Kibo grins maniacally as he pulls his katana out of a man's stomach.
Kibo: You should be right. Maybe I was just jealous that you got to kill Forn, and not me. But a captain doesn't run. Ever.
Kibo runs towards Storm, reaching for his blades.

Gwendolyn stared in wonder at how crazy her Captain was. But she stayed still a second too late. Someone had come up behind her, cutting a gash right across her back. Gwendolyn gasped in pain and swung her sword furiously killing the man with that one strike. Gwendolyn looked around her. There were a lot less villagers now. 'Almost done' she thought to herself.

Kibo: Gwen!
Kibo grabs the blades, and quickly crosses them, calling out a massive amount of spirits. Kibo drops to one knee, panting hard.
Kibo: Whew... So many... spirits... So tiring...
The spirits run at the villagers, making them scatter. Several spirits chase after the men, and screams can be heard through the streets.
Kibo: *huff puff* Okay...
Kibo uncrosses the blades, and stands up slowly, wobbling from exhaustion. He crosses his blades one more time, calling out Barret.
Kibo: Barret... take Gwen... back to... the... ship...
With that, Kibo falls back to his knees, his breathing labored from exhaustion.

Gwendolyn coughs out blood. She gets up and tries to stand as straight as possible.
It's okay. I'm fine. Order your spirits to fight not tend to me.

Gwendolyn again coughs blood and falls to her knees. She picks herself up holding her cutlass in front of her.

Kibo stands up, staggering, and walks over to Gwen.
Kibo: They're all gone. Congratulations, you've just helped in the eliminating of a village. Now, you need medical attention. Coughing up blood is not good. Barret! Take her to the ship!

Nevermind about me. You're wounded.
She points to a spot where there was a severe cut. Gwendolyn put her hands in front of the wound almost touching it but not quite and closed her eyes. There was a soft light that illuminated her face and her hands and when the light had gone Kibo's wound had been healed. Kibo stared up at her in amazement. Gwendolyn smiled. Suddenly she broke into a coughing fit. She fell onto her knees clutching her chest. Still on the ground and gasping for breath she spoke.
Yes Captain, I can heal people. Cough. Cough. But it costs. While my sister was the one with cunning, bravery and wit, I was the one with the magic powers. I could heal and do other things like stop a hurricane. I didn't even know I had them at first. But Mary helped me strengthen my powers.
~Flashback~
Gwendolyn and Mary are both on the deck of Mad Mary Rackham's ship. Gwendolyn was on all fours coughing. When it was over, Gwendolyn spoke.
Why? Why can I heal other people but I can't heal myself? Why must it hurt to use my powers?
It's the price you have to pay for having those powers. EVerything good in life costs something.
But I didn't want to have these powers!
I know. But there will be a day when even I will have to pay the price for the sins I have committed. Nothing in life is free, sister.

Kibo pulls Gwendolyn upright, and walks past her. He stops right when he's past her.
Kibo: I'm sorry.
Kibo slams the hilt of his blade into the back of Gwen's neck, knocking her out. He catches her as she falls, and carries her over to Barret.
Kibo: Like I said, take her to the ship.

15 minutes later, Gwendolyn wakes up below deck. She sits up staring around her in confusement (?confusement..i forget is that even a word? o well...). Then everything comes back and a pain in her neck comes up.
Curse him. This is how he thanks me. Now I have this pain in my neck to deal with and I can't heal that either.
She makes toward the stairs but stops and falls onto her knees as another fit of coughing comes over her.

Kibo drops belowdecks, and walks up towards Gwendolyn.
Kibo: I'm sorry, but you were delusional. You were seeing men that weren't there. I had to take you back. Don't worry. Ralcheck over there *gestures towards a spirit* took care of the internal injuries. Here...
Kibo hands Gwendolyn a bowl of warm water, filled with medium-sized leaves.
Kibo: Put these on your neck. It'll help with the pain. You'll be fine.

Gwendolyn knocks the bowl out of his hands and it falls to the floor breaking into a hundred tiny pieces on the floor. She gets up. Her irises of her eyes turned red like a cherry.
I was not delusional. And nothing can heal the internal injuries I have. Nothing. No spirit can heal that.
She marches up to the main deck.

Ralcheck walks over.
Kibo: Just... hit me, as hard as you can, across the face. I deserve it.
Ralcheck winds up, and slams a fist into Kibo's cheek, sending him to the ground.

Gwendolyn leans over the rail looking down into the sea.
I lost my temper again. I have to remember what Mary said.

Gwendolyn follows the voice and meets her sister leaning on the rails waiting.It's time to spread your wings, Lyn. There's someone I want you to go to where you can learn all about your powers.
But I thought you said things we better left unknown.
Yes, there comes a time when the truth must be revealed.
Okay, But how will I know where to him this person?
I will guide you. Now spread your wings and fly!
Wings sprouted from Gwendolyn's back and soared off into the horizon.

Kibo places his hands on the ground, and hauls himself up to his feet.
Kibo: *rubbing his cheek* Thanks, Ralcheck.
Ralcheck: Anytime, sir.
Kibo: Hey, watch it.
Ralcheck: Sorry, sir.
Kibo sighs, and waves it off, walking abovedecks.
