How do you march with an oboe? My understanding is that oboe reeds are too fragile, though I heard something about an adapter that lets you play oboe with a saxophone reed...
Me, I play bassoon and I'm in pit for marching season though my private instructor is hell-bent on my learning tenor sax. o_O;

no not really.... Les Mis is (in my opinion) the best musical ever. the actual name is Les miserables. it's kind of a long story but when you get it it's really good.

no not really.... Les Mis is (in my opinion) the best musical ever. the actual name is Les miserables. it's kind of a long story but when you get it it's really good. watch the 10th aniversary at Royal Albert Hall. They have a full orchestra, not just the pit usuals (which doesn't include bassoon, though it does have oboe)

You get a plastic reed to march with the oboe.... You would sound like crap, but the reed wouldn't be a fragile.... An adapter... Wow! It would be so cool to marching with an oboe!!!! I would love that!!!!!!!!!!!
