((Yes, magic. I'm going to add a bit of an explanation to the first-page posts quite soon...))
After getting up Raerin bowed slightly in thanks toward the newest one, the snake-man that had just shown up. He didn't speak, though, somehow he couldn't find his voice at the moment. What had just happened felt impossible...Even moreso than anything before it in the past few days.

Azriel prowled over to them and started to circle looking for any sign of his new wolf friend being hurt.

After a moment Raerin shook his head slightly, to clear it, and said, "I think I'm alright, nothing's broken. I'm just in a bit of shock, and...a lot hungrier than I was a few minutes ago..." He started toward the food again. His fears before had already been confirmed.

Azriel followed him and says "Hey whats up? what just happened." He slid infront of Raerin "That was not normal for any animal's I've ever seen."

Raerin continued forward as if unhindered but said, "It doesn't seem possible but I'd have to think that was...magic... Like the snake said, back after centuries of nonexistance..."

"I can't beleive you did magic, the lost art." Voila looked down at the dead rhino creature. Voila flew over to Raerin. "Thanks for the save by the way. That was amazing."

He got to the food and ate a few bites before thinking of something. "That smell..." he said after swallowing, and sniffed carefully. "It's still there...I think that's what it was..."
To the others he explained, "Aurora and I smelled something earlier... Odd but powerful and familiar...I think that's magic... it's still there. I didn't bring it back, but something did...I just happened to find it." He continued eating thoughtfully.

Azriel turned and watched him as he walked past. He listened to his explination.. "does that mean we can all do that?" He walked back over to the food and started snacking hoping that someone would answer.

"I wonder if I can do magic and if I can start it." Voila looked thoughtful. "Magic. How do you think we can do it? You were desperate when you did it. You know that might mean untill we learn more about magic, we might only be able to use it in dire situations."

Raerin finished eating, for the moment, and said, "I don't know...It was strange, like I wanted something to happen so badly that it actually did...
Come to think of it, I was only half-elf before...It may be easier for someone that was a full elf..."
