well, since Lady Une leads the Preventers in the movie, and she seems fine (she can walks and all that stuff after being shot). That means there was no premanent damage.

She just might have been there.

She was definitely shown there but I believed this happened before she was brought back from space (at which time she was still in a coma) so I doubt she was really there...

Treize just has a really good imagination or maybe it has something to do with the graphic novel based on the scrapped original script of GW. I have yet to upload that but *Spoiler* Une doesn't go into a coma. Instead we see Treize pushing her around on a wheelchair showing he might have been the one to nurse her back to health.*Spoiler*

I was just rewatching the series...when Wu Fei trains with Master Long on L5, Master Long tells him about integrity and being true to himself...then when Wu Fei goes to fight, Master Long blows up the colony, right? Then in EW...we see Wu Fei's flashback of his clan telling him that they want to go ahead with OM and he gets mad and runs off, yelling about defeating evil...and then he sees the colony get blown up...was this the same incident? I figured they weren't because...in the episode, you don't hear anything about OM...but then it looked like the same incident...

I don't think that it is. In Episode Zero, Wufei fights off OZ's initial attempt to procure A0206 for the colony drop, but, in the end, his clan's elders decide to go along with OZ's plan anyway. Wufei runs off, declaring that he will fight the enemies that need to be fought, and he is given the statue of Altron to pay for the expenses of equipping and repairing the Shenlong. Endless Waltz then shows his clan destroying the colony after he runs off, preventing OZ from using it for their nefarious purposes.

The colony of the Long clan, also IIRC, is A0200, and Master Long (and company) blows it up in episode 35 of Gundam Wing to buy time for Wufei.

Don't quote me, though, as I haven't watched the series in some time. I'll have to go back and watch that episode.

I was wondering about the whole theory about Libra/Peacemillion hitting Earth and the never-ending winter scenario...I understand the plot...but I can't decide if it is completely plausible... I thought it could be as long as the two ships stayed merged and collided with earth...but it became just libra...then a section of Libra...then a section of a section of Libra...I thought...still huge, yes, but "kill all of humanity on earth" huge? I'm sure death would have been inevitable but I can't see how that piece of a piece could have done any more damage than the direct hit from Libra's main cannon. Then again...I don't know much about the subject. Any ideas?

Simple answer the block still had a reactoer/power system and not to mention if it hit would've caused massive damage.
After all we've seen in SEED Destiny and other Gundam series what falling debris or objects from the sky can do to the Earth xp

The impact alone could probably wipe out a large population. Additionally, the dust and crap would probably pick up into the atmosphere and cause a massive temperature drop. I think it's mentioned by Howard within the series.

There was some theory I heard the other day in reguard to Mt. St. Helens. It's a relatively small volcano, and yet debris from that alone spread to 11 states. It's estimated that if a larger volcano (Yellowstone? I'm not sure.) erupted, that the entire US could be covered and suffer from temperature drop. It kind of related to the same situation. So, I'm sure as insignificant as it may have seemed, it was probably massive enough to cause problems.

That or it was intended to add to the drama of Heero's infamous scene. sweatdrop

I recall said scene with Howard's explanation...I wondered why the piece in the very end would have done any more damage than Libra's main cannon did...it looked like that last blast was massive...wouldn't that kick up just as much stuff into the atmosphere? Or is it specifically linked to the ship's power source??? The block was significantly damaged after all...

Hm... Perhaps there could possibly be additional flaws within the canon? The scientists made it afterall. I'm sure they manipulated it so that it wasn't possible to wipe out the Earth in a single blast.

Well the block's reactor had detonated earlier it was pretty damaged on the inside but the outside was still holding together pretty well Wing Zero's Twin Buster Rifle wich has the power to destroy a space colony, the enegy blast just tore in to the remmains and whilst in the atmosphere caused it to detonate the remmains in a massive blast.
That's what I think.

Actually they made it so it couldn't fire consecutively/repeatedly.

I'd have to watch it again to see... I mean, there's a lot of plot holes with Zero's rifle... the destruction of colonies, blowing apart Libra, and breaking through the bunker shield of the Presidential Mansion in Brussels. They show it at different levels of power. It's mega powerful, needs more shots, whatever. I know it's adjustable... because they show it doing smaller shots and giant blasts.
