Adromelek makes his way through town to the seemingly blank brick wall that contained his rune gate. The runbe were subtle and invisible to all around save him, though the could pass through it by accident if they walked into it. He passes from the squalor of the demon realm into the Pillared City hidden beneath the great desert of the Earth Realm.

(I'm scared to. XD)

As Violent sat in the dusty bar that surrounded her, Midnight bond on her head, a small sigh past her lips as a thought came flashed through her mind. The pendants... hmm... maybe I should go after them instead of Durithill--not that he will change his mind that easily. Suddenly, Violent gasped outloud as she remembered what dear Midnight had told her. She swore harshly to herself, slamming her wrists against the bar-table, hastly getting up from the seat, walking out of the bar, an unforgiving expression set on her face. Raine...! Was all she dare think in her mind as she looked out at the dim-lighted street around her.

Looking left and right, Violent directed her gaze towards Midnight, a curled smile appearing on her face as she let it walk upon her arm, whisper something in its ear. The bird gave a small sound before flying off into the night. Violent chuckled outloud as she looked back towards the forest, then in the complete direction where the road continued. Violent sighed deeply to herself as she looked down at her shirt, near her chest where a string hung from around her neck. Taking the string with Violent's treasure attached to it, she placed it in her pocket. It was crucial that no one, would ever find it...

With that, she started to walk in front of her, where she had first seen Raine and the other man that she had been traveling with--with the blind sight--where the portal had been placed. Violent looked around, making sure that no one was around before taking her power, creating a portal, slowly stepping in, closing behind her the darkness that surrounded her. Her next destination... the Realm of Air.

Stepping into her former home, Veronica looked around, seeing her sister run back and forth between her and her parents. Once Hikaru ran by Veronica, Valentine took hold of her sister's shoulders and spoke softly with a touch of enthusiasm in her voice. "Hikaru Valentine! Relax!"

The little girl looked up at her sister with a pouty face. "But--but.." Her pouting was soon inturrupted by Veronica lifting Hikaru up onto her shoulders. A loud laugh of thrill and excitment filled the room. "Haha! Yay!"

Once Violent was out of Midnight's sight, the small bird opened its black feathered wings as it flew above the Demonic Realm, keeping it's gaze on whatever came into view. As the bird flew, the instructions on which her master had given him flashed in his mind. Bring Raine to the Realm of Air, where I shall be stationed. Bring her no matter what you have to go through. Bring her to me! Midnight let out small but powerful noises as it continued to fly, trying the best he could to locate the one that Violent had wanted... Raine... although Midnight knew that his task wouldn't be easy...

As Raine tepped out of the dark portal, she let go of Durithill's wrist and straightened out her clothing. Pushing some of her purplish locks out of her face, she turned towards the portal and waited for Durithill to emerge.

Durithill stepped quietly out of the portal and looked around at the forest surrounding them. He looked up at the now light morning sky, then down at Raine. "It appears they've left."

A bright light emerging from the corner of his eye, Midnight flew the other way, where he had came from. His eyes widen as he saw what he thought he couldn't... Raine! Midnight headed towards them with speed, landing down upon a tree branch close to where Raine had come from. Keeping his eye on her, Midnight took of flying once again, this time onto Raine's head, his eyes, looking down at her as he started to speak in his own language, wondering if after all those years in the past... if she could still understand what he was saying. Midnight finished speaking the instructions that Violent had given Midnight. Looking down at Raine, Midnight wondered if Raine would reconize him...

Raine rose her eyes to the sky. "So it seems." She repeated, before hearing agentle squak. Raising her brow, she noticed a black bird swoop down and land onher head. Usually, Raine would have swatted it away with a grunt, but it seemed.. somewhat familiar.

Raine would have backed away, but it was kind of difficult, considering the animal was on her head.. It's yellow eyes stared down at her in somewhat of a creepy fashion... She didn't know what it was saying.

Midnight saw Raine's eyes meet his. He stayed put on her head, gently beginning to squak once again, repeated his instructions, seeing that Raine had not understood. As he finished, Midnight flew off her head, but landed on the ground ahead of her. He tried squaking again but stopped as he knew it would be pointless. Midnight looked down at the ground then directed his gaze towards the man that appeared next to Raine. Midnight once again started to squak, this time, more out of control as he realized who it was.

As he had finally settled, Midnight flew back towards Raine, his yellow eyes staring deeply into her eyes. He flinched then came closer as its identity tag on its neck swayed back and forth against his neck, telling its name and who it belonged to. Maybe Raine would notice that...

"It would seem this bird wants you to go somewhere." Durithill said, staring at Midnight intently as if trying to understand what it wanted.

((Gah! Sorry I held you all up. We had someone come over for Exchange students, we're thinking of bringing one in from Austrailia!))

Raine glanced back at Durithill before kneeling down infront of the bird. It's name tag had glinted in th emorning sun. "...Mid..night?" She saild slowly, squinting her eyes to read it. "What do you think about this, Durithill?" She consulted him before doing anything.

"I think someone had an intelligent pet bird named Midnight and they want you to go somewhere..." Durithill said, repeating the obvious. He continued to stare at the bird.

Nargarensis had emerged from his portal in his own home. He then proceeded to his meditation room, a very quiet room with a hint of insence in the air. A single pad sat at the far end of the room before a statue of a great demon that represented inner calm and was supposed to help channel energies.

Most demons weren't spiritual and those who were mostly practiced in secret through fear of reparations but Nargarensis was different. Despite the horrible tolls of war and the carnage of battle Nargarensis found that through his meditation he found inner stability and was able to tap into amazing power through it.

There was a religion that he had heard about long ago that was very similar called Buddhism, but it required pacifism, abstinance, and ridding oneself of material things. Such things didn't appeal to Nargarensis which is why he turned to the demonic equivalent of it.

Nargarensis sat on his mediation pad and calmed his mind while trying to focus his energy so that it flowed through him with ease. He also took this time to reflect.

Durithill doesn't remember anything and has gone soft on us, this is unfortunate. Without his help this will be even more of an uphill battle than I first thought. Nargarensis delved deeper into his thoughts and let them consume him. What must I do first, gather allies or start to rid myself of enemies? A thought suddenly came to him, Why not both?

As the bird heard what the two had said, the bird started to jump up and down, squaking and it did, trying to notify that they were correct. The bird immediately jumped onto the woman's head once again, then looked over at the man with his beady yellow eyes. As Midnight looked down at Raine, it squaked again, trying to the best it could to make them understand. The Air Realm! The bird wanted to scream out, but even when the sqeaks became a bit clearer, Midnight assumed that they didn't understand. What else was he to do. He sure didn't want to disobey his master and let her down. No! He had to find a way to tell them what Violent had told him. But what was he to do? He was only a bird anyways...
