((No worries, to both of you mrgreen ))
If the general weren't dead, he surely looked the part. Amidst the explosion and the scenery change it caused, Cross definitely looked....different. His skin was pale, and parts of flesh on his face were peeling off (caused by the explosion no-doubt), blood stains were splattered everywhere on his withered form, and the hole (although not a full penetration) exposed internal mussle tissue and slowly gurgled blood every few seconds; and amidst it all something moved ontop of him, obviously whatever did move was no bigger than Cross itself but due to its coloration it perfectly blended in with the pools of blood ontop of him.
The pitiful thing let out a deafening shriek (possibility the only thing that would be able to tell of its existance), most likely in part that it's host was completely useless. However if such a statement was true, the thing would be deemed a parasite and if true then did it cause the explosion? If in fact being a parasite the only thing it had on its mind was finding a new host (and such was the case), the creature scurried off the body and (literally) zipped around the area hoping to bump into something that it could sense was alive. Although it could barely be seen, whilst on parts that weren't colored in blood one could deem the creature as a simple Daddy-Longlegs (except somewhat bigger) with piercing shards of teeth along its abdomen. Regardless, the thing was obviously blind as it bumped into walls at regular intervals, but would that make it a hazard or rather a liability?
Simutaneously, another pheonominon occured. The blood that spattered throughout the hallway started to bubble (although the bubbles themselves were no bigger than a grain of salt), causing the red substance to glisten a pale red; and although it would appear to be a mere visual effect it's true purpose was shrouded in mystery along with the creature.
Amidst the (rather obscure) events, something watched over the 'it' during it's recent showing of resourcefulness. The being was hidden in the shadows somewhere near the ceiling (most in part to be able to easily evade if it were detected), and chuckled at the enemy's recent comments. If only he could tell what really was going on, he thought to himself whilst watching the spider dart around aimlessly.

((aye, thanks))
<Recap> The thing let out a shriek and with that, even fools would realize that there was something alive. Bumping into walls, as narrated, would lead to a logical conclusion that it was blind. Such was the thrill of power battles. Neither knew the extent of the other's power. Fear, excitement, bloodlust, satisfaction, those emotions along with much more, seemed to show on the it's face however impossible the combination of emotions supposedly was.
<Main post> The metallic sand followed the it's guidance as though guided by a certain law that corresponded it to the it's movements. Sweeping and removing everything it passed through the it continued to swing his arm around creating havoc and damage wherever the sand went. His movements...almost seemed as though he was dancing?
"Ah, it has been awhile hasn't it Tetsado. Let's show them some moves."
The it danced, moving with grace and precision. Tetsado crossed the floor, the ceiling, the walls and yet strangely, not Cross nor Yami. An overlaping figure seemed to appear with hands around the sphere speaking words of strange value. And of the it, it seemed to move in a certain direction amidst its movements as it drew continually closer to Yami.
"hahahahahaa, this is a good day. Yes ma poupoee, wouldn't you agree? Oh yes. That's right. And that makes it all the more better. hahaha AHhAHAHAHAHAHAAAA. LETS DANCE!!"

((I'm back!))
Yamishiro's eyes widened lightly as the "bubble" started to disintegrate around him. The fabric of time and space ripping and tearing as it went. He closed his eyes as strange tattoos grapevined across his body in glowing, brilliant rivers of red. The dimension quickly sealing itself, or what was left of it anyway. With his energy focused on maintaining the physics of reality, the blast caught him off guard, sending him spiraling backward, his boots scrapping across the floor as he finally landed and his clothes staining with the blood that had been spilled across the floor. He glanced up, his eyes focusing on Cross, who appeared to have been beaten, before landing on Souloe whom had taken to laughing maniacally. He took a wary step back when he spotted the strange figure moving towards him and his wings flexed defensively, he needed to be prepared to move at any moment.

Well apperently Yami wasn't able to pinpoint Vermillion's location, and figured that Cross was dead; although it does seem believable given the recent events. Although this couldn't really be considered a duel anymore, since the enemy violated his no-magic rule (from what he could analyze at least).
The spider hearing of Yamshiro's presence, immediately darted in front of him as if trying to defend. The blood spilled on the floor slowly started to rotate around the three combatants (if you considered the spider as such, since Cross appears defeated) in a hurricane-esk fashion. The small arachnid gave out a warning hiss; again which could be used to locate the creature given its camouflage.
"Yami you don't havta get your feathers ruffled, the fight hasn't even started yet...unless you pinpointed Vermillion?" Although the voice was directed from the ceiling, it could've originated anywhere given the echo of the hallway.

Yamishiro narrowed his eyes on Souloe. "You best finish this fight before I have to." He said, keeping an eye on the figures around him. He stepped back lightly, letting Cross take over again. With Souloe nearly collapsing reality in on itself, it was time to try a new method of locating Vermillion's body. He brought up the portal in front of him again and pressed his hand to it, like before, the haze vanished and the scenery began to skip around rapidly. This wasn't the best choice for opening a portal under fighting conditions, but it was faster, if he could only locate Vermillion's body, then they could leave and focus their energy on the more important events at hand.

((um... you kinda skipped my turn in posting and auto hit... oh well, that's fine. I'll just keep going.))
Yamishiro had fell on Souloe. Yes, the it was essentially Souloe's body. He had recognized him and thus congradulations. The spider went forth to defend Yamishiro. The blood started to swirl. Indeed, this has turned out rather interesting.
Of Devonshka, did he break his own rule? One can not say that especially when the duel, by its condition, was not accepted in the first place. No contract. It was never a duel to begin with.
Devonshka's laugh never subsided. Though the eyes was filled with regret, sorrow and pain, the mouth seemed cruel and excited. His laugh was carried by the air towards the other two.
"Oh yes, finish we shall. Have you not realize what situation you two are in? Saiyanara little boys. Ritual complete!! heahahahahaha, Enter the Dark HELL!!"
The eyes flared with insanity as they widened with excitement. What did he m... oh. Immediately, the world around them became nonexistant. Or so it would seem. For every character within the field, they would perceive nothing from every single sense that they had, whether it be sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch, six sense or any other. This was indeed a dark hell. In this hell you can feel nothing, not even the existance of your body. The only thing you have left is your conscious mind but even then can you really be sure? Did you die? What... happened? If you did not, then what? You are 100% that you can not perceive the world or even your own body. Can you be sure you are moving? Or doing what you want your body to do? Can you even be sure that you have a body? Can you be sure you have not tripped and is lying on the ground? Helpless, yes, that would be the term to describe this situation...for most people anyways. Not even Devonshka's maniac laughter can be heard anymore. Enter the dark hell.

((The battle system is sort of a blindspot (I haven't exactly been treating this as turn-based, guess that why I kept gettin' knockked around xp ), but I never read anything about Yamishiro getting hit just the 'it' charging at him))
The being looked at the 'it' with a look of both confusion and anticipation. And then suddenly....everything dissappeared. The figure could sense nothing, feel nothing, and very well couldn't see a thing; all the senses had effectively dulled out.
He knew it would take awhile before the 'it' would be able to locate him, but it would mean a different thing for Yami; yet he had no skills that cancelled out illusions (although it may be different for the other demon). He could feel himself try to say something (or did he think he was feeling it?), yet he could hear nothing.
The figure stared out into the darkness (or did he think he was staring), and amidst the darkness he saw something (or did he think he saw something) yet what he saw didn't exactly have a shape or form but rather a movement. But what use would detecting movements do if his senses didn't work.

((hmmm, o, should we keep with the turn base system then? Or does it not matter? guess I'll make a post first, if you guys want a turn system, tell me, if not, that's fine too.))
They have all been engulfed in the dark hell. Absolute zero. Can the being see or detect even movement? Nay, that is not possible, not in this dark hell.
Senses gone. That includes everyone, including the body that executed it. Immediately after the dark hell took effect, Devonshka replayed his memorized routine. A power field to begin the sequence. Yet, what did he do? What would everyone else do? In this place where you can't even feel the presence of your own body what Can you do?
((ah, I was thinking back and I thought that there could be a misunderstanding. When I said turn based, I meant posting, not IC realtime))

((I wasn't on yesterday 'cause of the Superbowl [GO COLTS!]))
How could such a skill possibly benefit anyone? Judging by the intensity of the effect in which the darkness caused, the skill must've effected everyone in range (including the user). Yet if such a thing was true, then what purpose would it have?
The figure stared at the small ripples in front of him (although he knew they were under him, recalling of his location), and in a matter of seconds pin-pointed its cause. All this skill did was cancel out the senses, everything else remained intact; by simple common-sense he knew that the ripples were caused by that spider he summoned (although not technically a sense, he did have a small mental-connection to it), so if he could syncronize the spider's random movements with his memory of the area it could be possible to gain a basic idea of the surrounding (with extreme emphasis on could), or better yet if the spider bumped into the 'it' and carried out its function then he'd be able to trace the foe's steps regardless of whatever happens. It wasn't the most crafty of ideas, but it was the only thing he'd be able to do at the moment.

((I'm wondering if I should wait for Blondeshadow for her post before mine... since there's no turn post system I dont' think it matters as much and yet...oh well, I'll just post and if anyone wants otherwise just tell me in their next post))
Unfortunately, Deepzzz' character could not have made that conclusion for the reason that he had to have sensed the ripple for that chain of logic to pull through. Yet, all senses were rendered nil, useless in this dark hell.
Should anyone be able to see, which was impossible given the current circumstance, they would see Devonshka's cruel smile. "Oh yes" it seemed to say. The memorized sequence should be well on its way. Why indeed would anyone execute such a thing? Yes, it affected the user as well. So why did the user summon it? Was it to any purpose? Was it beneficial? If there wasn't, then was he merely stalling for time? If there was, would they figure it out before it is too late? Or is it already too late?
