[From Dead Woods]
Jacob was looking forwards to a ride back. His jacket was normally restrictive and heavy, as was most of his gear, but now that it was wet (as was...all of his gear) it was a downright pain. His spiked buckler's weighed heavy on his soaked arms, and his partically cured, splinted trenchcoat felt like it was full of throwing knives (OOC humor, harhar).
It was like this that he stumbled into the clearing. His face didn't react to the slaughter and devestation: he knew exactly what he'd find. The smell of burning and burnt gasoline mixed with that of the fields, to be utterly unsurprising. He'd hoped he'd find SOMETHING of value here, but there was nothing.
The ATV had left, the Jeep was gone, and the truck was...back a few miles and underwater.
Jacob sighed, kicked a piece of debris, and turned to the path, listening to his clothing squeaking as he walked.

"What a mess..." the driver noted through the tight lipped silence of the other soldiers as the APC rolled into the burning area, heading quickly to the plains as the heat was relatively unwanted.

By this time he had switched arms, just balancing himself was getting to be a pain. Too bad sitting wasn't an option with a sword on his back.

Blazing Planes ->
The APC entered what remained of the fuel depots and unloaded its passengers.
Most of the soldiers began to fortify the area, seeking places to take cover as they would wait for supplies from the camp to arrive and secure the bridge.
The bridge led to the Lakeside Ruins on the other side, where the enemies were located and gathering. The bridge itself, was one of the few ways to pass the large body of water from the ewast to west shore.
When Athan headed off on his own towards the Ruins, Ji Long had to follow. It didnt matter how strong he was, for strength in numbers was always a large factor.
"Fourteen, watch my back." he said into the communications system as he headed off to the ruins. Fourteen of course, would turn on his goggles, and ready the rifle.

[Entrance: Field of Stumps]
A convoy of trucks rolled in to the depot; the place had been burned and battered the day before, and little enough of it remained... though it was still a strategic point, and still served well enough for a staging ground.
- 12 Guards.
- 20 Goons.
- 10 Workers.
They climbed out of their vehicles.
- 2 Flatbed Trucks.
- 2 Bulldozers.
- 1 large Backhoe machine.
The men spread out around the area, trying to salvage the buildings that still stood, and to ascertain what remained in the supply shed.

The guards and many of the goons stayed behind with two of the workers in order to repair and defend the buildings that made up the depot.
The rest of the convoy headed towards the lake.

With the addition of the supply team and guards working to secure the area, the remainder of the UGH forces began moving out, led by Fourteen, across the debris of the dam over the Rocky Lake.

Ten of the guards remained behind to take care of the Depot.
The other two, and the ten goons that had remained, headed out towards the lake...

Their truck pulled into the depot, Athan hopped off the side and jogged forward, motioning for the truck to pull over to the side as the rest of the miners caught up to them. Meanwhile, Athan headed over to the workers already stationed there.
"Looks like you guys could use some help."

The Command APC which followed the truck rolled into the area as UGH soldiers began to fortify the surroundings.

About now Quin was really wishing for a bath, or a shower, or perhaps just a spicket of clean water. Out of the swamp Quin looked a mess, but upon coming to the depot he waved.
Though they pointed guns at him he remained calm. They had to guard the area after all, but they checked his name against others and he was eventually allowed closer to the structure.
"Damn, good to see the fires out at least."

Moving in from the Dead Woods, Hein plodded along with Sam on his back, the UGH soldiers moving ahead as he caught the glimpse of the familiar shack and garages.
"...thank God...civilization. Men. Regroup and refuel! And miss...would you please get off my back now?"
Smiling in embarassment, Hein laughed quietly as he stopped in mid-stride near the guard shack.

The goons hopped off the truck, which looked neat next to the two simmilar trucks that were parked there.
TROOPS:
- 10 Guards
- 30 Goons
- 1 Worker
Of these, twenty goons and five guards headed towards the lake.
