Floating on her back for a moment, she closed her eyes to catch her breath. She shouldn't rush herself, eventhough she was very hungry and wanted to get to the shore as soon as possible. Sano had just started swimming over as well.

Meji glanced over at Aya struggling with the water, he wished he could offer her some advice but he didnt know how to swim at all...
the least I can do is encourage her!
"AYA!!!! Keep going!!! You can do it!"
Meji was standing on the river bank yelling, he wanted nothing more than to see his team mates succeed.
"When you finish with this, you can teach me how to swim ok!"
After he was through yelling Meji preppared to try the jutsu once again, He knew it was crucial to his success as a ninja, the first step was graduation. He quitely made the seals and repeated the phrase in his head.
((2 dice rolls, the first is a charisma check to encourage Aya, the second is my Jutsu attempt check))

Meji flopped backwards with a broad smile on his face after completeing the transfer jutsu. There was very little more satisfying than success, and recently he had become addicted to it. He was so used to being the tag-along, the guy behind the rest of the group fighting to keep up. Everything was a fight for him when he was with his father, but in a good way. Never physical, but always something to work hard for.
"You see that Aya, I can succeed, so can you" Meji hollared out as loud as his breathless body could

Aya smiled as Meji cheered her on. She had to make this last stretch. Meji was practing his jutsu hard, she could get through this water by trying hard too. Taking a deep breath, Aya went under again. She seemed to have a better chance swimmin under water than above.

Meji watched Aya closely. He knew there was something different about her, just the way she acted, and performed. Something was definately special about that girls ability.
I wonder if theres anything special about my ability...
Meji decided it was his goal to find something special deep down inside himself. He wanted to be known for something more than his brains. As these thoughts swarmed through his head he began to prepare another attempt at the jutsu

Re-surfacing, yet again, Aya was out of breath. "Ha!" she gasped. These weights were more than she had expected. She would have to ask the water for help again. Going under once again, Aya used the water to help her move.

The girl's head nearly rammed into the wall of the river as she reached the other side. Flinging her arms up, Aya rested on the side of the river with her head laying on the grass. "That was too much," she told herself, rubbing her head a little. "But, I finally did it," she said with a more enthusiastic tone. Aya was more exhausted than she had ever been. Slowly, she pulled herself out of the water and rolled onto her side. "Training with you is tough, sensei," she told Koro as she began to take off the weights. Rubbing her ankles a little bit, Aya looked over at Meji. "How's your training going?" she asked him, her blue swirling eyes looking curious as can be.

"slow and steady, when you catch your breath, Im gonna need a break from this jutsu training, mabey you can teach me to swim a little bit?"
Meji infered with his casual tone. His kind eyes didnt reflect the amount of pain and pressure he was feeling about his training. The first of his clan, needing to make a name for himself, all these positive thoughts were starting to turn against him...
dont doubt yourself kid, keep up the good work
"Aya, watch!!" Meji clamored as he prepped for the jutsu

Aya crossed her legs indian style as Meji asked her to watch. She felt kind of bad when the jutsu didn't go through the way he wanted it to. "That was close!" she said with total excitement, eventhough his mood must've been a little dimmed. "This is the hardest jutsu ever!" she told him, shaking her hair to get some of the water out. "Don't give up though! I kept going really hard and I got it!" she said with a smile. "Well, almost got it....I haven't finished training today, but sensei said I had to take a break," she told him. "Do it again!" Aya cheered him on, as she stayed seated and watched.

Izuki had a hard time getting across the river the first time. He knew the added weights would prove to be a problem. Despite his knowledge he tried not to complain and used his strength to push forward. Think like a fish, swim like a fish, maybe I should have flopped like a fish while I was on land! Izuki's mind wondered but his body did not stray, his muscles were on auto pilot at full speed while his mind jumped into the backseat. I wonder how long it will take me this time Izuki pondered.

Meji took Aya's encouragement to heart and forced himself to press on. There must be a better way to go about this.
I almost wish someone were attacking me, the desperation might make the difference in learning the jutsu at an accelerated pace, its like learning to dodge Mamba Bees when your trying to get their nectar... THATS IT!
Meji began to pretend he was being chased by an angry swarm of Bees, he had never been hit legitimately, so he couldnt really make any sence of it, but bees, now thats something he knew alot about

"You did it!" Aya congratulated him with a joyous yell. Oh, she wanted to get up and train some more, but she was so beat that it would look really sloppy. She looked over to the river and saw that Izuki had jumped in. Sano was still hesitant and to Aya, it seemed like he really didn't want to swim across the river again. He did look pretty warn out from the training. Maybe, sensei would carry him across too. Looking over at her pack, she thought of grabbing her food and eating it right away, but sensei had waited yesterday for Sano to get done with his training before he ate and Aya felt like she should do the same thing. "Izuki! Sano! Hurry up! I'm really hungry!"

[We'll be eating lunch by tonight. If you guys aren't across by then, that's alright. We'll say you were too tired to swim across. I want everyone to award themselves with +1 Kawamiri. I didn't expect anyone to get the training completed, because its a tough jutsu, but you all did a good job in understanding it, so you deserve a skill point. The Academy test outline is up now and I want to make sure you all know the formula. Are there any questions?]
