Most of the girls in my band call me Mr. Benji. (If you couldn't tell my names Ben)
One girl was making up names for everyone and mine kinda stuck on. She also gave
my friend the name Skidoodle because he gave Skittles to her. The red haired kid in my band is name Big Red. That's about it I think.

My nickname is either Stupid, Becker, or Wilber (Each with a long story attached)... The other nicknames are Blue and Cough-a-lung... xd

I'm a new guy here, but during marching season everyone calls me Fred Estair (however spell that) or just Fred because I won't quit moving around at attention and I always sway. I just like swaying. mrgreen

Well there is Klizzle, Kaylizzle, Klitz, Ellias, Pimpette, chicka, float queen, pringle princess...it goes on for a while ^^

fantastic flutes
classy clarinets
terrifyin trumpets
'tupid trombones
etc.

Finally! I've been looking for a thread like this!
Anyway, the two seniors (one being section leader) in my section make up nicknames for the trombone section (the section I'm in). The names they made up are as follows:
Meat
Frosty
Fairydust (me!)
Sparkles

Hmm wow there's a lot of funny nicknames.. I think the only two I've been called is Stripey and "the weird one".. Other than that our BD calls this one sax Nastay.. 'tis funneh

my name became Danish because I'd always be at practice first so I could eat a pastry and have some hot chocolate. plus my name is dana so it just went rolleyes
Then there was Squirtle cause he looked like the Pokeman and Birdman who was a Saxophone player and looked like a bird and always had a birdhouse skateboard under his chair.

My nickname in band..and...well, everywhere now, is Spooner. Why? Well, I was getting tired of one of the other trumpets, so I decided to just go along with whatever he said. Not really paying attention to the words that were coming out of his mouth, I admitted to spooning with monkeys. And there you have it, I'm suddenly Spooner. The name stuck better than expected.

I don't personally have any nicknames but one of the freshman flutes decided to name one of our section leaders the Band Nazi. The saxes call one of drum majors Pookie and it kinda... stuck so now she's officially Pookie. (It's fun to just stand on the field and yell Pookie until she reacts. ^-^)

Well, I've been called things from 'Mommy' to 'Diva Darlene' to 'Sexy Screw-up' (that one was a one-day-only thing). We called our old drum major 'serehw odlaw' (pronounced: se-re-ho od-la...its 'where's waldo' spelled backwords). We call one of our freshman guard girls 'tostito' ,or however thats spelled, because she can shape her tounge like those tostito scoop chips. A clarinet girl was called 'boob freaka'. Another clarinet is called 'hobbit'. A trombone guy was called 'Giraffe Neck'. Our guard instructor calls us 'Flagies'. I could go on...but I don't really feel like it.

the only non-drummer with a nick name is Ceasar. on drumline there's Skippy, Ambo, Sky or Skywalker, Ching-ching, and last year there was Helga/Hitler.

OH! i forgot my pit chicks. (crap, they're going to hurt me for this.)
BLOSSOM- reminds our drum instructor of some tv character. not the powerpuff.
WINDY- plays the windchimes. also the idea of our drum instructor.
CLOCKWORK- her freshman year, i had to call to wake her up during band camp week. she was two hours late to practice and will never live it down.
SNORT- if she laughs while she's eating/drinking something, whatever it is will spray out her nose. to date there have been sweetarts, burgers, fries, coke, energy drink, and (thanks to yours truly) hot coffee.
*drum roll*
arrow THE GODMOTHER aka the pit princess- what can i say, i look after them. i've been official section leader to two years and keeping our heads on straight for four. i am the pit princess. fear my power.

My nick name I gave myself is SlowReed, cause I'm slow and I break my reeds often. I'm second to another clarinet. We have oly 3 clarinets.
