"Late again" Alaera mumbled to herself as she walked into the Healing House. The party was already in full swing it seemed as the music poured out of the building. She nodded politely to the fae that greeted her as her eyes started to sweep the room, looking for someone she knew (which of course was highly unlikely since she had hardly met any other Pae on the island yet). 'I don't know why I bothered to come' she thought grumpily, even though she already knew the answer. It was the only way to stop Sally once she had heard about the event - she wouldn't quit going on and on about how the teen needed to get out and make friends. And worse she had added with a conspiratorial wink, boys. Alaera groaned. Not to mention when she had finally convinced Alaera to go, she had refused to go herself. And THEN she had shoved Sylvestanya in her arms and told her to take the toddler too.
She looked down at the squirming kid in her arms, not sure what she should do with her.
Sylvestanya had been immediately entranced by the fluttering fae just in front of her (and fortunantly for the fae, out of her grasp). But that didn't stop this toddler! She reached and reached, squirming around in Alaera's arms, her chubby little hands grasping the air. She let out a delighted squeal as she thought her finger brushed up against the fae's wings. So close!!!

Well the kiss was nice, and quite unexpected, but Altuirus wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth, so to speak. He leaned in a little with it, and when he pulled back he bowed his head.
He thought he might as well try to salvage this, so that way he could move onto his next target. "I'm sorry for flying off the handle at you," He said taking her hand and giving it a light kiss.
He could charm when he needed to...

"Don't worry too much about it," Reira replied. She was no longer angry about Alturius' unexpected advances; she understood that there had been some miscommunication and it was an honest mistake.
Her thoughts returned to his talk of becoming King and the sour impression it had left on her. "Just remember that your choices are going to affect other people, too. And... they might not appreciate a mistake." She laughed lightly at the little bit of irony she'd conjured up. Somehow, she wasn't too worried about his boasts. It wasn't that she doubted him; in fact, quite the contrary: she had faith. She had faith that he'd find out whatever would really be best for everyone, and that he'd do it.
But for now, it was time for her to get back to the party! She slipped away from him, toward the door, and grabbed for the handle.

Alturius chuckled an djust let it go, he followed her, not getting too close. Besides, it was time to find someone else. Since he'd gotten stonewalled here, he needed to get his aggrivation out. He would be suprised in the fact that she had faith in him. But, again, he was a man with no scruples, so he would get what he could where he could.

Reira stopped by the restroom to fix her hair, making sure that it was just where she wanted it. Considering the wild tango she'd danced, her hair hadn't gotten too tangled. Satisfied that she looked fine, she made her way back out and decided she wanted to check on Laugh-a-Lot. When she arrived at the nursery, she saw the carepae running around with twin boys. Her little sister was doing just fine, it seemed. So Reira returned to the food, where people seemed to be congrating as they came in. While she looked for anyone familiar or interesting to talk to, she poured herself a new glass of punch to replace the one she'd lost somewhere.

It was by complete coincidence that the 2 teen faerie pae showed up at the same time to this party, late as well. Eerily coincedental some might say.
In either case, the young pink one held the door open for the blue one, as she seemed have 'cargo' and her arms full.
"Thank you, Miss....?" Nomia bowed her head once she'd crossed the threshold, a small, damp and wriggling bundle in her arms.
"Lucia... and I think I have seen you before. At least, you seem familar to me." She couldn't put her finger on it, but she knew this girl from somewhere. Shrugging, she entered and shut the door behind her and looked around to see if she knew anyone at the party.
Nomia had been urged to attend this party by Iris. Iris was insisting that the girl start socializing, and not let the little bundle in her arms become a hermit as well. Passing by a room full of kids, Nomia assumed that was the room Iris said would work well for the baby. And being that this place is designed for all pae, she knew there'd be a large tub of water to put the pink baby naiad into. She smiled to the others in the room before approaching one such tub and unwrapping Lethe slowly before letting her slip into the warm water.
The baby naiad giggled and splashed a little, not used to such warm water, but finding it naturally soothing.

Alturius was prowling, and watching the entrence, spotting the two females enter the building and drop off their burden made him chuckle. Now he just had to wait for them to hit the main floor, then he could move in on them and make with the smoozing. If he was lucky, he could snag both of them tonight... Not at the same time, that was too risky, but maybe get one away from the other, do his thing, and get the other in the closet before the night was over...
Guardians he hoped so, they were lookers...

spookyx7 "Oh, well, I saw the cottage and thought I would give it a try." Noel didn't really mind not having a power, but thought having one would be pretty cool. "Do you like your power?" Ra nooded. "I like my power I mean to change in to a dragon is great for when I am looking for some one in the sky and flying and my wolf form is great for running in the forest I find them simple and fun at the same time." He liked simple "your powers will come you just have to wait."

Torvil Polgara smiles, and starts to promise Kaelin she won't, when she sees a familiar figure walk by the Nursery door. Her heart skips a beat and she gently moves Dil and Mel out of her lap and stands. "I promise I won't Kae, now uhm... could you watch these three? Kay! THanks!" She hugged her daughter and was gone before Kaelin could say yes or no to the matter.
Polgara lifted her dress up a little bit and practically ran after Aoaka, when she got within walking distance she let her dress down and walked, then tapped him on the shoulder. "Hello there... Stranger," She said in a playful tone.
"Polgara! Hello!" he said, a bit of releif evident in his tone. Not only was it someone he knew, it was someone he liked very much.
"I was beginning to think I wouldn't see anyone I knew here. I'm glad to see you again. How are you?" he asked, and glanced down at her attire. He blushed a little as he said, "You look lovely."

Karma wandered into the party, she had herad talking and music and knew this was where Fate was leading her next. She looked around not knowing anyone, but knew this was a good time to get to meet others.

Polgara smiled and gave a little curtsy, bowing her head a little as she blushed. "Thank you Aoaka, you don't look half bad yourself," She chuckled covering her mouth with the back of her hand before she smiled at him.
"Actually you look very handsome this evening," She offered her hand to him tho, and smiled. "Would you like to dance?"

Hearing the giggling laughter of other children, Alaera followed the sound to find a daycare. Several children were already there, laughing and playing and Alaera smiled. 'Good she needs to make some friends'
"Alright Syl be a good girl and play nice" She said as she dropped the child off in the daycare. "I'll be back later."
As Alaera made her way back to the main hall, she wasn't paying attention to where she was going...was that a penguin? She'd only seen them in her mother's book before, but she was certain that's what it was...only what was a penguin doing here? She didn't have much time to think about it though, as she belately discovered there was a obstacle in her path...a rich chocolate brown fae shaped obstacle. Unable to stop she went crashing into the other Pae.
After she had righted herself again, she blushed and started to apologize profusely "Oh dear, I'm soo sorry, I wasn't paying enough attention, here let me help, so sorry" she rambled on as she tended to do when she got embarassed.
Sylvestayna let out a cute bubbly laughed and waved awkwardly. "be be 'la!" After the teen finally disappeared she looked around the room and spotting some other kids, and started to clumisly crawl over. She grinned - new victims!!

Karma wasn't paying any attention when the other pae crashed into her. Karma fell to the ground and then looked over at the teen girl. "Oh, that's perfectly fine." She sat up and smiled, "That was just Fate leading you to me."
