"Wants, hopes, they are irrelavant." Enyalius' voice has an unusual edge to it, as he replies. "Reality is as it is, and no amount of hoping can change it." He flinches at the demon's touch, turning to keep him in view. "You may be right, but you seem to have an unusually great hostility toward vampires in general, and Maybe in specific." He trails off again.

"Life is irrelivent. You get used to it. Play with the cards you've been dealt. Besides, everyone has desires, hopes, needs, and wants. Those things are escapeless. Vampires and demons have them as well. No reason to push them aside." Jaukk said gruffly as he advanced upon the other with one brow raised.

"Easy for you to say, coming from a lesser immortal." Enyalius snapped, "I do not have forever to live. I have one life to spend, and I have my goal. What would have, could have, or wish to have happened is irrelavant." He moderates his tone, realizing that is is loosing his composure. "However, it is interesting to note that even immortals have feelings." He looks somewhat nervous, but stands his ground as Jaukk closes the range.

"You can have eternal life if you really want it," Jaukk stated simply as he continued to close in on the gap between them, his wings stretching out to prevent the other from running past him. "We don't have feelings, us immortals, well...the good ones do..or, rather, those that claim to be good do, but they're simply psychotic." Jaukk smirked as he was now face to face with the cat, staring down at him, "The rest of us immortals, or undead, or demons, however you wish to classify us as...we have wants and desires. Needs. Hope is irrelavent, as you said so yourself."

Enyalius shivered slightly, controling his unease with an iron fist, looking up at Jaukk. "So you seperate feelings and desires? That's a unique way of looking at things..." He pulled his thoughts back into line carefully, ordering his words before speaking. "Is immortality worth the price you pay, I wonder?" He posed the question with complete matter-of-factness, despite the fact that his eyes were darting around rappidly.

Jaukk smirked deviously as the other's eyes darted about rapidly, though he kept his voice in a more composed manner. Tsk, tsk. Mortals really didn't know how to hide what they were feeling. "It's the best way to look at things," Jaukk stated plainly. Glancing behind to see the chair, he gently pushed Enyalius backwards towards it. What had the other said about him earlier? Something along the lines of he didn't seem so bad? and yet here he was, behaving like a frantic kitten. "Immortality is worth every little price you pay. If you choose, you can keep your emotions and feelings, or cast them aside and live without regret or guilt. Although, I kept guilt. Guilty pleasures are the most satisfying."

Enyalius slowly backs toward the chair, for some reason almost overwhelmed by the figgure in front of him. "Ahhh... That sounds like a rather..." He stumbles over the foot stool, falling backwards into the seat. "interesting proposition... Guilty, you say?" He stumbles over his words, his iron grip on his thoughts slipping apart bit by bit.

"It is indeed a most interesting proposition," Jaukk said as he watched with a rather unplacable smile, watching the other stumble backwards. With the smile came the slight tearing of flesh from the stitches, trickles of blood falling for only a few moments before Jaukk used his sleeve to wipe it away. The tiny holes in his flesh around his mouth was simply gruesome, but it didn't seem to bother him. He leaned down and put his hands on the arm rests, now face to face with him. Staring at him with only one eye, "Very guilty. You won't find any other satisfaction like it."

"Er... Ah, you're bleeding a bit there...." Enyalius stammers, "ahh..." he falls silent, simply no longer able to order his thoughts into coherant words. What the heck is going on here? Why am I so terrified? He looks around, calculating his escape options and coming up with a big, fat, zero. Outclassed in all possible ways. He slumps into the chair, his eyes settling onto Jaukk's.

"Wounds heal and scars fade," Jaukk stated gruffly as he smirked. Watching the other carefully, he gave out a very dry chuckle. The other just didn't realize what he had gotten himself into. Tampering with a demon in which he had read in all the wrong ways. If he had feelings, he would probably stop entertaining himself and feel sorry for him - but, seeing as he had chosen to cast them aside, and he was only getting guilty pleasure... "Frightened little cat? Perhaps hoping Maybe will come and rescue you? Well, that just won't happen." Jaukk pushed away from the chair and in a great speed, went over and slammed the door, locking it before using that speed to get back over to Enyalius. "Oopsie."

Enyalius had almost managed to realize Jaukk was not there before he returned. "Ah... Not really..." his attempt at a lie failed completely, sounding wooden and fake even to his own ears. "So... you still heal like a living being?" Even terrified out of his mind, he was still curious. "But how does that work if..." His train of thought went to pieces again, and he slumped back to the chair, trying to melt through it to the floor*
((I'm off for the evening, I need to get some sleep. AWSOME RP, continue tomorrow evening?))

Jaukk reached down and gently grabbed his shirt, pushing him back up into the chair as if to help him to maintain his balance, somewhat. Smirking at the other's reactions, he shook his head. "No, faster than a 'living being.'" Jaukk's mouth was already starting to pull itself together, which was a rather disturbing thing due to the audible 'squish' of the flesh being pulled back together. "Curiosity killed the cat. In this case, if you take the 'interesting proposition' that just may become true. If you do choose immortality, I suggest you go to Maybe right away. Just be aware that anything he owns, I effectively own as well." Jaukk pushed away from the chair and stood there with his arms crossed.
( redface Thank you...Your a fantastic RP'er. I look forward to tomorrow evening. Goodnight, Kom.)

"Th-thats interesting" Enyalius stammered, terrified almost out of his mind. "I'm n-new to the whole 'property' thing, and its a li-little odd." He shook violently. "Wh-why do YOU own me? I mean, I kn-know that Mikkael does, nu-but why you?" He shivvers almost uncontrolably, pressing back into the chair.
(Hey, you're darm good with the character!)

Jaukk grumbled inaudibley to himself before he looked back down towards the cat who was now pressing himself into the chair, causing that devious smirk to creep back upon his lips once more, "Listen, cat. It's a simple little chain, so remember it. I own Maybe. Maybe owns Mikkael. Mikkael owns you. So, you trace back to me. It's a vicous cycle and you got suckered into it. You'll live...I think."
( redface You play Enyalius very well also, Kom. It takes two to make an RP work...)

"Mikkael, Maybe, you. G-got it." Enyalius shivered again, wondering to himself why this single person could cause him so much terror without even a visible threat. "And living would definately b-be a plus." He felt the soft old chair behind him, and carefully focused himself on the feeling of the padding and the fabric, trying desperately to order his thoughts again.
