Achan ".... ((Hehe.. I can't help but think of the Simpsons now. "What? Will you release the dogs? Or the dogs with the bees in their mouth so when they bark they shoot bees at you?" - or something like that. XD )) Not quite bees, these insects - all ten of them - swarm down upon the demons. They are quite quick, the only glimpses the group getting of them when they swipe their pinchers at them before they fly up into the air to avoid a counterattack. "What the hell are these?!" "Mmmh... Selene, could you freeze one of them so we can see~?" Aederin asks calmly as she side steps another hit and run attempt. ((Yes Achan, that quote is quite correct. *Chuckles* Haven't heard it in awhile. Good old Homer.)) Sidestepping the stinger Kilraq avoids an almost bad hit. "Looks like a little Espoir will be needed soon." He says dryly. Putting his back to Felara he ask quickly, "Can you sweep them up into one area with your wind for a major assult by the more musculary bound party member?" he ask quickly, intent of keeping the bees from both himself and her so she can cast spells.

Sparksol rolls his eyes at Kura's remark. "Until she returns, that is. She stepped out temporarily on an issue of some importance. And while we weren't too happy about Suzy being a spy, no, there's really no need to be so rough on her, that we know about." He gives a halfhearted smile in apology to Suzy. "Although we were more than ready to do so when we thought she was someone else's spy...but that's neither here nor there." Demons will be demons. Change takes time.... He shakes his head.
Huh. Odd thought.
"Is Lord Laharl waiting past the gate, or is he expecting a written response?" he says in a more congenial tone.

Stepping back from a strike from one of the flying menace, he jumps up and swings his blade downwards, the air from the slash slams fowards towards three of the insects that where clustered, he just hopes his Wind Cutter strikes true as he lands back on his feet pulling the sword up into a defence position. "Well, atleast I made it in time for the fun part..."

Mischief's Wind Cutter indeed cuts into the insects, catching them by surprise. Two of the strange insects take heavy damage, while one only catches wind (haha) of it.
The two insects who are heavily injured lay low to the ground and are not as quick as their brethern, showing their very strange forms. The lower halves of the insects indeed look like the torsoes of bees, long wings included, though that is where the similarities end. Their upper half are of naked female and male demons, with pincers for hands.

"Oh..." The messenger looks a little disappointed, a slight frown creases his mouth. "He's not here. In his own Netherworld. I was to deliver this note." He rummages in his pouch and pulls out a small envelope.

Selene constantly casted ice, but the creature would fly out of the way of the freezing spell. This, however, annnoyed the **** out of Selene, greatly. Suddenly, she stopped using her lower level ice spells. The sky slowly changed colors as the air started to down in temperature dramtically. Out of nowhere, a blue haired woman who looked like a warrior appeared from the sky and shout freezing bolts at the insects, instantly turning whatever it touched into nice ice cubes in layers of hard ice.

Keno races towards the two demons that had been downed by the previous attack, "Looks like got clean up duties..." he grins some as he builds up his chi and unleashes a simple looking punch towards the first one before glancing towards to other in an invitation to just try and help his comrade, readying himself to counter.

Abyss takes this opprotunity thanks to Selene he attacks several of the insects with his sword attempting to shatter them.

"Now let's give this a try!" Felara places her staff in front of her and begins to chant softly as a growing wind gathers around her feet. She then holds her staff aloft and releses the spell, catching the remaining non-frozen insects in a billowing green whirlwind, tossing them high into the air while the winds sliced at them and then dropping them like rocks onto the ground.

Nodding quickly as Felara's comment, Kilraq quickly switches to his gun, shotting at the insects still on the ground, determined to be of more help than merely that of the "healer". Feeling the temperature drop as well, Kilraq spares a moment from his shooting to give Selene an encouraging comment, a random battle call. ((How many more insects are we looking at her Achan?))

After the attack of the bees Meme is dissapointed because he didn't get a piece of the action...
"Aww crap... that happens all because I got distracted too much behind..." Meme's face looks bored... Takes out his gun and shoots a bee that has already been cut into half... "That should do it... in the meantime..."

The foes finished off,....
((Hooray!))
.... the air around them is quiet once again, and just a tad cooler than previously, thanks to Selene and her icy magic.
"Yai," Achan mouths. She too hadn't had to do anything, her fingers tightening and loosening around the handle of her knife. "Well, uh, good job, everyone~" heart
"What would you have us do now?" Aederin asks.
"Go.. to the city?"
"And be attacked again by these .. whatever they are."

The messenger cautiously gives Sparksol the letter and quickly backs away when his duty is done, his head bowed.
On the front of the envelope is the word "Maou" in cursive glowing writing.

Abyss starts walking off towards the city "Misstress I don't see why we stand around i can take on a who army with Selene of course" he says as he walks towards the city starting to sing his adventure song loudly and veyr pround."
