The exit of the other dragon made Riku relax a bit, and she stretched her toes and fingers with small popping noises emitting from the joints. She turned and looked up at the gold dragon and shrugged.

"Are you sure she is even alive?" She laughed softly in a low and quiet, growling voice. The ground felt cold yet nice and smooth against her feet and childishly she played with the thought and the feeling, pawing the floor a bit then realizing her actions and resumed a more serious disposition.

*he sits out ther a while, then opens his wings and flys to the peak of the mountian, wishing to be alone, he looks all around the mountian and sighs*"alone in this world i am, good for nothing but putting souls to rest."*he returns to his vampire form*

Her stomach growled before she could politely decline and she had no choice now that her hunger was out in the open.

"Thank you," she said a little angered at her stomach. It was like it had its own ears. She looked around and realized she had no idea where any other chambers were, the place was so large and abstract that there was no visible evidence of an eating room.

"Lead the way," she said to the Golden dragon.

The Gold heard Lord Vampire through the mountain, a spell he had placed long ago. He sent a thought.

{*I assure you, Lord Vampire, that is only a friend of mine. I invited him for dinner. Believe me, nothing can even get close to these mountains without my say-so, let alone get to my home. Thousands of years worth of warding spells see to that. Won't you come join us for dinner? *}

He turned to Riku and Terk, smiling at the audible growling.

*No need, I told you, this chamber has no doors. If someone stumbles in here somehow through the portal, the only place to go is back outside. *

As he spoke, the room seemed to slide around them, as he moved them to the inner chambers. He kept the rooms sliding past until they reached the dinning hall. It was bigger then the first chamber, the largest in his home. It was large enough to hold all his kin, and still have room for more.
It was made of cut stone blocks, each larger then a boulder. The table was single piece, magically made to fit. No tree would big enough for a one-piece table in that room. The table was solid oak, dark colored and trimmed with red hickory. The chairs where the same. He walked toward a door set off to the side, speaking over his shoulder.

*This room is much too big for casual dinning, lets eat in the kitchen. I’ll see what I can whip up. Any preferences? *

*he sighs and looks around*"no my friend... it's not your friend i feel.... you'd best get the females somewhere safe. me and you are doing to intercept the beast before he can distroy another village."

Sigilos smiled distractedly.

*Nothing, Terk. Just some matters I need attend to elsewhere. I'm afraid my cooking will need to wait, however...*

A large construct entered the room; it was about half the size of Sigilos, made of metal, and almost silent.

*... I know that Lax can cook well, almost as well as I can. He is one of my constructs, I built them long ago. They keep the place clean and in order while I am away. Ask any of them for anything, and they can get it. Only Lax here can reach me outside of my home, however. *

He turned to Lax and gave his instructions.

*Riku, the dark one, would like fowl for dinner, preferably duck. Terk, the lighter one, will take whatever you choose to serve. I suggest the soup, I know you make it well. The rest should be in the larders. After dinner, please show then around the main chambers. The library, cellars, and guestrooms should be sufficient. I will be gone only a short time, I believe. *

Lax bowed, showing he understood. The Gold turned again to the girls.

*Please make yourself at home. I won't be gone long. *

With that, he disappeared into thin air, the same transport spell as before.

Lax spoke in a normal voice, but with a slight clicking to his words.

=Miss Riku, Miss Terk, if you would follow me to the kitchens, then dinner can begin. If there is anything you require, please, do not hesitate to ask. =

He turned and entered the kitchens, sending some of the other constructs to the larders for ingredients. He snapped his metallic claws, and a fire started under the stove.
