Kaicho blinked lightly at Lorelai and slowly shook her head, laughing quietly. "Umm...no, it's more simple than that, I think," she explained, tilting her head and smiling politely. "My nervous system has been acting very strangely. Normally it doesn't wig out on my so much, but today it's made me go haywire and act like I'm absolutely nuts. I was wondering if perhaps someone here could help me find a way to fix it?"

Usagihana put the security program on standby. "If I can get Rivera over here, she'll just channel a stablizer to you directly." Usagihana muttered. "Well, that is if you don't have the ability to control technology with your mind." Usagihana shook her ears and blinked. "Or you can just have Lorie do it."

"That would be helpful, thank you," Kaicho said, nodding avidly. "When I was made my creators didn't put such a thing in me. They thought the kinks would work themselves out as I developed more over time..."

Usagihana's ears stood up, picking up waves of electrical energy. "No go. Rivera's still taking her star test. It will take a while... her life functions are actually pretty bad. If she doesn't live through this, you'll just have to stick by some other means." Usagihana shook her ears to clear up the connection to ambience status again. She stood up, "I'm going to set the security system here in two hours."

"Nervous system, eh?" Lorelai asked, looking the girl up and down curiously. The way she was eyeing her up was probably something halfway between looking at a piece of meat and looking at a potential science experiment - and of course, she was smiling just as cheerfully as she always did. Nodding and clapping her hands together, she gestured to one of the work tables in the room. "Well then, let's have a look at you," she said, motioning for the girl to lie down on top of the table. Without waiting for a response, Lorelai cracked her knuckles and began pulling out all manner of tools, scanning devices, and other assorted odds and ends.

Kaicho grinned and nodded to Lorelai. "Thank you, I appreciate it," she said as she moved onto the table and promptly laid down. It was obvious she had been through procedures like this before. "My nervous system usually isn't this bad. The only thing it's done is little personality and mood glitches, but now I'm having memory and functioning problems."

Lorelai nodded, smiling as she lined up all of her tools on the operating table. Grabbing a small device with a flashing red light and a display screen, she began running it back and forth over the girl's body, paying close attention to the readouts and watching for any anomalies in the nerve signals. Nodding a bit, she scribbled down a few notes on the pad of paper sitting next to her on the table.
"Okay!" she announced, clapping her hands together. "I think I've found the problem. We can get started right away if you like." Picking up a scalpel, she twirled it around deftly in her right hand as she smiled back at the girl. "Shouldn't take more than a few minutes or so."
((If you have something in mind for what's wrong with your character, you can send it to me in a PM. If not, I can just as easily make something up.))

{Anything you wan to add in is fine by me. ^^}
Kaicho looked up at her and smiled softly. "Thank you. And it'd be best to get this fixed soon before it gets worse, if that's okay?" she queried, tilting her head to the side as her frizzy pink air fuzzed out a bit more.

((Please refrain from using one-liners or anything close... it's not safe!!! Kurai's zombies will eat you alive and give you a bout of Gaian STDs!!! eek So maybe not that bad... sweatdrop Thanks ^^))
Usagihana waggled her ears again, picking up Rivera's life force through here sensors. It was completely shrouded in death, but her sources told her that Rivera was still functioning completely, even better than before with more power. She checked the magnitude readings and found them at a massive peak.
"Whew... She must be Chaos Gating about now. Just great..." The robot jumped off the table and shook her metal body, rattling plates of shiny black steel with an eerie sound. "Now I have to help her find a new soul again. Why can't she learn? Hope she doesn't lose one of her lives... I might have to drag her out of the Chaos continuum... ugh... " She swished her leonic tail with a metallic crack and bounded off into the back of the lab to check things out.

"All righty, then," Lorelai said, picking up an electronic gizmo of some sort with her free hand. "I'm just gonna send a quick pulse through your systems with this before I get started," she explained. "You'll feel a bit of a sharp pain in your sides for just a moment, but it's nothing to worry about."
Not bothering with any further explanation, Lorelai touched the device to Kaicho's midsection. It made a quick metallic buzzing sound - almost like a defibrillator - as it sent a strong electromagnetic pulse through Kaicho's body, temporarily shutting down all systems except those necessary to maintain life functions. "Okay, bye bye!" Lorelai said cheerily, waving playfully. "When you wake up again, you should be good as new!"
Once Kaicho was asleep, Lorelai wasted no time getting to work. Quickly sterilizing her hands and tools, she slipped on a pair of latex gloves before gently rolling the android girl over onto her stomach. Making a few precision cuts near the base of the skull and along the spinal cord, she grabbed a few other tools resembling those an electrician would use, and went to work. After about fifteen minutes of fiddling around, Lorelai nodded to herself, confident that she had managed to correct the problem.
"There we go!" she said happily. "I think I may have actually managed to find a way to have this girl's nerve impulses flow even faster than before." Smiling confidently, she stitched up the incisions, applying some antiseptic to guard against possible infection. Pulling a chair over to the operating table, she sat down and waited for her patient to wake up again.

About ten hours later, Lorelai jolted sharply awake in her chair. Looking around for a moment, she glanced back to the unconscious form of Kaicho, still lying dormant on the operating table in front of her. She scratched her head a little, wondering why the android girl hadn't woken up from the operation yet. It wasn't as if she'd really done terribly much work - just a quick tune-up of her nervous system's wiring.
"Oh well!" she said after a moment, shrugging her shoulders and beginning to clean up her tools. "I suppose she'll wake up when she's good and ready to do so." After she finished putting everything away, Lorelai slung the girl over her shoulder, taking her over to one of the empty metal storage closets in the corner of the room. Kicking the door to one open, she stood Kaicho up inside it and closed the door again, making sure it would be possible to open it from the inside whenever she woke up.
"I guess that's as good a place as any to stick her for the time being," Lorelai mused to herself. "Can't have her clogging up the work area, after all. There are things to be done!" she said, smiling and pumping her fists energetically. "Now, where did that little bunny-bot get off to...?" Putting her hands on her hips, she started to look around for where Usagihana had disappeared to while she was working on the android girl.

Ginseku walked in rather bouncily this morning, accompanied by his friend Shinku. "What are we doing here again Gin?" Shinku scratched his head, and yawned. He was obviously bored and sleepy. "Were here to study some alchemy! I love to learn new things in alchemy, its an art I have yet to master!" Ginseku seemed rather happy, which was way out of his personality. The pair sat down on some stools, And ginseku pulled out a book. "Today Im gonna master the ability to transmute atoms of hydrogen in the air into raw water!" "How the hell is that gonna help you in battle?..." "Umm....oh yeah! I have water jutsus that i can use. That require water." "But why dont you just use that one jutsu that makes you spew water from your mouth instead of going through all the trouble of transmutation?" "Because I want to master Alchemy! And sometimes i wont have enough energy to perform that jutsu!" "Pfft, thats a lie. You always have, like, infinite energy because of that kekkei genkai of yours. But whatever. You wanna master it, then master it..." "Thanks for coming with me." "No problem." Ginseku opened the book to a page. And handed it to Shinku. "Read that process to me wouldya Sora?" "sure...." Shinku cleared his throat. "Sublimation is the conversion between the solid and the gaseous phases of matter, with no intermediate liquid stage. For those of us interested in the water cycle, sublimation is most often used to describe the process of snow and ice changing into water vapor in the air without first melting into water. The opposite of sublimation is "deposition", where water vapor changes directly into ice—such a snowflakes and frost." "Wait, it doesnt say anything about transmutation into immediate liquids?" "Nope. But Heres a thought: Transmute the ice on the battelfield thats left over after you use one of those new ice jutsus into raw water vapor, then use alchemy to cause a rainstorm. You can use an open range of attacks from water after that." "Hey! thats not a bad idea! But before I do, read some more from that book. I need a more in-depth understanding of how the process works." Shinku continued to read. "Sublimation occurs more readily when certain weather conditions are present, such as low relative humidity and dry winds. Sublimation also occurs more at higher altitudes, where the air pressure is less than at lower altitudes. Energy, such as strong sunlight, is also needed. If I was to pick one place on Earth where sublimation happens a lot, I might choose the south face of Mt. Everest. Low temperatures, strong winds, intense sunlight, very low air pressure—just the recipe for sublimation to occur." "So the key components to sublimation are heat, pressure, and absense of energy. Alright, stand back." "What? Why??" "I don't know how this will end up, so you might wanna move." Shinku was in disbelief. But he moved nonetheless. He knew that when there was something Ginseku wanted, there was no getting in the way. "Alright, go for it." Ginseku nodded, putting on some goggles. He snapped his fingers, placing his hands in the air. There was a small explosion, followed by fog. Shinku flew back from the sudden diffusion. And hit the wall. The pair coughed heavily. Shinku turned on the fan, And the smoke began to clear. On the table, there was a huge statue made of dry ice, in the shape of a girl. Fog was forming at her feet, and rolling onto the floor. Like the tendrils of a vine it crept across the floor. Shinku looked at his friend, who was covered in black smoke from the explosion. He removed his goggles, Which covered the only space on his body. He looked like a backwards raccoon, with a white stripe across his face instead of a black. "I did it!" "You sure did." "Hey! whats that supposed to mean!?" "Nothing, just that I didnt aprreciate the knockback of the diffusion too much." "Sorry. But it was my first time. At least it worked though!" Ginseku patted the side of the sculpture. There were several cracking sounds, and the sculpture collapsed and whacked ginseku on the head with a thump. He slumped over on the floor, a huge anime bump on his head, and swirly eyes @_@. Shinku laughed. "Though the quality is a bit questionable!!" After he had his fill of laughing, he helped ginseku up. "Hold on." He reached forward with one hand, and place dit on the bump. His hand glowd white for a moment, and the bump receded. Ginseku rubbed the spot. "Thanks.." "No problem!" The two sat down, reading another book.

Shinku Read off another process to Ginseku, And ginseku jumped out of the chair. "This is gonna be hard. Are you sure thats how The process works?" "Yeah, its exactly what the book says. The trees will absorb the posion completely from the water, and create a natural antidote in adaptation to the chemical." "Is you say so..." Ginseku formed some handsigns, and then stopped. a Small tree formed in the ground. Ginseku uprooted the tree, and placed it in a beaker. Then he took one of the bottles that said: caution: highly poisonous. And poured it into the beaker, followed by water. Ginseku snapped his fingers, placing his hands to the tree. The liquid level of the beaker lowered, and the tree wilted. Ginseku drank a small bit of the poison. Then ate one of the dead leaves from the tree. "I think it worked..." "Well, you're not dead. That's for sure. So I guess you got it right." "This was fun. We should do it again sometime Sora!" "Yeah, it was kinda fun. Thanks Gin!" Shinku waved, then left. Ginseku began to clean up the lab. Then looked around. Nobody was around, so he sat down in a chair. And began to Read his book.

As Keilantra made her way to the labs she gave out a releived sigh. She had been lugging around a very heavy bag, and was glad to be able to set it down.Struggling to push the door open she gave a huff.'Thank god....'Swing her shoulder the bag dropped onto a large table.Leaning forward alittle she pulled a large glass case, a small bag full of black pearls, a container of mood stones, and a large leather book. She figured this would be the perfect place to make the chain.Looking around she found a small pot.Dumping the mood stones into the pot she placed it over a small fire.Looking at the fire reminded her of the melted silver which reminded her of...'Love?....no...cant be, it just cant...'Keilantra gave a sigh and leaned against the table, waiting for the stones to melt.

Kumizu walked into the labs with a pencil case under his arm and his cane in the other. As soon as they heard the tapping, several scientists looked up and then rolled their eyes. However, Kumizu wasn't back to redo his usual... experiment.
Although he withdrew and opened the same box he'd used before, this time he took out only a few things, including two containers. He held his hand over the top of the first, and water flowed from his palm into the container. He then withdrew the contents of the pencil case. It was a piece of ice. It was in a D-shape, but looked small, not to mention the curve in the 'D' was a bit long...
Kumizu held his arm above the second container and put the ice on top of it. This was the tricky part. Not melting ice, but seperating two different parts. Namely, his DNA and another's. He slowly heated the ice and it began to melt, drop by painstaking drop. One by one, drops of water trickled down his arm and into the container.
When it was done, the amount of water in the container was considerably smaller than what it should have been. Kumizu had run it through a 'filter', of sorts. His skin absorbed the water it recognized, the water containing his DNA, and the other's was pushed away, and it trickled into the container. The whole thing had lasted thirty-three minutes.
