Our school is doing a very school oriented pne. Its based on the school mascot, a Chief. and the school colors. The first song is called Black and the last song is called gold. My director based it on some native american sotry about 2 brothers fighting. Its his own origianl compostion and hes gong to put some of the school in parts of the score so that our own school recognizes them. It a preety cool idea to me. The sad part is im ont going to be able to march it crying

ArkAngul We're playing Les Miserables... I thought it would be a drag, but it actually is really fun to play! along with band i'm also in choir and we sang Les Miserables for our spring concert and i absolutely loved it. my favorite song had to be "i dreamed a dream" not only because i had a solo really big shock that i actually got it most band people at my school can't sing worth a c***. anyways... our up coming theme for this years show is mortorcycles song list: born to be wild rough boy crazy train wild thing low rider

Ha, all I know is that we're doing a run-on for the first time ever (we have a very small band and a new director), and that we're NOT playing anything from The Incredibles, Star Wars, or... something else that was really popular in the past year, because that's what EVERYONE else will be playing.
We're going to be original.
Just how original, however, is a totally unknown fact.

our marching show will be awesome! it is called Dark Side of the Rainbow and it consists of songs from The Wizard of Oz and songs by Pink Floyd.

This year we're doing a show based on Clocks, the first number is called grandfather clock, it has a lot to do with technic, then second number is Hourglass, it's a ballad, very pretty, it changes tempo a lot, so its going to be very interesting to march this one. The final number is called Stopwatch (my personal favorite!), it has varations from both the first and second number, and some new stuff as well. 3nodding Should be fun!

(Since the director doesnt wanna end slow we go from Isnt She Lovely to the first few measures of Sunshine and end with along note!)

we're playing "Labrynth" by Key Poulan heart only movemnets 2-4 though because we have an 8 minute limit here in Texas

I don't know what our's is going to be called. Our band director wrote it so right now it is called
-Movement 1
-Movement 2
-Movement 3
I think it is going to be called Ritual.

Our show is entitled, "Courage and Honor". The colorguard are going to be doing a great performance, immitating and incorporating Gladiator-like things into the show. Our show is fast and wild. Even the ballad is quick.

This year we're doing a Queen themed show. It'll be pretty fun, the songs we're playing are:
- We Will Rock You
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- Crazy Little Thing Called Love
I really wish we could've played some like Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, or Killer Queen.. but oh well. It'll be fun.
The only question is the uniforms.. because last year our theme was Trains (played Crazy Train, Locomotive/I've Been Working on the Railroad, Night Train, and Last Train to Clarksville.), and everyone except the Percussion had to wear Train conductor outfits. So hopefully we won't be wearing any '80's rock clothing.
