Unforgiven11 Kamiyu-Bidan So who knows what about the Dragon/Outsider? The Outsider is completely insane right? And the Dragon is basically the Machine God right? I cant wait till GW gives us more info gonk I Havnt heard of this 0_o Is it a model? or going to be in the future? Necrons are 1 of the 3 Races I Play 3nodding Yeah you remember how the codex explains about how 4 C'tan survived right? There was the Deceiver, Nightbringer, Dragon and Outsider.. No idea when they're being released but I do know that they are coming one day. As far as I understand it, the Outsider is somehow linked with the Tau.. Maybe to O'Shovah's blade?.. Im not familiar with the tau at all so please bear with me sweatdrop The Outsider's completely insane because he ate too many of the other C'tan, by the way 3nodding .. He should totally go berzerk and attack random squads (chaos drednaught anyone?) or if he could make an enemy squad go crazy and attack the nearest unit for a turn or 2.. Perhaps thats too cheezy sweatdrop The Dragon is definately on Mars, probably in the *somethingoranother*-labyrinth/maze/place. The techies there modelled themselves after the machine god (The Dragon?), right? That'd be cool if the Dragon was just this massive alien cyborg blaugh \m/ Ah well, there's nothing but speculation at this point. confused

I cant wait till GW gives us more info gonk I Have just read through the whole Necron codex. They dont mention the Dragon" at all as being with the Necrons. Well In one part of this poem type thing it says "The Vaul'Moon shall bring forth the Dragon" and then in another paragraph basically says its the machine god of the Adeptus Mechanicus. But the codes does talk about the Outsider, and Its gonna be great when it becomes a model. But i wonder who the fourth C'tan Is. And Actually there might be 5 C'tan eek It said " The nightbringer had feasted upon the C'tan Untill only 4 remained" It didnt say Including the nightbringer himself. But you never know, especially when they barely give you any information gonk

Kamiyu-Bidan http://www.librarium-online.com/lofiversion/index.php/t23389.html http://www.msnusers.com/TotalNecrons/ctanboard.msnwCheck these links guys. Whatcha think? They are a touch dated but they offer alot of interesting ideas. smile Wouldn't it be amazing if the Iron Hands broke off and created an entirely different branch of hybrid Necron/humans?.. Much to Cagalli's dismay! xd (something like the Witchhunters) I'm pretty, at least these these boards lead me to believe, sure GW is gonna have a new Necron campaign either in 05 or 06. And wtf is this about?! eek ]http://forums.portent.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=134294662Well, the C'tan are energy based life forms. This means that they'd fight each other to eat each other and become stronger, meaning a Necron civil war! YAH!

I don't think the Necrons themselves would be fighting. I'd bet the C'tan infighting would occur at a level above even the highest Necron Lords. They might be aware that _something_ was going on, but even then they wouldn't have the full info.

You know, realistically the necrons are no threat at all, even if it were against REAL LIFE earth. A very saimple solution for them is just a couple EMP bombs. hell, the EMP burst from a 30 kilo-ton nuke set off sixty miles from the surface of America would disable EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF electronic equipment in the continent!!

What nobody's sure about is how aligned to the Dragon the tech- priests really are. There's also rumors that the Deceiver is the patron of the Tau. The Tau have no warp signature, and their vessels only skim the border of the Warp when they go into hyperspace. The weapon O'shova carries does look somewhat Necron in design, plus the fact that it cuts like an underpowered Warscythe. The only question the above argument leaves is why Wraithguard (which are supposed to be unable to see in the same way normal creatures do and thence have to check for Wraithsight each turn) can see Tau at all...

And metals in 40k aren't exactly real, are they? "Ceramite" "Plasteel" "Adamantine" are some. Plus as they are built by the C'tan, the metal probably has some sort of energy field. Necrons have an auto-reboot system too. Unless you blow the b*****d into little bits to stop it coming after you, it's NOT an easy task.
