((Wow... you're so evil. razz Just remember, Daia. You brought that upon yourself. razz And blame Gangs of New York for that fish-hook... ninja Umm.. would Rainy in "dream-world" have been able to feel that? o_O`))
Rain looked to the pair. They seemed to be looking at her, and yet not exactly at her at the same time. "Rain! Hurry up!" the girl called again. "I'm coming!" another voice sounded.
Rain looked behind her and saw another young girl with blazing red hair running towards her. She cocked her head, her eyes wide opened. A green glint shone from the girl's forehead. Is that... me? she pondered curiously.
When the girl ran past her, it seemed as if time slowed for a moment. In one instant, Rain could have sworn the girl's eyes looked towards her, but then time sped up again and the girl joined her friends. "It's about time!" the blonde girl said. "You're so slow!"
As Dusana backed away, she gave the two a queer (AS IN STRANGE!!!) look. They must know them, she stated the obvious in her head. Pointing at two KLF soldiers, she motioned them forward. She whispered a few words in their ears before sending them off.
The catapult readied the black LFO, then sent it flying out of the hangar. It repeated the action with the two KLFs. Once the mechs were out of sight, Dusana turned and left the hangar for the bridge.

The trio in the black LFO outpaced the KLF's... she was not lossing them this time. No way in hell was medri getting away. "Lets kick there A$$! Lewy, dougy. Get ready, we all know what will happen when Medri sees us!"

Dusana watched the LFO on the radar dash far away from the dot that signified the Bolero. The two KFLs were lagging far behind them, and it was more slowly than it normally would have been.
Once the black LFO had left the gereral vicinity of the Bolero, Dusana turned and headed to the captain's chair. "Call the KFLs," she said to the communications officer. "Tell them to come back. We're getting out of here now."
She looked to one of the other officers. "Put this ship into full speed, get it going as fast as you can get it can." The officer nodded his head and proceeded to do as such. As the KFLs began to come back to the Bolero, it sped off towards its destination, leaving the black LFO and its occupants behind.
((Shen.. you've been DITCHED!! xd And no chasing after me!! >___< You can only come to the Foundation if you get special permission from Tolly. Other than that. HEEEEECK NO!! Thank you. ^__^))
Rain looked at the three kids from the spot she first entered the realm in. She then took a few steps forward, yet unsuredly.
"Are we going lifting?" the boy asked eagerly. "Are we, are we?"
"Yes, Foxstar," the young Rain told him. "I've got your board right here." She held up a reff-board and gave him a smile. "You've got yours, right, Sunshine?"
The blonde girl nodded her head. "Sure do!" She held up a golden reff-board, beaming with bliss.

And the 'monkey-boy', who was supposed to be standing guard..?
Ryouki was still relativly in position...relativly, meaning he was down the hall, grumbling as he tried to get a soda from the snack machine.
"AAAAAAAAAAH!!!" he screamed and kicked it "GIMMEE MY SODAAA!!! I payed my last dollar for it!! FIEND!!"
He then began to shake it, screaming about his soda all the while.
((There. xd )))

((Hehe.. nice. razz I'll just help that little thing along. razz ))
One of the guards noticed Ryouki's crazy antics. Telling the other to keep watch, he walked down to Ryouki. "What's the matter?" he asked. "Stupid thing eating dollars again. It always does that."
Back in wonderland dreamworld, Rain followed the kids as they walked to a cliff. Sunshine was hesitant to go off and Foxstar was timid, as well. Little Rain, however, she took the risk and jumped right off. Sunshine shouted at her as she watched her friend fall. A flash a green was seen from the bottom of the chasm and Rain came riding up in a flurry of green.
"It's not that hard!" she said. "Just jump on your board and go for it!" The young girl picked up speed and shot into the sky. Foxstar nodded his head at her words and headed off. Sunshine reached out to him as he left. After several moments of contemplating, she headed out, too.
Colors and lights began to rush past Rain and she once again found herself in the room with the shelves of books. Looking around, she turned the page to another drawing. It was one of a woman holding a baby. Once again, Rain found herself in the drawing, as it it was real.

Ryouki was now on the ground, attempting to crawl inside the machine it seemed in order to get his plundered food products.
"Must...get....yummy goodness....EVIL MACHINE!!!"

((Wow. I can... see that. razz ))
The guard bent down and moved Ryouki out of the way. "Move and pay attention," he said. "I'm about to teach you a technique that will work against any misbehaving vending machine." Looking the machine over and running his hands along it, the guard nodded his head. He stood back and kicked it hard. The sound of a can could be heard hitting against the thing it lands in. "Ok, there ya go," he said.
Rain looked at the woman. She looked to have the same hair color as Rain herself, only a darker color. "Rainbow," she said. "I want to name her Rainbow."
A man standing on the other side of the room looked at her with confusion. "What?" he questioned. "Why? We were going to name her Stardust. She needs to be named Stardust."
"I know that," the woman said. "That can be her second name. I want to name her Rainbow for her first." She looked at the baby in her arms with love and affection, rocking it back and forth.
"Why?" he asked again. "She needs 'star' in her first name, it's my family's common name! Rainbow can be her second name."
"No, it'll be her first, and that's why." She pointed out the window next to her bed, to a perfectly shaped arc of rich colors. Clouds were all around it an sunlight could be seen shining at the same time.
The man walked to the window and stared out at the scene. He opened his eyes a bit wider, taking it all in. It was striking, and he could see why his wife was so set on the name. "Alright, Dawn," he said, smiling at her. "She can be named Rainbow."

The black-haired nut known as Ryouki quickly scrambled to get his drink, the stood back up looking at it like it was gold.
"S....sooooodaaaaa" he then looked at the other guard "I will NOT forget this!"
With that, he scrambled away like a monkey, the can in his....mouth.

The guard watched as the young lad scrambled away. He looked back at his fellow guard and inquired, "Was that a threat?"
Rain was back in the bookshelf room once more. She was slowly beginning to realize just what this book was. It was her life. Only in drawings. Each time she looked at a drawing, she was reliving a memory and past event of her real life. The book was a portal to a completely different realm; another dimension.
After exploring more pages of memories; happy ones and sad ones. Exciting ones and boring ones, Rain came upon a dark looking page. It was unlike all the others, which were colorful. Immediately she began surrounded by swirling black clouds. Entering the memory, she looked around, seeing nothing at first. After a while, the scene became more clear and looking forward, she heard the hurried footsteps of someone running.

Ryouki, now hidden on the other side of the hallway, slowely stuck his head around the edge of a random door.
"Yes! Precious suuugar...."
He then his himself in the bathroom to drink the soda...for reasons that only one of his blood would understand.

((Oh, maan!! xd Those people are all KOOKS!! And get ready for a hecka long post. razz ))
Rain looked straight ahead and waited for someone to come towards her. The sounds of the footsteps grew louder. As time continued on, Rain realized that she was on a road that ran through some low cliffs. She also realized it was raining.
Listening more carefully, she thought she heard some more footsteps. Yes, there were three pairs of them, all running along. Just after that, the murmur of voices could be heard. Moments later, she could make out the words.
"Hurry up!!" one yelled. "You're falling behind!"
"I'm trying!!" another responded. "You're both too fast!"
Rain could make out who the people were. It was Sunshine and Foxstar, and far behind them, Rain herself. They were all older than the first time she saw them, perhaps one or two years younger than she was now.
The rain began to fall heavier, yet Rain was not effected by it, like she was being protected. Sunshine and Foxstar zipped past Rain. She watched them a little, then looked back at herself. She watched as her younger self tripped and fell into a puddle of mud. She yelled out to the two far ahead of her, but it didn't seem they heard her. She sat up and began to sob. "They won't wait for me," she blubbered.
((Ok, the rest in the next installment. This is getting too long. razz ))

((Whatever, I'm double posting... ninja ))
Rain walked towards her younger self, standing at the girl's side. The young Rain, possibly noyounger than one or two years than the current Rain, was trying to hold back tears. "They probably didn't hear me," she said dismally, wiping her face.
Two bright lights began to shine far behind them. Current Rain looked up and towards them while the younger Rain did not seem to notice. It seemed as if the vehicle wasn't going to stop until it was about to run the girl over. The falling rain could be seen streaking in front of the lights as two men stepped out.
"Hey, I think we found another subject," one of them said as he walked around Rain to view her from the front. She stared at them wide-eyed, too afraid to move or say anything. "Yeah, I think we have," the second agreed. The first one bent down and picked Rain up and slung her over his shoulder. Subsequently, the girl began to scream and thrash about.
"Are they supposed to do that?" the second questioned. "I don't know," the first responded. "Just help me get her into the back with the others."
Sunshine and Foxstar had turned around when they saw the men putting Rain in the truck. They began to run towards the vehicle and shout at the men, but the truck had turned around and drove off. The two chased as long as they could until the truck was far from sight.
Rain was staring off in the distance at were the truck had disappeared. She had the same look the younger one had when the men first approached her; a look of shock and fear.
Sunshine was crying on the ground next to Rain and Foxstar hid his face, clenching his fists tight. Everything began to blur once more and Rain found herself in the room of shelves. Staring at the book, she dropped it and backed away.

Feeling dejected Daia plopped down on the dry end of the bed. She knew she should have tried to torture the girl more before giving her the shot. The words of her handler came to mind again though,
"If you find her then don't take chances. Hold your emotions in check and do what you're being sent for. As soon as you can get her into a sedated state."
She wanted to be mad at those words. She wanted to ignore them and had even tried. When the time came though, she had done done his will. There was no choice. Sargent Pino's orders were unquestionable. As were the orders of any handler to there charge. Now, with the deed done, Daia felt a swell of pride. Pino's desire had been fulfilled and with it, the will of the Foundation.
She stood up and sighed lightly. Walking to the door she unlocked it and stepped out. Ryouki wasn't too far away.
"You there..." she called out to him. "What is your name?"
"Rain needs to be tended to. She's made a mess of her room and will need new sheets for her bed. Please collect what she needs and get her off the floor."

'The...floor?!' Ryouki had just started walking back, the soda now vanished to the point of no return. And now hearing that...he really didn't like this girl. Not one bit.
"Yes ma'am....and it's Ryouki." he felt it wasn't a good idea to bring up why any of this had happened. It was most likely that bob-haired female's own fault, which of course meant something was going on that he wasn't supposed to know about...at least not yet.
Looking down to avoid giving her a cold glare, he walked back down the hallway to the supply room to gather up sheets and whatever else would be needed. He would've liked to check on Rain first, but Daia was still close by and with emotions running this high something bad would happen if he got the impulse to exact revenge after seeing what had been done.....
'This is insane....' Stacking supplies in hand, the boy then looked over his shoulder to see if she was gone before starting back to the girl's room.

((Oh, eeeww!!! That's gross, Tolly!! xd ))
Rain had turned herself away from the book and was sitting on the floor. Yet, she kept finding herself glancing back towards it. As hard as she tried, her gaze kept roaming back to the book.
It showed her who she was and where she came from. It could also show her just what happened that made her loose her memories. Reluctantly, she reached for the book. Holding it close, she opened it and searched through the pages for drawings that show events occuring after her abduction.
"You idiots! This girl is useless! She doesn't have the disease."
"*sigh* We'll keep her around, anyway. Maybe she has a use."
"Where's that worthles child?" "Hiding in her room." "Go check in on her."
"Sir! She's contracted the disease! We can experiment on her."
"Excellent. Looks like she has a use for us after all."
Horrific scenes of experimentation. Strange instruments intruding under the skin. A dead look in the eyes. Finally, screams of pain.
The pages of the book were blank after that. There was nothing more. Rain knew the rest of the story, anyway. Life trapped in a building of a bright clean white. Scientists doing "check-ups" and other things. Meeting Kayako and gaining her freedom. It didn't seem to have lasted that long. In and out was how it appeared to be. Now she was in this strange place. So alien, and yet oddly familiar.
