The fire fox laughed softly and nodded his head. "Peaceful enough, yes. Everyone usually has their own thing that they do daily, and nobody gets in each other's ways...Well, except for Jen-Jen and Darrick, but they're our only two exceptions so far." Drake said with a light smile and another small laugh. Reaching up, he lightly scratched his ear and smiled.
"But Papa Drakey has been spending a lot of time with a girl!" Jeanny blurted out with a giggle, before clasping his hands over his mouth, blushing. Oops, that was supposed to be a secret..
Drake laughed softly and patted the young bunny on the head. "It's quite alright, Jen-Jen. It isn't...like that, really. Mew is different, she's like you, Jen-Jen, only she is a couple of years younger. I have no interest in taking advantage of that sweet, young girl. I merely want to see her happy and content. She deserves to be treated kindly," he said with a small nod of his head, speaking in honesty.
Raelen giggled lightly, and looked towards Byakko with a smile, gently biting her lower lip. It was taking all of her strength and concentration to not lean over and kiss him. But, she would manage. They wouldn't be on the picnic for too long, just long enough for the three men to get properly acquainted.

"Oh but Drake that concern can leave you wishing to see more of her." He reached out and took Raelen's hand into his. "It was my concern for this lovely lady that had actually sprang my feelings for her. And with how considerate of her you sound to be, I am sure the feeling would be recipicated." Byakko turned to smile to Raelen and he kissed her hand before setting it back down carefully. He was not much for public displays of affection but he wanted her to know he cared even with her friends nearby. The hawk elder glanced to the basket curiously. "So do you two have a favorite food?" He shifted his stare up to the two males.

"I'm afraid that I'm a little more careful with where my heart goes now days...and a little more watchful of keeping my emotions hidden away," the fire fox said lightly before tilting his head to the side, glancing towards the basket. "I'm sure that anything Raelen prepared will be a favorite of mine."
"Baby carrots," Jeanny piped up with a giggle, lightly wiggling back and forth from where he sat on the blanket, glancing from Raelen and Byakko towards Drake before laying down on his stomach, sprawling out, half on the blanket and half on the grass.
Raelen smiled towards Byakko and reached out towards the basket, opening it to reveal what was inside. There were a few pieces of fish, some shrimp, carrots and apples, and also a few sandwiches. Purring lightly at Byakko's polite displays of affection, she shook her head lightly to let him know he didn't have to show her he cared, even if she was having difficulty controlling her excitement and feelings.

Byakko seemed to be distracted as he eyed the shrimp and fish. He smiled to Raelen. "Wonderful." was his compliment. He glanced over to Drake. "It is a good idea to guard yourself some nowadays. But make sure you leave just enough room for the right anthro to make their way." He looked over to Jeanny and smiled brightly before he pulled out some of the carrots and offered them to him.

Drake shook his head and laughed lightly, brushing bangs back from his face while his deep red eyes scanned over what was in the basket. He seemed to be mostly distracted while his eyes caught sight of the fish, and had to force himself to look back into Byakko's direction. "I agree, but nowadays you never know who is the right one, and who is the wrong one..."
"Well, I think that Axy is the right one for me!" The angelic bunny giggled and tugged lightly at one of his ears, fidgeting against the ground as he lay on his stomach, kicking his legs carefully into the air as he patiently waited, grinning broadly as Byakko offered the carrots to him. "Thank you, Byakko~" Taking the carrots, Jeannot held one between his fingers before leaning in to Raelen to whisper very quietly, "This one is a good one, don't let him go anywhere," before gingerly placing the carrot into his mouth.
Raelen blushed lightly at Jeannot's secretive whisper, before lightly running her fingers through his pink hair, smiling gently. "Don't worry, Jeanny, I plan on keeping him," the feline whispered in return before removing the shrimp and fish from the basket, setting the two plates in the middle so that Byakko, Drake, and herself could reach them. She then took out the apples, and placed them in the middle along with the sandwiches. "Well, let's not be shy," she said playfully while picking up a shrimp.

Byakko smiled to Drake. "To know who is right for you, you must find someone who accepts you completely. Someone who enters your heart and even when they are gone, your mind wanders to them, and your heart yearns. But I am merely speaking for myself. Everyone can have a different experience" He cast a gaze over to Raelen before politely leaning back to allow Jeannot and Drake at the food. "So what is your one and only Axy like, Jen-Jen?"

Drake nodded lightly in agreement to Byakko's words. It was true that when you met the right person you usually felt something, but...it was getting more difficult day by day, seeing as many people were becoming excellent decievers or seducers. Getting a single piece of fish, he leaned back and began eating it, glancing from Byakko to Raelen, then to Jeannot.
Raelen smiled gently at Byakko's words, and gathered a couple more pieces of shrimp. Turning her attention to Jeannot, she quirked a brow. She had to admit, she was curious as to what this 'Axy' fellow was like. Eventually she'd like to meet him, but only if he was willing to.
Jeannot blushed at the mention of his boyfriend, and swallowed down the rest of the carrot that was in his mouth. Licking his lips, he lightly rubbed the edge of one of his long, white ears. "Well...he's very, very nice...and he doesn't try to take advantage of me. He makes sure I'm comfortable and, and...he even plays games with me! Like tic-tac-toe, and he got me some ice when I fell down the stairs when we played tag!"

Byakko smile was one that was warm. "I'm happy you found someone who truly cares so much about you and also keeps you entertained." His smile became amused. "He sounds perfect for you Jen-Jen." Byakko took up many fish items as well as a veggie or two. He took a bite of the shrimp and smiled over to Raelen. "Delicious. You are quite the cook." He beamed to her lovingly before turning his attention to Drake. "Now you must do other things besides look after young Jen-Jen here. What are your personal interests, if you don't mind my question?"

"I'm looking after someone else," Astaliare murmured lightly, eating politely. Waiting a few moments to swallow his food, he looked back towards Byakko, one of his ears flicking lightly. "I've been busying myself with taking care of Mew. But...my personal interests...Normally I just like to sit around in our library and read, or paint..." Blinking, he glanced around and frowned lightly. "Speaking of which, I'm sorry to cut my end of this short, but...I should be off. You see, Mew is partially moving in, I can't stand the thought of anyone as young as her to not have a home to live in, and...I'm supposed to help her paint her room..." Smiling, he stood up, lightly shaking Byakko's hand before giving Raelen a hug, patting Jeannot on the head. "It was an honor to meet you, Byakko."
Raelen arched a slender eyebrow and gently hugged the fire fox in return, her tail giving a light twitch as she lightly ran her fingers absently through Jen-Jen's hair when he snuggled up against her tiredly. "Hm...strange. Astaliare usually doesn't get so...heavily into helping others. Sometime I should probably meet whoever this Mew girl is, just to see what all his fuss is about." She giggled lightly, and watched as Jeannot closed his eyes. "Oh, apparently it's Jeanny's afternoon nap-time." Glancing towards the lake, she smiled. "Care for a swim after you're finished..?"

"Truly an honor meeting you as well. Take care." Byakko shook his hand back and watched him leave with a smile on his face dark blue eyes glimmering. "There goes a man who has found someone important to him." He then smiled over to Raelen and looked to see Jeanny was now asleep. Byakko had been munching lightly so he was finished rather quickly and rose, offering his armored hand to Raelen. "That sounds nice." He smiled to her gently. Raelen was always understanding and kind, and even though he cared so much for her, somehow she was growing even more in his heart as time was going on.

Raelen knew that feeling. Even though she adored Byakko already, and had her heart set on him and only him, she was still falling even more in love with him day by day. Every moment she spent with him was another moment she found herself head-over-heels in-love. Gently taking his armored hand, she purred and lightly placed an extra blanket over Jeannot's slender body, before walking slowly towards the lake along side her beloved. It made her feel precious that he wanted to get her a ring, in fact, it made her feel very wanted for the first time in a very long time. "Mm...I just hope that she'll eventually find Astaliare important to her. I'm not sure he's built to handle heartbreak very well..."

Byakko offered his arm in a gentleman's fashion as his blue eyes stared out at the lake. "It is hard to judge a person that is unfamiliar to me, but if I might say," Byakko turned his face to smile to her. "If he has allowed hero already become so close to him, then I must believe her to be good. Even if things do not work between them, and he does get hurt, I trust Jen-Jen and you will be there to help him through such a troublesome time." He kissed her cheek. "You are a kind woman and I truly believe that you would there for him if his heart ached him."

The feline smiled lightly at his words, listening intently while her green eyes focused on the lake as they drew closer to it. Her tail flicked, the tip of it lightly curling, and she couldn't help but for a split moment wonder if the water would be pleasantly cool. Blinking, she turned her attention back to Byakko when he kissed her cheek. Gently, she returned the gesture by kissing his cheek before giggling softly. "Oh, Byakko...Sometimes I think you give me too much credit. I am not ask kind to everyone as I am to the people I've accepted into my life. I admit, not even Drake or Jen-Jen get near as much affection and sweetness as I give to you," Raelen said lightly, looking down towards the ground for a moment. "I do try to help those in need of it, though." The feline closed her eyes, for a split second feeling as if everything would fall a part, shatter like a piece of glass. She had already accepted her stubborness about accepting others, but she wasn't sure if Byakko would be able to accept it so easily.

Byakko smiled warmly and embraced her for a moment. "Thank you.. I truly feel special to be accepted by one who does not easily give her heart away. That is one reason I asked for your hand, because I knew if you had said yes, you would not forsake me later as I will never forsake you." He nuzzled her neck before he let go to stare at the feline. The hawk elder then moved away from her to slip off his gloves as it would be rather difficult to swim in. "I haven't swam in a long time so I might not be very good at first."

Raelen leaned into his gentle embrace for that moment that he held her, purring softly at his words. "Even if you hadn't asked, I still would have never forsaken you," she murmured softly. Blushing lightly at the nuzzle to her neck, she gazed up at him with her green eyes. Laughing softly, the feline shook her head and removed the veils that were hanging around her body. Lightly pulling her hair up into a ponytail, then swirling it into a bun, she shook her head. "Byakko, you need not worry about things such as swimming. If you start to go under, I'll rescue you." Raelen winked and slowly made her way into the water, ears flicking as she turned to watch him when she was up to her waist in the water.
