Miranda walked into the quiet room, loving the serenity of coming here. She headed for the books on muggles. She fingered the spines of the dusty books on the top shelf. She found what she was looking for in "An Expedition in Muggle Music" ((yes I did make that up)).

Miranda sat in a chair fingering through the pages on woodwind and brass. The detailed picture of a flute almost made her cry. Before meeting Emily she had never missed her instruments she had left behind, now she felt an amazing longing to play her flute or her oboe or well any of them... Taken with a sudden idea miranda returned the book to the shelf and headed for the seventh floor ((cont. in room or requirement if anyone cares))

Feral slipped quietly into the room, so as not to disturb the other students. Here, at least, she would be allowed to concentrate. She wondered what other students might be looking at, and decided to go in search of her own book. She liked to read anything she could get her hands on; the more she knew the better. She wanted to one day be the most powerful witch there ever was.

Feral sometimes wondered if she was getting in over her head. The craving for power was almost unbearable. If only she could get her hands on some of the forbidden texts, she'd understand more. She wondered what it was like to hold so much power over everyone. She'd heard of a great, but horrible wizard that lived many years before and wondered if her future held the same fate. Though she tried to follow her own morals that seemed right in experience, something lingered in her heart. Every now in then she was reminded of something dark tugging at her heart, shaking her up from the inside. Could that be the beginning of what true power means? Letting yourself over to something completely out of your control, and hoping it would guide you right? She let out a deep sighed and turned the pages of one of the books she had grabbed for some reading. When she looked up for a moment, she noticed the people around her and oddly felt someone else's presence nearby, but hidden.

Lynn walked around the libary, not sure what she was looking for. Just some new book that looked interesting to read.

Ginny walked in quickly, feeling guilty about the time she'd wasted... She could have been doing some of her homework, or catching up on the subject where muggles were concerned..
The only she knew about muggles was that they were dispised by her family, which was not really the thing she wanted to know..

She lowered her pace when she stepped in, at a glare from the Librarian, as she headed over to the muggle section..
She didn't actually feel at all like reading..
Maybe she could morph later on in the evening, that would probably make her feel loads better..

Often, Feral felt the desire for a common bond. She yearned for a friend to share secrets with, make trouble with, and practice spells with. No such luck had happened in all the years she had attended Hogwarts. It was now her 6th year and she still had no one to call friend. She figured it was about time she stop being so detached and actually converse with her peers, but most of the time she was too confident or cynical for anyone to want to pay too much attention to her. Momentarily, she was interupted from her thoughts by that familiar darkness in her heart. One moment, she was staring at the people around her, imaging them dying from one of her spells, and the next she was totally overwhelmed by even considering such things. If only someone could just sway her the right direction, then she might turn out a half-decent human being and a great, powerful, and just witch.

With her hands full of books Lynn walked to a table. She was almost there when she lost her balance and fell down. The books she was holding flew through the air and spread themselfs over the floor of the libary.
"Oh no." She sighed, picking up the books.

"Oh no." She sighed, picking up the books.

Feral was snapped out of her daze when a girl suddenly lost balance and books flew everywhere. Instantly, she stood from her table and walked over to help her. After picking up as many books as she could carry, she walked over to the girl and set them on the table. "I believe these are yours," Feral said, half-smiling. "Are you okay? You didn't hurt yourself, did you?" Feral stretched and rubbed the back of her shaved head. Sometimes, she wondered if she was too nice. But then she would always remember that she had other evils to adequate for her kindness.

Ginny had taken out some books, and dropped them off at a little table when she saw Lynn falling down, books she was holding shattered everywhere..
She moved over to help, but Feral had already beaten her to it..
She helped pick up the books, then gave a small wave and smile at both Lynn and Feral

Feral smiled back at the girl who had come over to help retrieve the books also. Wracking her brain, she tried to remember the name, but finally it came to her. "Ginny, right? Thanks...I mean Hi. I think I have you in a class, possibly..." Feral frowned at her own awkwardness, not sure why her normally srong stature had failed. Sometimes, she shouldn't speak. She sighed and hoped she would at least get decent response and not be ignored or scoffed at as per usual.

A silhouette lined the door way of the library before making its swift way inside. It was a woman no older then 16, her dark brown hair tied back in a spiky bun, Slytherin robes dancing about behind her as she strolled to an empty table away from others. Dropping her stuff she went about finding books. A few minutes later the woman came back with three large books. Taking out a notebook and quill from her bag she flipped though one book before writing with swift movements. The woman, who has come to be referred to as Nanako enjoyed to library, because technically people couldn’t bother her without Madam Pince telling the person to be silent. Her head bent forward, supported by her hands as she pours over the potions book. Her lips move as she silently recites the words. Outside the library, she is arrogant and unkind just because she’s mute. But in the quiet sanctuary, Nanako is almost human.

Ginny's eyes twinkled, and she nodded, chuckling.
" Yuppers, that's me," She answered as Ferral got her name right..
She knew they'd never started a conversation, but Ferral was a slytherin, she knew that. ((correct me if I'm wrong, please!))
" More than just one class, I believe," She said, as she deposited the books on the desk next to her, and pulled her clothes straight..

Monique stepped up to one of tall ladders, and carefully scaled her way up. She quickly scanned the bookcase, then pulled out Asiatic Anti-Venoms. Slowly, she descended the ladder, but one of her feet slipped on the fourth step from the floor, and tumbled down. Uncharacteristically, she mentally cursed as the unmerciful fates allowed her to land on her wrist.
