I get hooked with it when I was in 9th grade (it was in a year 2002) First time I saw Fushigi Yuugi showed in TV, I started fell crushed with it (I really love the artworks!) heart
Then, I saw another anime (year 2003) that had an exact same arts like Fushigi Yuugi - it was Ayashi no Ceres. Once again and now, I knew that I already felt in love with the artworks... 3nodding
Then, I began to search for the manga artist (her name is Yuu Watase) and always looking forward for her another anime/manga...
Now, its been for about 5 years, and I still addicted with it! 4laugh

About... 4 and a half years ago, I had just gotten into manga, but I was still a newbie (I was a Miyazaki fan, and I was getting into other things slowly). Manga was still relatively new to me (as I was pretty young, 11), so I didn't know where to get it.
I stumbled into an area with manga in it in the teen section of my library. The first 8 volumes of Fushigi Yuugi were there. I kept coming back and reading more until I read them all. It took me a while, but now I'm a total Watase fangirl.

Hmm, I guess It started my freshman year. =/ three-two years ago? I think I knew I was a fan when a trivia question came up in Sci-Fi Anime Club game challenge. Who wrote Fushigi Yugi, Imadoki, Alice 19th and many more? ...I knew the answer right away and was the only one who raised my hand sweatdrop Felt like such a dork lol
Fushigi Yugi was my first, and it was coming out monthly here. But I couldn't wait with a manga per month (Now I definately can't), so I went scouting through the manga shelves and I found Imadoki. I bought the first volume and realized the art was similar. That's when I found out both were by Yuu Watase. Talk about hitting it right. So after I finished Imadoki, I went to Ceres. It was also coming out slowly so I got a recommendation from a friend about Alice 19th. I finished that and continued on Fushigi Yugi and Ceres. They ending about the same time so i got bored and a little deprived. That's when Fushigi Yugi's pre-quel came out. I was still a little upset about the whole story plot switch. So I decided to hold off on the pre-quel. Then the shojo Magazine came out, >.> my friends aren't all shojo and fluff so I sometimes had to sneak peeks of the magazine, and that's when I saw, ta-da, Yuu Watase's most recent work of art and my current fave, Absolute Boyfriend. And this is where I am today. It comes out every 3-4 months now =/ but it's kept me hooked.
Sry, it's long lol XD. I haven't read any of the titles that haven't been released in America, so I'm a little empty on info about the other titles.
