It was good, but I thought the epilogue was kind of corny. sweatdrop

I happens to think that it was brilliant. I don't get it why people thinks that the epilogue stinks.

Meh; too corny for my liking, and a bit of a let down compared to the rest of the book.

To each their own, though. 3nodding

Yes, every one have their own. I think she should write a new series about Lord Voldemort. About his years at the orphanage, at Hogwarts, and about the first war against the Ministry of Magic, and a review about his exile and his full actions after his return...

It was a bit cookie-cutter, but I think she needed to do it.

Makes it much much harder for anyone to attempt to continue the series now.

I think a story about Voldemort would be a bad idea. She made it pretty clear that there's nothing good or redeeming about him. If anything, I think there's a possibility of doing books about the founders of Hogwarts.

I think it'd be a bad idea though. There are far too many authors who cheapen their own work by spitting out series after series of books. That's probably why sci fi and fantasy books never make it mainstream.

That aside, Deathly Hallows was one of the best books of the series. I think I must've cried for the last hundred pages or so. She tied it up so well, and completely redeemed Snape. I was pretty sure that she'd find some way to show that Snape was a good guy all along, but the way she did it was amazing.

VERY cookie cutter (just finnished book less than half hour ago) but very cute...

i think i would enjoy a series about riddle, thoough it would proboubly not be able to be 7 books, maybe 3/4... maybe a serise about SEVERUS (snape) !!!!!!! that would be good the books about the hogwat people would be good, does anyone know the circle of magic serise by tamora peirce it has four books, one cenjtered arouned each cahreckter a** a chiled, and then four more books centered around each as a young adoult with an aprentice- that woiuld be cool- one book about the growing up and then one about building hogwarts...

I loved all the Tamora Pierce ones, except for Circle of Magic actually. xd

Maybe I'll give them another try, though- haven't tried to read them again in a many years. :3

I highly suggest reading the Wheel of Time books, especially now that Jordan has passed on.

It was corny with a capital C... stare It was horrible. Most of the stuff she wrote in the Epilogue I felt were irrelevant and I there are still a whole bunch of things I wanted to know... Besides... Ron marries Hermione, Harry marries Ginny? Yay. So obvious.

I just read Brave New World by Huxley, and it was actually really good. Horribly satirical, and quite disturbing at times, but I thoroughly enjoyed its social commentary.

xd I'm such a nerd.

Did any of you read Animal farm?

I liked the book... Especially the motto which fits so well into today's 'nice' people: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others".
