eek I met the man that did the story boarding and background painting for Cats Don't Dance.
The only reason why that movie wasn't a hit was because the company (Turner) was bought three times during it's production. By the time WB got a hold of it, they had Quest for camalot in production and spend the advertising budjet on that.

It's a wonderful, glorious movie that pulls off the classic gag with finess an freshness. It is the pinacle...the grind stone...the manner by which we should all live out lives! *dramatic music*

And it's just plain catchy too. I love the ark song...it makes me giggle everytime in wonderful DVD glory.
