wow, haven't been here in awhile...
I'm on the Outbreak japanese servers now, pretty much addicted to playing on there.
Since doing that I've pretty much fallen for certain adlibs that didn't make it in the american version of File 2.

I mean, were Alfred's or Alexia's laughs any better? I can tolerate them from the Ashford siblings, but it seemed cheesy coming from Wesker-- the uber-calm, serious, commanding man from the first RE. His random laughing moments in Code Veronica seemed a bit out of character.

Well, he was written completely differently in Code Veronica. Let's face it, in RE1 he was, as you said, calm, serious, calculating, kinda like T-1000 from Terminator 2. Whereas in Code Veronica he was written more like... Ough, it pains me to say this, but he was written like Sephiroth. Poetically epic... Suiting to Code Veronica's theme, which made the whole game seem like an Opera without the singing. Wesker was written very differently from his origins.

Biohazard EXTREME Sorry, but you lost my interest at, "Buy a new PS2". Well there is a cheap people method you can do using some thing called "Swap Magic" but it's kinda complicated. Might be something to look into though.
