Firefly's ears flicked backwards for a second, rustling the string of feathers dangling from behind her ear. She gave a nod of her head then blushed lightly. It was strange having to have messages from the two legger infront of her be relayed to her. But oh well, she could at least guess from how she acted. "I see." Dark eyes watched Tashika curiously for a second before she nudged the small human lightly and giving her cheek a quick lick. A soft nicker eminateing from her chest.

Sibalto rumbled as she blushed, thinking it made her all the more beautiful. Glancing at his two-legger, he nibbled Firefly's cheek lovingly. "She does it almost as much as you, My dear... I suppose you'll wind up considering each other 'kindred spirits' in my tormenting... But she said she thinks you are lovely..."
Tashika smiled and murmured her happiness about Sibalto's companion into one of his silky ears, rubbing his forehead while she spoke. When Firefly nuzzled her she beamed, and reached into her teepee for the basket just inside the flap. A ripe red apple came to hand and she offered the mare the treat. "To friendship..."

The blush faded faintly as Firefly composed herself again. Her long two toned tail giving a thoughtful flick side to side a few times before she turned her head to welcome his nibble and return it with a quick tug of his mane. "She's not too bad looking herself...for a two legger." A cheeky grin seperated her lips as she tugged on his mane again a few times.
Her eyes quickly snapped towards the red apple the Tashika had produced. It's shiny surface seemed tantalizing enough and she hadn't eaten in a while. Lowering her head slightly, she bobbed her head before taking the apple and quickly splitting it in half with her teeth. One half remained in her mouth while the other quickly fell to the ground. It didn't matter though. The apple would still be good even with a little dirt on it.

Sibalto chuckled and shivered as she tugged on his mane, smiling as she accepted the apple and whickering happily when Tashika produced another apple for him. "Her herd does not like her because of the color of her mane... And her coat..."
He looked troubled for a moment. "So she came to live alone, and then, became my herd..."
He shrugged and nuzzled Tashika's cheek, biting the apple and splitting it as Firefly had.
This time Tashika was ready, and she caught the half, watching Sibalto crunch his and raising the piece she had to her mouth in a silent threat. He whinnied in outrage and she laughed, a free, silken sound, then rubbed his face and offered it back to him.
She was glad her bold stallion had found a friend in such a lovely mare, and waiting to hear what she hoped he had come to tell her... Perhaps this lovely mare was more than a friend...

After swallowing the first half of her own apple, she bent down and examined the other on the ground. Just a little dirty, but not too bad. Picking it up, she chewed it thoughtfully for a moment. Letting the sweet juices flow through her mouth. Another quick swallow and she was done.
She raised an eyebrow as Sibalto told her a little bit about Tashika. "Hm. It sounds almost like my own's story really. Cast out by her own kind. It's sad really that it happens. But there's not much you can really do about it. I'm sure she's glad to have you around though." Her tail flicked back and forth as she watched the two legger tease him, giving off a small giggle to herself as she shook her head a bit.

"Not nearly as glad as she is to meet you... She thinks I should have a herd of my own... My own kind at least... You... Are her dream come true..." He nuzzled woman and mare.
"I am sorry that your kind didn't realize how amazing you were... But I'm glad they let you go, or else I never would have found you...."
He rumbled low in chest and nuzzled along her neck. "And that I could not bear..."
Tashika listened as the stallion turned and told her a little bit about the mare at his side, recognized a kindred spirit as he spoke of her losing her own herd. She reached back into the teepee and offered the mare another apple.
"New herd." She mananged to mutter in the Soquili's language. "Our's..."

She smiled bashfully at the conversation at hand. A small piece of hair falling across her nose before she tossed her head so it fell back into place. "Well...I've never really had a herd of my own. The closest thing to that I would guess are the other Soquili that Atsila cares for. But I rarely, if ever see them sometimes.
Firefly sniffed at the second apple, taking it carefully and splitting it in half. One half still remaning in her mouth while she nosed the other towards Sib. His last words kind of stuck in her mind for a moment as she chewed on the half she had kept.

Sibalto shrugged. "She just offered you to join our herd... Well.. She more or less, just said you were part of it..."
He flicked his ears, turned the thought about in his head for a few moments, then munched the apple with a happy flick of his tail. "Of course, if you don't want to be part of our herd... "
Tashika watched mare and stallion, vaguely bewildered by their exchange of snuffles and soft whinnies. She watched Sib's ears flick about, back and forth, as he considered something. She waited for him to talk to her, knowing he would, and scratched his neck gently as he talked to the lovely dark mare.

Giving a sheepish grin, she nosed Sib's neck gently a couple times before flicking her tail this way and that. The feather attached to it fluttering against her rump. "I'd love to be in your herd." Her ears twitched a few times as she glanced at Tashika who had seemed to gain a bit of curiosity to what they were saying. Though she figured the two legger wasn't able to understand them.

"Oh good, one less bruise to my ego than I thought I would be suffering." The dappled stallion replied cheerfully, nuzzling Firefly and then turning to Tashika.
He spoke slowly, carefully, but relayed that Firefly was happy to be part of 'their herd' and that he was thankful his two-legger had asked.
Tashika smiled and rubbed his nose, murmuring she was glad he had found someone... And that the lady had decided to stay. It would be nice to have more Soquili hanging around, and the fact that Sibalto had finally found someone...
Well, that made all the difference in the world.

Firefly raised an eyebrow while tilting her head. Giving her mate a curious look. "One less bruise to your ego? But my dear I don't know what you mean by that!" A cheeky grin parted her dark lips as she eyed him carefullly. Ears twitching every now and again as she listened to the strange talk between him and Tashika.

Sib nosed Tashika, and the Indian wisely stepped back. The dappled stallion darted forward, nipped his mare's flank, then leapt away. He danced toward the teepee then away, heading for the river and splashing into the shallows. He pranced through the crystal water, snorting and huffing, daring Firefly to follow.

The sudden dash away took Firefly by surprise. Giving a slight bow of her head to Tashika, the muscles in her back legs tensed which in turn sprung her forward in chase. Long tail held high like a streaming banner as it flowed behind her. Eyes watching closely as he pranced about in the water untill she to had entered the water with a big splash, sending small waves and droplets everywhere.
Rearing up, she nickered loudly before letting her front hooves crash down into the river sending more water flying. A few lashes of her tail and she bent her knees so that her head was lowered. A small smirk on her lips as she took on a more playful stance.

Sibalto laughed and reared, hopping forward on his hind legs and then crashing to all fours. The water splashed up around him, painting his silver coat into darkened charcoal and ebony dapples. His bannering tail danced through the water like quicksilver as he crouched and prepared to play. He smiled, eyes glinting.
"This is your dance, My Lady." He murmured. "Lead on..."

Firefly's smirk grew wider as she watched him for a moment. "Really then? Ok, try and keep up." With a wink, she quickly whipped her body around. Her spin arching sideways as she twirled about. Tail whipping behind her as she sprang forward and landed on all four hooves before taking off through the water. Waves splashed against the bank as she raced through the clear liquid. Sending fish and other little creatures scrambling to get out of her way.
