Kelala hesitantly walked over to him. Trying to be careful as to not scare of the birds. She smiled warmly at him as she got closer to him.

He held his arm, and the blue bird perched on it, closer to her as she approched him. The smile she gave him caused his chest to flip oddly, but he ignored it, just enjoying the moment. "Go ahead," he said softly, moving his hand from the bird's back so she could stroke it.

Slowly and carefully she raised a steady hand to the bird. Cooeing at it she smiled as she stroked the birds feathers. "Wow." She said once again, she had never been this close to a bird, atleast not like this.

Ovaan smiled, but his eyes weren't on the bird. They were on her. The gentle expression she wore as she stroked the bird made his heart flip again, and he couldn't help but wish it was him she was looking at like that. This desire was an alien feeling to him. He hadn't been near anyone -not like this- for years. Especially not a woman.

Ovaan swallowed, looking away from her as she turned toward him, a blush rising in his cheeks. So this was a blush. He was almost afraid of this odd attraction to her. He felt...ashamed. No wonder the few men he spoke with always warned him about women. They were weird.
And pretty...
They did weird things to you, and made you want...strange things.
The little bird chirped, enjoying the attention, and hopped from Ovaan's arm onto Kelala's finger.

Ovaan grinned at the demoness, a healthy blush on his cheeks. He looked away quickly, feeling a need to hide his pleasure of the moment. The little bird cheeped, hopping sideways down the woman's arms as another bird, smaller than the first and possibly its chick, joined it on the limb.

Kelala continued to aww and coo at the birds while giving them attentiong. Though admist all the cuteness she looked over at Ovaan and noticed him blushing. Cheeks tinted pink as she smiled and looked back to the birds. Hoping she didn't catch her sneaking a peak.

Ovaan shifted his weight, trying to banish the strong urge to pull her back into his arms. Maybe next time he'd hold on to her a little longer...
"Well, I guess here's as good a place as any." Ovaan declared, interrupting his own thoughts as he pointed toward a small bump of ground covered in grass and little trees. It would work well to build a fire and cook. He moved away from her, toward the grassy little hill, the birds that had been resting on him taking flight, but the three butterflies in his hair staying put, just flapping a bit as they balanced themselves.

The two birds flew away as Kelala shifted to see what he was talking about. Looking up at the brids in flight she smiled softly. Turnign her attention back to him she tilted her head to the side, confused. "What do you mean by that?" She asked having to forget that there intent of coming out here besides her getting a bath was also food.

He spun around, walking backwards, her confusion bringing an amused smile to his face. He grinned at her. "Food?" he reminded her, holding up the bag of herbs he had collected.

He plopped down far away from any trees and pointed a finger at the ground. It caved in as though the grass had been a blanket over a hole in the ground. With another wave of his hand, wood began to pile itself in the pit. His eyes a deep red, he snapped his fingers over the pile of wood, and the wood leapt to life, flame crackling over it. Another almost casual wave of his hand and his pot appeared. He began to fill it with herbs and, much waving of hand summoning materials from his home in the great tree. The man was quite the handy spellcaster.

Kelala sat down next to him as she stared wide eyed. She watched intently as his spells took place. "Well, you know your magick." She said awed by the current act that he had displayed.
