Shinku listened to what Saraneth said and told her afterward. "I'll watch for interferences, but I at least want to know what you're going to do to her... And how long are we talking? Is it going to take thirty minutes, an hour, what? I want your best estimate, and I want as much detail as you can give me... And if it would bother Hitomi, she still has the right to know, but it should be after this whole thing takes place..." He told Kestrel and then sat back, taking another sip from his glass of bourbon quietly. He had taken to drinking after he left the high school. But he knew his limit. And would make sure he never went over.
(Riyo, your pictures have a strange way with the eyes... They are either black or blue from what I've seen recently unless you close up to the face, and I haven't seen any Kestrel pics that are close to her face.)

(Got it! Thanks Riyo! Off to edit!) Hitomi blushed, quickly rubbing her tears away. She felt so childish for that, and very stupid. "I-I'm sorry!" She apologized, still feeling Shinku's arms around her. When she was being held, she felt... secure. She hld his arm, just so he wouldn't move it away, so that she could keep her secure feeling. She listened carfully to Kestrel, and nodded. She was fine, if she didn't actually have to go to her mother's grave, more or less the place where she died.
"If that's okay... of course, you wouldn't have to do this now. You could always do it later, if you want." Hitomi offered. Listening to Shinku, she only sighed, asking Kestrel quietly, "When you, um, bring my mom back... will she be in any.. um... pain?"

"Eh... let's see... It'll take a few hours or so... " Saraneth sighed. "It'll be a little strange, but it should be like sleeping. You might never even know your mother's been back. I'm going bringing back her spirit temporarily, just long enough to give back your sight and for any extra messages she might want to give you in your dreams." Saraneth was cheerful, but she knew there was something that she had to do to give Hitomi back her sight. It woudn't be a big loss, but it would be ridiculously wierd feeling for a few weeks afterwards.

Hitomi blinked, sucking in her breath as she did. She would... be asleep? And her mom would... be in her dreams? Of course, there were many things that she wanted to tell her mom, like what has happened to her during her mom's absence. Of course, it would be akward, but she almost felt like.... she was oblgiated to do this. Of course, she wondered if there were any side affects and what not, and if so, she wanted to be prepared for them.
"So, are there any... well, side affects after this happens? I would like to at least figure out what would... um... happen." Hitomi asked curiously, sighing afterwards. She felt her grip on Shinku's arm tighten a little, because she was nervous.
"Kestrel... Thank you very much... I will be forever debted to you for doing this." She said, bowing her head. Of course, she had said this already, but she truly was greatful, especially since she hardly knew the girl.
Hiro smiled, still being held in Kestrel's arms as he purred contently. He rubbed his head against Kestrel's hand, feeling his ears twitch. He gave a small giggle and a content mew.

Saraneth petted Hiro happily. "Side effects? No. I don't think so... unless if you count being able to see auras as a side effect. And no, you won't be in debt. You're going to pay it off by marrying Hawkboy over there and making sure he stays alive." She grinned. "Think of it this way. I originally owed him for saving my sorry a** when I was a novice, so really, you don't owe me anything. I'm paying Shinku back." She grinned. "When do you want to do this now? I'd say as soon as possible, since who knows if I might survive through the next few days?" She laughed. Assassins were used to talking about their own death.

"Well, um... We could do this now, if you want..." She suggested, giving a nervous laugh at the whole talk of death. Of course, she wasn't comfortable talking about, because she had seen how it happens and what not. She thought about seeing auras, however, wondering what an aura looked like. Was it colorful ir dull? Were they large or small? Very confusing.
However, it seemed that Kestrel owed a favor to Shinku, and so she was planing to pay it off now, and that Hitomi only had to continue with her plans for marrying Shinku. Of course, she wouldn't consider not marrying Shinku. It was insane to even think of that, however, things were going by so quickly. She will have not only encountered her brother, but her mom as well, today.
"I do have a question, though. Do you know who, um, Kleptos is? He was mentioned by my brother, and I wonder who he is." Hitomi asked softly. In fact, she wondered if Kestrel knew anything about her brother, Ryuu, that she didn't, like assassin information.
"I like being petted!" Hiro replied chipperly as he felt Kestrel's hand stoke his head continuously.

Saraneth was silent for a moment, but she continued to pet and cuddle Hiro. "... well..." She sighed and sat down with Hiro still cradled against her chest. "I don't really think I should talk about it... the Gyrfalcon's asked me to refrain, as a favor... She doesn't like it when anyone but Kira and I delves into her past, even if it is slightly. All I can tell you is that she doesn't like Kleptos, but Kleptos liked her for a while." Sara sighed, "Well... I probably already said too much there... but in any case, it's not a pretty story. I don't even know all the details of it. It's the Gyrfalcon's choice whether she wants to unearth that memory or not. Now. About that spell..."
Saraneth was eager to change the subject. She kissed Hiro between the ears again and set him down. "Sorry, Hirohiro. You're going to have to keep away from me for a while. I don't want to hurt you by accident if you get caught in my spell. I'd rather you stay alive, it's more fun to cuddle you that way." She smiled sweetly at the cat. She loved cats, although she did remember that Rivera pretty much acted like one. That's why she loved Rivera so much. Oh well... Some people just didn't appreciate bi-sexual people and their range of freedom.
"Shinku, make sure we don't get any interferences, okay? I'm going to let Hitomi sleep once the spell gets started. And from there on, no interferences..." She requested softly as she began to draw symbols in the air in silver-white light. "It should take about three hours... maybe four... but it'll be permanent."

Hiro meowed sadly as he was put down, though he didn' feel like dying. He still had his whole life ahead! He was only.. oh, 20 years old. Not too old, but not very young either. He shrugged anyhow, his tail flicking back and forth and his ears twitching every once in a while. "Good luck, Kestrel! Keep her safe, please!" Hiro chirped, grooming himself shortly after. "But, um... I'm gonna be by Hitomi. I feel like I gotta."
Be safe, Mi-chan...
Hitomi listened carefully to Kestrel and she sighed. She was tired, anyhow. Mabey sleep would do her good, anyhow. She felt something soft aginst her hand, guessing that it was Hiro. He was next to her, just like he said he would be. Of course, he wouldn't let himself get hurt, but he wouldn't leave her alone. After all, they were friends. "Thanks..." She whispered, letting out a sigh. She closed her eyes slowly, yet not completely asleep. Good thing that this whole event... was in a private area...

Saraneth closed her eyes as the final spell was written down. The writing alone took a full half an hour. A single mistake could be fatal to the spell caster. Sara had been extremely careful in the writing process, and that concentration alone was tiring, having to look at fuzzy glowing lettering while keeping up fast enough so the spell doesn't fade from inactivity. Sealing the spell with a wizard's knot, which looks like a figure eight, she sighed and looked over her work... it looked like calculus, because most written magic took the form of similar equations and balances. Now came the hard part.
Saraneth clasped her hands in front of her, the jeweled silver cross around her neck between her fingers. In a quick, silent prayer, she asked forgiveness for her play on life and death, and reasoned that it was done for future good, hoping that the greater force might condone her actions. The spell fell into place when she mentally initiated it. The room went pitch black, with only a tablet of silver lettering floating in the air, quickly dispersing around them in incandescent symbols. Time to call down the spirit. This task would take at least an hour or two to complete. At the end of the time, the dream will start, and Sara would have to be on full concentration, or else her soul would be replaced by Hitomi's mother's while her own was taken elsewhere.

Ritsuka maneuvered through the crowd with ease. His tiny body swerved inbetween the people easily, quite a few times rubbing against them on accident. The black lights flashed over head and music pumped loudly, ringing through his violet tinted ears. A purple tank hugged his chest tightly, small butterfly imprints covering it. Two belts hung around his slender waist, indigo shaded pants clinging to him legs snugly. Ear rings hung from one ear and studded his violet tinted tail. Sweet, magenta shaded eyes glanced around in excitement. This is what he was used to.

Keilantra stood on her toes, darkened yellow eyes scannning the crowd. She wasn't here to watch the cars and wallow in the excitment. No, her purpose for being here was much more pin-pointed.As she have a groan of frustration and clunked her feet down a sudden snickering was heard. The neko's large white ears twitched as she quickly began to climb through the crowd. It wasn't her intention to push people out of the way, it just seemed to happen that way.Brushing pass drivers, fans, and a slightly small neko, she began to regret comming this way.A few "Sorry!"s, "My bad."s, and "Won't happen again!"s later, Keilantra stood behind two snickering nekos. The two girls, who looked much like the older one, seemed to be jingling car keys around."Hmm.Now as I recall, you two never did get your liscense. So, what are you doing with keys?"Keilantra quickly flipped the two around as their faces froze with surprise and dropped the keys."And to a sports car, noless?"A small smirk shone through as she scooped up the keys and folded her arms.Eyebrows raised in question, the two smaller nekos just gulped. One from a far away distance might think Keilantra to be the girl's mother, but in fact she was just their older sister, trying to keep them out of trouble."Now.Either we can call mom, get you shipped back home, or..you can quickly return these keys to who ever you took them from."

Ritsuka squeeked slightly as another Neko pushed him aside. He regained his balance, looking towards the direction she headed off in. Violet ears twitched back slightly in curiousity, drooping in a lethargic manner. Ritsuka resorted to crawling on all fours to make his way through the crowd to the bar. His tiny spine swerved and squirmed to make it, hopping up with an excited grin when he saw polished burgandy wood. Hopping into the bar stool, he ordered a mock tail and once again glanced towards Keila and her younger siblings. Keila looked his age, so couldn't be their mother. Glancing towards the bar tender, he gave a fang toothed smile and grabbed the glass with a soft touch. His nails were painted a deep indigo, seeming to be fake. Yet, they were slightly pointed at the end, proving they were real. He gulped down the drink quickly with a small squeek and a shudder. He then smirked, the after taste kicking in.

As Keilantra's sisters ran off, she playfully attempted to kick them lightly on their bottoms. They both looked back at her and winked then skillfuly twisted through the crowds.Keilantra, slightly exausted began to slowly walk over the hard wood onto the race track. She had never been very interested in cars so say, but, maybe she could have alittle fun herself.Nothing really exciting was happening at the moment.Drivers putting some kind of oil in their cars placing new parts in and starting their engines.Getting quickly bored, Keilantra shuffled over to a the bar, and hopped onto a stool. She had never tried alcohol and wasn't about to start now, so she simply ordered a coke and glanced around. She noticed Ritsuka who she had so rudely bumped into before. She would, if the oppertunity came, give her apoligies. But for now, she just tapped her fingernails on the grain of the bar counter and glanced around.

Ritsuka's tail twitched lightly, piercings jingling softly. The music boomed loudly and the lights flashed round and round. Oh, how that reminded him of one of his favorite songs. "Can't you see the sky turn black and brown? Can't you see the moon if flashing 'round?' he sang lightly, ordering another mock tail. He flashed another smile towards the bar tender as the martini glass was placed infront of him. Of course, the mock tail was an alcoholic drink. He was still too young to drink actual alcohol, so mock tails would have to do for the moment. He stirred the drink boredly with the toothpick after biting off the olive. He glanced over to see Keila had gotten to the bar. He decided to say nothing, his vibrant oufit flashing as the black lights worked their magic.

Keilantra's large white tail flicked quietly behind her as the bartender placed a large glass infront of her.The coke gave off a small crackling nose as it fizzed down. For some reason a straw was sticking out of it.She had never liked straws, what use was something that made a drink go through a little plastic tube, then into your mouth? So, being bored, Keilantra plucked the straw out and began to swirl it around.A small amout of what seemed like fog formed around it as it changed it to what people called a "Biscotto", a long stick with some kind of flavor in it.As she crunched down on the biscotto, she noticed the neko boy glancing at her.Her curiosity taking over, Keilantra turned her head and removed the biscotto."Sorry about before, when I bumped you I mean...that was you, wasn't it"Ok, so she knew it was him, who else could it be?But she didn't want to be even more rude and just assume things when their was a very..very small chance that it wasn't him.
