He chose to wear his kimono, since he was going to meet the Otokage and wanted to look his best. He felt honored to take this mission, even though he wouldn't be doing much. They had their own security anyways, and so they were really just Kiri's 'eye candy.' The Fubuki were slowly moving up, and it was starting with Tenshi, though he couldn't say the same for what was going on back home. Tension was rising. He spotted Shinzu waiting on the docks, "Looks like we're just waiting for Batsu then? Sorry it took a bit, wanted to make sure I had everything." Everything was cleaned and presentable, from his snow white hair, to his kimono, black chakra gauntlets, and his geta. "Where are we meeting them at?" He had never been outside the village and so was excited to see the world.

Batsu slowly came walking from the grove on his way to the harbor. The boy was in no rush to go anywhere. Besides, the Otokage wasn't that important to him. Sure he was a kage... and could possibly snap Batsu's neck in three places... and could send Batsu into a a unrecoverable panic attack... or could do something so unimaginable that he couldn't think of it. Thinking of all those things, Batsu kicked it into high gear and ran the rest of the way to the harbor.
Upon arrival, he saw both Shinzu and Tenshi and that let him know that he was last to arrive. Not good. Batsu was never last for anything and it made him feel bad. The boy stopped near the shore and said nothing to the other two when he arrived. Hopefully no one would say anything as he looked off towards the sea.

"Come our ship leaves soon." Shinzu said as he turned to and began to walk towards the ship they had chartered. "We're going to meet them at a port in the land of sound. From there they will travel back here with us, and we will deliver the Leader of Otogakure to Mizukage-Sama." Shinzu said as they neared and then walked on to the ship. Once show to thier Cabin, a rather small one sporting six bunkbeds, three one two walls. Between the walls was a single porthole and a mirror diecrtly under it. To finish it off underneath each bottom bunk were three drawers. Overall it was very sparcely filled, but much better then having to live out in the woods. "Ok let's discuss our plan. Tenshi feel free to speak up, we're semi-democratic here. So who wants to start?" Shinzu asked as he sat on the bottom bunk of one of the walls.

He wasn't complaining, he just thought it strange. Tenshi followed Shinzu in, greeting Batsu on the way. He leaned against a wall and gave his first two cents, "Well seeing as we'll be out in the open water, we should probably keep watch. See our enemy before he sees us... then again, on open water it is almost impossible to sneak up on anyone..." He didn't wat to say too much at first, though he would give his input.

Batsu climed aboard the boat and maintained a stoic expression. But inside, he hated the atmosphere of the boat. It all looked a bit depressing to be honest. But he didn't say anything about it. "I agree with Tenshi. We have very little to worry about. They have next to know chance of attacking, if that is their choice to do so. Besides, I have little doubt of an attack that one of us CAN'T see. Shinzu and myself are long-ranged fighters and I believe Tenshi is a wind ninjutsu user. All three of us can fight back from a distance if it comes to that." Batsu shrugged. He wasn't really worried about anything. One wrong move and it was over for them.

Shinzu nodded for a second and considered what the other two had said. "Okay we'll keep watch from the crow's nest, switching out every once in a while. Since Batsu has the best vision over long distance, I want him up there first. In a few hours I'll go up, and then you Tenshi. Until then me and Tenshi will check out the ship." Shinzu said, issuing his orders for the day.

((Batsu's a BEAST in Awareness checks))
Batsu nodded as he got Shinzu's order and he immediately set off for the crow's nest. As he looked up the thing, he noticed a few cracks and splinters along the structure, but nothing too serious. The young shinobi climbed his way to the top and immediately began looking over the area. If any intruders were going to make their way towards the ship it wasn't gonna be easy for them... especially not for Batsu's keen vision.

Batsu ((Reaction: You see them...but...you are not quite sure what you are seeing. Down below floating in the nearby water is a...you'd hesitate to call it boat. It's more of a glorified plank with a flag post and a rather roughly sewn together pirate flag. Below you see a raft populated by...a rather bizaare looking selection of people, all of whom look rather perturbed. A girl dressed in what you can only describe as an appropriately suited foreign pirate captain, with a rather hungry look on her face as she stares at your ship. With a rather...animated call to arms, the girl seems to rally her....crew? And several grappling hooks fly up unto the side of your ship. You would assume an ambush...however as soon as the...colorful asortment set foot over the side of your vessel, three of them...appear to be attempting to strike a pose..)) Yoko dawned a rather confident smirk as her two most loyal members of her crew, the other two females, struck a dramatic pose on either side of her. "Alright yee swarmy dogs!!" she said in a distinctly unpirate like voice. "This is your first and final warning! Iffin any of you be fixin to have a pair oh balls step forward and parle with me!! Or else ya can pipe down the hatches and-" The rather laid back looking young man beside her raised a brow, actually giving their...victims, a small wave. "Say Cap'n, I don't think "swarmy" is actually pirate lingo." The girl looked at the man like she was about to hit him. "ARGH! Be quiet Eye candy....I mean...First mate! I'm trying to be intimidating here!!" "Sorry cap'n, don't mind me." "Ahem," the girl smirked once more "Now! Before you even make a move! Know who it is you face!!!" she cleared her throat. There was a period of silence. "AHEM!!" "Oh!" came the twin reply from the girl's on either side of her. A rather...bizarre blonde girl to the left of the girl changed her pose as though trying to up the drama even further. "From the farthest corners of the sea, we bring justice and piracy to all cross our mighty path!! Nin nin!" Another, far more...stoic girl, seemed to be unenthusiastically striking yet another pose in unison. "We bring great death and delightfully horrible suffering to those who oppose us, in a masculine fashion that is only fitting of amazing warriors such as we, zam." There was another moment of silence. Yoko turned her head slightly. "Henchman number 5!" A figure who, until now, had been rather difficult to notice compared to his companions, adapted a frustrated face. "My name is-" "HENCHMAN NUMBER 5!!" The man groaned. "Yes Captain... uh..." he rather pathetically struck a pose. "We are the pirates that other pirates tell horror stories about... Yoko then dawned her smirk once more. "Yes! That's right! You know us! For we are the dreaded Nippon pirates!! Terror of the high seas!!!" The first mate seemed to be standing by calmly amidst all this, and again merely gave a small wave. "What's up?" "Dammit Kai you're totally ruining our vibe!!!" Yoko : Hear them out! Diplomacy: 10+9 Roll: 1 - you don't even believe that they're real pirates. He didn't mind taking watch, though he wasn't sure how well he was at spotting things. He didn't care. It was exciting being in the open waters out on the sea. Until he heard thuds from the grappling hooks and a band of 'pirates' jump up from the side of the ship. He kept a keen eye on them, though he didn't draw his sword, even though he was having a rather eventful day. They claimed to be pirates, though they looked like a bunch of kids playing at pirates.
He had to admit the captain and the one with the dark hair had seemed to be pretty adorable. How much harm could they really cause? They were a bunch of girls... He had to almost remind himself of Masaraku. "Pirates, huh? I think you two ladies are a little too pretty to be pirates," he said pointing at the two he had 'noticed.' "What can we do for you lovely ladies?" At this point he would willing to do almost anything, especially the captain, with her long, red hair, and blue, sparkling ey-. He had to blink...

Shinzu was just going to get something to eat, that was all he wanted to do at the moment. But no, this ship had to get attacked... Anyway Shinzu now found himself on the top deck, regarding the 'Pirates' with mocking suspision. "If you're trying to take this ship over it's not going to happen.... This ship is carrying an envoy to the Hidden Sound Village from the Village Hidden in the Mist." Shinzu said, giving an unsaid ultimatum.
"Tenshi hush." Shinzu said, trying to quiet his subordinate. No matter that he felt the same way about the Captain, but that didn't mean he wouldn't fight her, more like just avoid her.

Batsu's eyebrow went up as he listened to what was going on. He was looking at these fools and jumped down from the crow's nest. The boy landed with a thud and stood erect, looking at these jokes that called themselves pirates. But as he listened to everything, he sided with Tenshi. The boy looked at Shinzu and said only a few words. "I side with Tenshi." These people looked more like idiots and his patience was wearing thin already. The goal was to go to Otogakure... not to entertain with a bunch of hooligans.

Even at the words "the hidden sound" the seemingly indifferent face of the youngest girl seemed to sour ever so slightly, her eyes narrowing. "Permission to initiate epic death upon these pawns of the Otobe swine, zam. They shall die painfully and horrifically as I laugh over their desecrated bodies....zam. Yoko however, looked slightly surprised. "Huh? Then these guys are ninja?" she raised a brow in a show of interest as she folded her arms in front of her. "The hidden sound...isn't that where you were from Yuki?" The smallest of the Ninja's indifferent monotone seemed to have as much venom as it could without actually containing any variation. "Yes, that is correct, zam. I, Yukimaru, bringer of great death and epic destruction, am of the true hidden sound...before it was corrupted by the Otobe swine, zam." "Oh wow! what a small world! So then you get to spread justice to the people who threw you from your home?" she seemed to almost swoon at the idea. "How dramatic!" "You know I hate to be the rain on the parade, but...shouldn't we...I dunno. Be taking the ship or something?" the first mate seemed rather casually indifferent to the whole affair, as though he was in a roughly good mood, but couldn't care either way. "Yeah yeah," The captain waved this aside, planting both hands on her hips as she declared their intentions. "Okay look! If you're ninja, then by the code of Pirates, I am obligated to challenge you to a fair contest of arms!" "Are you sure you're not just making that up?" Kai inquired with a raised brow. "I didn't even know that we had a code." "SHUT UP KAI!" The Captain regained her clam quickly. "As I was saying before my idiot of a first mate interrupted..." he pointed at them in an overly dramatic fashion. "We are pirates who have just recently...well, found themselves in want of a vessel." "We crashed it into some rocks in storm." Kai informed politely. "SHUT UP KAI!!!" Yoko seemed to then act as though she hadn't been interrupted. "So, since you seem to have one here, we challenge you for ownership of it!" "We're terribly desperate! We've been adrift for days and we're running out of food!" the blonde said with all the sunny cheer of declaring what a lovely day it was. "We were having to debate eating Henchman Number 5." Yukimaru followed up, "W-what!?" The apparently dubbed henchman exclaimed in a startled exasperation. "EVERYONE SHUT UP!!!! GOD! YOUR HARSHING MY VIBE! YOU GUYS ALWAYS DO THIS!!!!" the girl then calmed, and cleared her throat. "The terms of the challenge be simple, ar," she said attempting to sound...piratey? "Iffin you land lubbin Ninja win, we'll hand ourselves o'er alive, and yee can take us back to the land a Yuu and turn us in for the reward!! Iffin WE win, we get this here ship!! Iffin you refuse the deal a course, we'll fight ta the death and see who comes on top...course, even iffin you win, ya won't be gettin paid!" she sneered with a triumphant smirk, only managing to make herself more hilarious than threatening. "My, what a clever plan Captain!" The blonde complimented "Now either way we at least get rescued!" "Yes, such a masculine way of chickening out, I honor your efforts, zam." Yukimaru actually bowed in reverence, her face totally serious. "Not bad cap'n!" Kai patted the girl on the shoulder as one might a buddy. "Pretty smart!" "DAMMIT WHY DO I EVEN KEEP YOU IDIOTS AROUND!!!" she gave an annoyed huff, before puffing up her face revealing something of the spoiled rich girl of her past. "Well! Those are your terms Ninja! What'll it be!? If you got an ounce of balls," she looked at her pathetic crew. "You'd give up your careers for losing to these idiots anyway..." she put a palm over her face in frustration.

"Capture them alive, I think they just might be refugees that have been drinking a little too much ocean water." Shinzu said with a slight laugh to Batsu and Tenshi. "Besides blood on the deck will look bad." In a flash Shinzu was gone, and then he was right behind thier leader. Spinning Shinzu dropped to one leg, and knocked the leader clean off her feet. Even before she could react and try to land, he was on top of her. With one arm holding her her hands behind her back, and the other around her neck, Shinzu effectively captured thier leader.
