Well, here's my plan: I'm gonna go repack up my stuff and hitch a ride to Kumori.

Apparently it's on the way, way other side of Gaia in the east. So it'd take about a week, maybe two to get there by land and/or sea.

Ummm there's a big ol' Temple over there, but I honestly don't know which particular spirit it follows. Do you know anything about it?

He shrugged

Maybe it's some kind of new city? Or maybe they just never wanted their city written about?

Did you know that an entire village went completely unnoticed for thirteen years because it was ringed by mountains that no one could cross?

He shrugged and began walking back to the Jackrabbit Inn, but before he went in, he remembered something.

He dashed two buildings over to the cathouse he had visited thrice now.

Yes? Oh, hello Theodore.

Theodore walked over and hugged her, then walking out he stopped to say something to her.

Thanks for all of your help, it was most appreciated. I'm going out of town now, but i'll be back eventually...

Alright sugah, i'll look forward to that.

She smiled, but the look of surprise from the hug was still evident. A couple of the other girls chuckled at Theodore's innocent honesty.

Theodore smiled and ran back to Ippi at the Jackrabbit Inn. Leading her inside, he went to his room and packed his things. He shouldered his crossbow and then looked at Ippi.

Now, to get myself a boat or carriage to go across the known world!

He said that sentence with a bit of mock majesty. But then again, he was going across the world, it may have been genuine.

Weapon show? Yay!

Theodore chuckled and picked up his bags. He then led Ippi back to the front desk

Sir, where can we charter a carriage to take us east?

How far East?

Kumori.

The innkeeper nodded and pointed out the door.

Down the street, there's a barn-sized building. You can get such a carriage in there. Word has it that the carriages are driven by air spirits.

Really? How fast are they.

You could probably get to Kumori in two, maybe three days.

Wow! That's pretty damn fast! Thanks a bunch sir.

Theodore set down a smallish bag of gold on the table and looked at Ippi.

Let's go.

Alexander merely stared at the girl as she spoke, seeming to not be pay attention. Yet instead he was merely curious, his right bushy white eyebrow raised up high. Not only did this girl claim the ability to understand chickens but she also claimed to be able to talk to them? It was all Alex could do to keep from shaking his head and calling her insane. Instead he found a new focus to keep himself from commented, looking further down at the girl's feet. His eyes focused upon the chicken who was currently pecking at her feet.

"Well, it seems that chicken feels left out. Haha..."

This was spoken with a tone of amusement as Alex whatched the chicken. Yet his eyes would soon move back up to the girl's face, losing intereast in whatching it. For a moment he would just stare, barely a second, then reached down to move aside the red material of his cloak. There hung a small brown sack, heavy and bulging at the sides. Yet from this would be drawn about seven golden coins. These would be handed down to Clet with a smile upon the elderly man's face.

"I enjoyed what little I saw of your show. Very well trained animals, I assume you are able to train others as well? Or 'give them love' as you say?"
