The_Incognito_Man You can beat him by using the triangle button? I wish, but no, that's simply how you SURVIVE. If you even forget about that triangle button, you are instantly thinly sliced Sora. Naw, I used reflect shield and Ultima Weapon to beat Sephy. It helped I was level 99, also... xp

The single most talked about topic is whether or not there will be a Pendragon movie. I get hundreds of questions about it in e-mails everyday and it's constantly discussed in many, many forums. So I figured it's time I made an overall post to address the question: Will there be a Pendragon movie?
The short, unsatisfying answer is: maybe someday.
Here's the deal. I think Pendragon movies are a great idea. As most of you know, I'm a filmmaker so that's kind of where my head automatically goes. When I first started writing the books, it was with an eye toward making movies. But along the way, something weird happened. The books became really popular. Not that that's a weird thing in itself, but I never really thought that there would be so many readers all over the world who enjoyed my story about Bobby and the Travelers. I'm stunned and really grateful for that.
The weird thing is that now movies don't seem as important to me as they once did because the books have taken on a life of their own. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see Pendragon movies. But I'm now nervous about that because as everybody knows, it's hard to make a movie that will satisfy fans and not ruin their impression of the books. That's not to say it can't happen, but it's difficult.
I've been talking to lots of people about making movies and also about computer games, but the right situation hasn't presented itself yet. I've said "no" to a lot of people. I can tell you some things that WON'T happen. Pendragon will not become a TV series. Being someone who makes TV series, I don't believe Bobby's story is one that will translate well to TV. And Pendragon will not become an animated movie. I don't think animated adventure movies work. Heck, most live-action adventure movies now are full of animation anyway! But a cartoon Bobby just wouldn't make it for me. So that only leaves feature films.
Will that happen someday? It could. But it's going to take the right combination of people to get together who share my vision and have the ability to bring something as huge as Bobby's story to the screen. I do hope that will happen someday, but I'm not spending a lot of time worrying about it.
So, I hope that answers everyone's questions. Actually, this might mean my e-mail load will be cut in half because nobody will be asking about movies anymore! Woo hoo! I'll have more time to write the books!
If things change, I'll post it here. But until then, if anybody asks if there's going to be a Pendragon movie, refer them to this post. Okay?
