((No prob.))
Baolin shook his head. Tsuzuki's argument made sense, but she was probably used to dealing with sensible politics.
"Shuro is sometimes more watched than I am," Baolin explained. "Folks are usually trying to find blackmail with myself and... certain people at home. Anyone traveling with him is a prime target. I'm about to have him send Zayiya a letter to come here. Once she is, you can pose as a maid or a friend or something for a good cover."
"Tsuzuki, I'm often attacked going to and from Amayen," Shuro explained hurriedly. "It's why I usually go alone. Better to hide, but there's always the risk."

"All right." He said to himself, staring blankly up at a tree. He'd read somewhere, though he couldn't put his finger on it, that if he was able to catch a set number of leaves falling from, a tree at one time, that he could increase his speed.
He drew his foot back, preparing to hit the tree with full force. With a loud cry of 'Hya!', he struck the tree. It started raining leaves, in a massive flurry of greens, and occasional yellows. He'd decided before this, that he'd have to grab 20 leaves, to provide a challenge for himself. He began.
"One.. two... three.." He said to himself, as he caught the leaves, drifting on the wind.

[waiting for Dav to wake up...] "Gran... why isn't he awake yet? Its been a day... is he gonna be ok?"Vade asked in a worried tone.
"He just needs to rest. He has been through quite alot, by the looks of it, and he has lost a lot of blood. I healed him, and with the help of the full-moon, he should have been completely, but he must have pushed himself far too hard. When he wakes up he should be fine, but I can't say how long that may take."Gran sighed and shook her head,"I do wish you would stay out of trouble, you know how worried I get."
Vade decided to wait here for his comrade to awaken. He knew Baolin might be waiting for them, but he also knew that his presence there could only attract attention and, undoubtedly, more trouble. It was strange enough for a Fire-Nation citizen to be staying with him, but a water-bender and a Earth-Nation peasant, that was strange indeed.
Plus Baolin must have had guards who were much stronger then he, despite his wanting to prevent a war the war was upon them, weather he liked it or not. The only difference Dav and Vade may have made was that Baolin won't lose his life and his people won't be subjugated, at least for now.
But.. perhaps Vade has spoken too soon... He has no idea what went on up in the palace. Things may be worse then he could even imagine. Knowing the government in Ba Sing Se the Fire-Nation could be at their door-step and they wouldn't even know. For all he knew Baolin could be dead, and him and Dav could be next.
Vade knew that no matter the consequences, he could survive, but at what cost? He looked over at Gran pouring some tea. War would mean more pain and suffering for everyone. He had already lost all the family he had in the world, Gran was all he had left. Likewise Vade had grown to be like a son to Gran, the son she never had. Sadly enough, she was never able to have children. She was the most loving person Vade had ever met, but she had no-one in which to share it with.
If Vade was going to go help Baolin, or stay in Ba Sing Se and help Dav, he knew he had to get stronger. He had to protect Gran, and all the citizens in Ba Sing Se and all the innocent people who fall prey to the government's war-mongering. Sure the Avatar would arise and make things right, but how long would that take!? Avatar Aang took 100 years to get around to making things right. For all he knew the new avatar could be chained up in a dungeon somewhere in the Fire-nation.
Like his father said before they set off across the desert.[Flashback] "Father... this world sucks"young Vade said as he kicked a rock across the barren desert they had as a back-yard."
"Well then,"a large powerful figure bent down and picked up a handful of soil that blew away in the wind. "I suppose your right. Pack up, were movin!"
"Father!?"
"I'm feeling restless, we've wasited our whole lives in this dirt hole for nothing. A long time ago this was the most successful producer of food in the empire, but the town has dried up... literally. My father poured every inch of his life into trying to return this farm to the greatness it once had, but he turned to dust just like his fields. I hated him for this cursed farm. Its about time we moved on. Your ment for something much better then this, your mother always said so. I can see it in your eyes... her eyes." He wiped a tear from his cheek, and then turned back to Vade. "A man never did anything by sitting on his a** Vade, if you want to change the world you have to go out there and change it yourself. Your never going to make a difference skipping rocks across the sand. Pack your things, were going to Ba Sing Se."
That was the last thing his father said to him before the accident. He couldn't let him down... he couldn't let Gran down. He had to fulfill his destiny, no matter where it lead, or what stood in his way.

Tsuzuki looked down for a moment and took a deep breath before saying tearfully, "I don't want you two to be hurt in any way. I don't care what happens to me in the process but I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt because of me."
She knew that keeping them safe may never last but she wanted to try anyway. She didn't want Baolin or Shuro to get hurt and, if Shuro had to send a note that may potentially kill him, she didn't want him to go. But she knew that he had to and she couldn't go for him because the second she handed the note to whoever it was in Amayen, whoever was watching would be more suspicious than ever.
Tsuzuki suddenly stopped showing her emotions and dropped her bag onto the floor. She then looked down as her voice hardened and said, "I need to go bend for awhile. I'll be back soon."
She looked back up, forcing a smile onto her face although her eyes were still filled with a mix of confusion as to what she should do and a tinge of sadness, "Don't worry. I won't run."
She then left. Bending would help her calm down for awhile.

She found a small space inbetween two buildings. It wasn't much and the buildings were made of stone so a fire shouldn't have been able to start if things got out of control. She breathed out and took her stance. It was a mix between tiger and eagle. She wasn't in the mood for practicing defensively today. She extended one arm and forced her hand to look like an eagle's claws. The other hand she kept close to her body in a paw-like fist.
After breathing for a few moments, she began to fight her hands back and forth rapidly through the air, releasing jets of fire every time that she did. After five blasts from each hand, she jumped up and sent a fire blast underneath her so she would be propelled even further up. Then, as she began to go towards one of the walls, she kicked it as hard as she could while releasing as much fire as she could without sending herself ricocheying(sp?) backwards. When she landed, she continued with as many kicks and punches she could make until she was completely worn out.
She breathed harshly for a few seconds and still didn't know what she was going to do but felt strangely better.

Shuro and Baolin watched her leave, not daring to oppose her. In their lines of experience, they knew better than to upset a woman-especially a bender-when she was already unhappy.
"Baolin," Shuro said at a length. Baolin turned and nodded curtly.
"Take my message to Zayiya immediately," Baolin instructed. "I want her here as soon as possible."
Shuro bowed uneasily and hurried to his room to pack his bag.

But it wasn't long before she started to feel bad again. She fell to the ground and started to silently cry. She couldn't help but feel responsible for everyone that was hurt today. Dav may have brought them all there but she was the one that had let him. When he had said hello to her, she should have just told him no and saved a lot of trouble. She sat there for what felt like hours but was only about fifteen minutes before she got up and walked back to Baolin's house.
She walked into the door and turned to her room. Her voice cracked as she said, "I think I'm going to take a nap or something."
She lay down but couldn't get to sleep. She both wished for and against Baolin to come in and comfort her so she made no effort towards the door or with her voice. She just lay there as night crept on.

((I'm bored and I feel like procrastinating again xp ))
Tsuzuki awoke slowly, her eyes fluttering open. She had fallen asleep but hadn't realized it as it had been dreamless. She didn't have to look over to the window to realize that the sun was already up. Dav and the earth bender were supposed to be here by now. She wondered what had happened to them as she sat up and brushed out her hair. As she tied it up into a pony tail, she looked in the mirror. Below her eyes was a little poofy from her crying but it faded away after soaking it with warm water.
She moved out into the front room and fire bended some tea for herself. It was empty. She suspected that Shuro had left for Amayen already and Baolin was either at the palace or still asleep. She sipped her tea politely as she sat down on one of the floor custions and waited patiently for Baolin's return.

Baolin wandered into the main room, still dazed from his sleep, but at least dressed and clean. Just because he wasn't a morning person didn't mean he couldn't look like one.
He caught sight of Tsuzuki sipping tea by the table. He ambled over and plopped down on the other side, staring at the far wall, waiting for the fog in his mind to dissipate.

"Huh?" he mumbled, his eyes flickering to the blurred figure that was Tsuzuki. Heaving a sigh, he rubbed his eyes with two fingers and held out a hand with a low grunt, the universal male signal for 'caffeine'.

Vade walked into the sleeping quarters to check on Dav. He could hear a knock at the door, Gran walked over to answer it. Vade remained still and listened intently to the conversation.
"Excuse me ma'am, we are here to search the premises. He have reports of fugitives being housed in this residence."
"Thats ridiculous! This is a place for the sick and less fortunate to find refuge. If you are going to start trouble here I'm going to have to insist that you to leave."
"Ma'am please step aside so we can conduct our search. We don't want trouble, we are just carrying out our orders."
Vade couldn't let Gran get dragged into this mess. He walked to the corner and smashed the pot that held a cactus-daisy. Gravel and sand spilled out across the floor. With some concentration he coated his hands in the sand and gravel, creating a gauntlet. He then proceeded to go answer the door.
"I'm telling you-" [Gran]
"Can I help you gentlemen?"[Vade]
"We have orders to search the premises, please stand aside. We will use force if necessary." It was a short, sturdy man who tightened his grip on his maul as he finished his statement. There only seemed like two soldiers, but Vade didn't want to start a fight in Gran's house.
"There is no one else here, theres no need to waste your time." Vade said as he hurried to shut the door, but the man wedged it open with his maul. The guard threw his weight into the door bushing Vade back a couple of feet. Vade made a striking gesture, flinging the sand on his fist into the eyes of the guard. He followed that up with a side kick to the chest, sending the guard flying into his cohort, sending them both rolling out the door. As he walked out the door to continue his assault he could hear someone behind him. As he turned around all he saw was a set of knuckles and a brilliant flash of light followed by darkness.
(I don't think Dav will be posting at all anymore...)

Tsuzuki smiled slightly and nodded before letting out a large yawn. "Well," she said, "I'm gonna go out shopping for a little bit. Well, browsing, I guess since I don't have any more money. I bet that the upper district has some really cool stuff."
She grabbed a piece of bread and cooked it in her hands as she walked out the door. She ate the piece of toast as she walked, not feeling like shopping but deciding that it was better than just sitting around all day. After a couple of minutes of walking, she found herself in a small courtyard with a resturaunt and benches surrounding a beautiful fountain. It was hotter than usual today and she felt like cooling her feet.
After removing her boots and pulling up her pants to her knees, she dipped her feet in the water and gave out a heavenly sigh. 'This is the life,' she thought happily as the cool water cycled around her legs.
Unfortunately, her happiness was short lived as the owner of the resturaunt came to shoo her away. She groaned as she carried her things to a nearby bench and lay down. The sky was clear and bright and made perfect sense of that lazy feeling she now felt. Her eyelids began to droop heavily as she tried to fight off the sleep unsuccessfully. After a few moments of her quiet rebellion, sleep overcame her.
~~
She found herself running through a field as a giant wolfbat and knew that this had to be a dream. She didn't know where she was running to but she knew that she had to get there soon or something bad would happen. After she felt like she had been running though miles and miles of long grass, she found herself at a cliff. As she looked over the cliff, she realized that she was herself once more except what she saw she didn't like.
The waves crashed violently against the edges of the cliff as an entire fleet of black fire navy ships were approaching the earth kingdom city below. Screams filled the air as fire balls pelted the defenseless port and what little earthbenders were present gave everything they had into fierce blows to the hulls. By the end of the dream, the city was burning.
~~
Tsuzuki woke with a start; the sun was already at its zeignth as the cold beads of sweat dripped down her cheeks. She shook her head and thought to herself, 'What can I do? If I go back home, sure I'll be saving people here from the Fire Nation believing that they have a hostage but I'll also be running away like a coward. If I stay, I'll be endagering the livees of everyone around me but I'll be fighting for their lives as well as my own. But I'll be fighting against my home. . . my family.'
She would have persued the matter more in her head if two soldiers hadn't shown up at the southern end of the courtyard. She ran to the north and headed back to Baolin's house. She knew that a war was coming; her dream was just a side effect of her subconcious, right?

Baolin frowned at the lack of something caffeinated being placed in his hand and watched blearily as Tsuzuki left, barely managing to discern her words.
Deciding it wasn't worth the effort to wake up, he slumped back and fell asleep on the cushions.
---
When he awoke next, the house was still empty. Consciousness didn't elude him quite as effectively, though, so he would have to get up.
Tsuzuki was shopping, the benders weren't back, the Earth King didn't have an appointment for him at the time, and Shuro was on his way to Amayen, leaving the young with nothing in particular to occupy his time.
Well, at least the house was empty.
With a sigh, Baolin dashed to his room, returning to the living area with several items in hand. Parchment, brushed, ink, and a well-read letter from home.
"Might as well practice my shoudo," he muttered, setting the art up in the center of the floor. Smoothing out the letter, he dipped the brush in the ink and began reading.
Dear Baolin,
Carefully, he painted several symbols. Duke. Wanderer. Wind.
Your presence is greatly missed in Amayen.
Jungle. Snake. Heat. Home.
Perhaps greatest of all by myself.
Woman. Red hair. Water. Ambassador.
Naturally, your people await your return.
Family. Responsibility. Heritage...
