Varan shrugged.

"Whatever is most convenient for you both is fine." Suddenly both of her ears twitched violently and she sighed, rubbing her forehead tiredly.

"Yoko-sama, allow me to apologize in advanced..." Just then a scuffle could be heard outside, and a male voice was yelling.

'Let me through you stupid kitsunes!' A few moments later, two of Yoko's guards dragged in a young demon. He had short spikey red hair that framed his pointed ears, and a brown wolf tail. His emerald eyes were flashing angrily as he fought against his captor's hold.

Yoko smiled at Varan, "I'm guessing that this is what you were apoligizing for." He turned to the boy, "I need to know what you're doing in my territory. You may not be an enemy, but you didn't need to attack my guards. They are perfectly reasonable."

Botan jumped at what happened and almost knocked herself down. She gathered herself and looked at the boy.
"Um Varan-san is he.....part of your pack or something.....you did apoligize for him....and....he is....a wolf demon," said Botan as she had her hand up to her chest and another to her mouth as she nibbled slightly on her finger.

Keiko, out of breath and slightly frustrated, ran into the room. This was where those guards had taken Chris-sama wasn't it? She leaned on the wall for a moment, completely winded. Those guards moved so quickly! It was all she could do just to keep up. Once she had caught her breath, she looked around the room. Noticing the others, her face flushed with embarrassment and she bowed. "Ah! I-I'm sorry! Did I interrupt something?"

Varan growled and shot daggers at Chris with her eyes.

"Oh no, not at all Keiko-chan," she said calmly. "We were just about to have Chris here explain what he's doing here, and why he dragged a defenseless human all over Makai!" Chris swallowed and shifted from foot to foot. He opened his mouth, but Varan cut him off. "And he's going to explain who he is to Yoko-sama and Botan-san. Isn't that right Chris?" Chris nodded.

"Yes ma'am." He drew in a deep breath and bowed to Yoko and Botan. "I am a beta male in Lady Varan's pack," he explained. "We've known each other since we were pups, so naturally I was worried when she was cast out of the pack. Keiko and I were the only ones who would openly help Lady Varan, so I followed her scent here." Varan placed her hands on her hips, her accusing gaze never leaving Chris.

"Chris this is ridiculous! What if something happened to you or Keiko-chan?! And since when do you call me Lady Varan?"

"You are the alpha," Chris replied, meeting her gaze stubbornly. Varan growled.

"No I'm not!," she snapped. "And even if I was, I don't ever want to hear you fo all people address me as lady, sama, mistress, or anything of the like!"

Botan looked at all of them and then to Kayko and Chris.
"OH MY! Do you guys want something to drink? Something..." said Botan as she started to say things panicking as she ran in a circle thinking of what to get them... gonk
