Wrathful Shapeshifter

Scion tilted his head, hand hovering, and then withdrawing. "I belive," he said settling his hands in his lap. "We where having a conversation. If you are assuming I am mentaly forcing you to accept me you are mistaken. I am not a telepath or empath."

He raised a hand, pushing his hair back. "I can calm people by touch but that is from years of ...soothing the masters. It is not a magic, just simply coaxing a reaction I guess you could say. I must say I was rather surprised when you said laid considoring you where blushing so often." The fox shrugged. "Are you angry with me?"

"Yes!" he spat out before really thinking about it - and if he hadn't really thought about it than it must be true, right? Because second guesses didn't have time to taint the truth of it. On the other hand, a gut reaction wasn't always... the 'right' one - not in terms of ethics but... but that your head got clouded when some other part of you was more right, more accurate or whatever.

Eden huffed irritably, shifting uncomfortably and turning slightly away from the fox though keeping a close eye on him. "I don't know what to think," he mumbled, "You're strange."

"I'm strange even to myself. At least you have a place naturally, I'm still trying to find a place." He sigh and closed his red eyes. He knew what he was and it was unnatural on many levels. "Why are you mad at me anyways? You are the one that let you barrier down. You could of fought it before."

Eden huffed again, shaking his head once to remove a few bangs from his line of vision, so as to more clearly glare at the fox. However, the glare was half-hearted and he soon found himself wishing the hair was still there, to conceal the growing uncertainty working to diminish his offense.

"No one has a place," he muttered, an attempt to follow tangent and escape the subject, preferring to ignore it than to pursue. "I'm just here." Which wasn't entirely accurate, but not false in any way either. He was here because it was the... only place to be. Not necessarily the best and certainly not the worst but also... the only one.

Scion responded with a snort to the halfhearted response. "If you're going to glare at me mean it kiddo. Everyone has a place it’s just hard to find it." The one thing that kept him going was to find his place. He hadn't found it yet but he had a belief and hope.

"Why do you hide your eyes? Scared to show your windows of the soul?” Windows of the soul, such an amusing phrase. The fox hand moved to push the hair back.

'Kiddo'? Great. Just great. What was Scion, sixteen? Bloody great. He barely reacted to the touch, neither a flinch nor a wince nor even a push away, just a mote of recognition and... while it wasn't distaste or uncomfortableness, a certain reluctance and irritation. "You seem to have faith in destiny," Eden muttered, shifting slightly and looking away now that the hair out of his eyes could no longer conceal the unsure anger lurking behind them. "And I'm not scared. There's nothing here to see but--" pause, pout, "Me."

"I guess..some what I do." Scion paused thinking. "But I think people also change their destiny. It's one of thoughts things that can never just be set in stone." He tugged a stray lock of hair back in place.

He smiled. "Well it seems you don't want people to see you. Not that a bad thing." With his hair and markings it was hard to just melt into a crowd and that was one talent he wished he had.

Eden was frowning again, and as ever it came out to appear more as a pout than the disapproval he so wanted to display. The only people who believed in destiny were the ones who didn't know what it was like to be outside of it. Sure, maybe something out there had plans for certain individuals - but it didn't pay attention to everybody, a fact of which Eden was acutely aware.

"I don't... Go out much," he hmphed in reply, neglecting to carry on any part of a topic that made him comfortable yet again. It was a good way to work.

"You keep saying that..makes me want to take you out somewhere," Scion made a face. "When the last time you saw a movie?" He actually got to see one last week when Vain had taken them to a cinema to get use to the culture. "They are fun and have popcorn!"
PostPosted: Sun Oct 15, 2006 7:23 am

"Public movie theatres are dirty and full of people," Eden snapped irritably - in such a way that 'people' could quite clearly be taken to mean 'normal people', though the precise connotations involved in that... insult, it had to be - were left unspecified.

Most of the reason Eden preferred seclusion wasn't that disdain for the mob, however, though a dislike for most individuals helped to keep him indoors. Also, it wasn't so much that he didn't like people as he didn't like the way they talked, walked, acted - boisterous, open. It made him feel threatened, even shunned by virtue of his tendencies to the opposite.

"So? A lot of things are dirty and full of people or one of the other. This restraunt is full of people and the woods is full of dirt and green things." Actually that explained why Vain yelled at Skittles for picking up kernals of popcorn from the floor and eating them. "People have their good points, they create a buffer between you and bullets."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 15, 2006 1:34 pm

"There's a difference between dirt and filth," Eden bit back huffily, crossed arms over the counter tensing a little in sheer irritation. "And why would I ever have to worry about bullets?" a sniff and huff, clearly unimpressed by the arguments thus far. Everyone tried to get him to go out more, even Peregrine - and what had he earned from it? A bite. And a pursuing biter. Hmph. This 'getting outside' business was way over-rated.

Scion giggled. "This is why you need to go outside and actually relax. You be less huffy." He bounced in his seat looking back at Peregrin. "You know for a moment you let your shield down and actually said he got laid it was nice."

The fox paused. "I still want my Nachos...surpringly Peregrin hasn't thrown me out."

((Bahaha, 'm gonna start tying plots together from other RPs 'm involved at the mo'. Fun fun chaaaaoooos~ x3))

Eden shrugged sullenly. He just... didn't like where this was going. How the fox got under his skin, made him all twitchy and stuff. Didn't like that at all. It was better than - well, uh... death? Physical pain? Maybe. Just. Didn't. Like it.

But glory and praise for further distractions - why hadn't Scion been thrown out yet, if Peregrine had had anything to do with it? Unless the tight-a** was being a stickler for rules again, refusing to physically evict him until he had reason this time around. Which meant he was waiting for Scion to attack Eden or something. .........b*****d.

...All right. Now they were both staring at him. Again. Children e_e

Ah, perfect. Marks doubted he'd be happy to see Peregrine too many more times in his life - unless the angel was going to be bleeding or in some other type of physical and/or emotional pain. Though the latter didn't seem likely. Marks was fair convinced Peregrine didn't actually have a soul. But no matter. That wasn't important for now. What was important was that Peregrine didn't like vampires, and Marks had a game to play.

But what was this? The demon paused in the doorway of M'lady's, one eyebrow quirked in the direction of... whaddaya know, the brat. And some pretty little snake. And... Peregrine being all glareful at them. ...Entertaining, yes. And he'd have no trouble getting the angel's attention should he have a sat with the psychotic Skittles. Probably a recipe for disaster in the angel's mind - which was perfect.

"What's up, kiddies?" he purred as he approached the two, leaning on th bar, though he for the most part ignored Skittles'... 'friend'. "High-'n-mighty over there's trying to burn a hole in your skulls with his eyes of stabbity death. What put his panties in a twist?"

Scion lips twitched in a slight smile and he waved cheerly to Marks and blew a kiss at Peregrine just to piss him off. "He wants to throw me out but so far he's not..I think he's waiting for me to wreak the joint or something." The fox shrugged and twitched his tails.

"Anyways. Eden said he was in a good mood for awhile. Care to bet if he got laid or had someone killed?" He questioned raising an eyebrow. "And if laid with who? Certainly not a whore because he seems to high class to pay someone for his pleasure, but for the life of me I can't think of anyone who would lay with his bitchness."

Scion paused. "OOoh where are my manners? Marks this is Eden, Eden this is Marks. He lives at the town house." He added.
