1un4r5h4d0w D3m0n1ca Zombie Lord Moses I first played on December 25th, 05. So basically about a year and five months. Anymore though anything in DDR is rlyrly easy, so Ive moved mostly to ITG. The only time I really go back is to either make an edit for a song or just to see how well I do on all the songs. I think Im behind for how long Ive been playing. I personally think that by now I should be at least starring twelves in ITG and AAA'ing tens in DDR. I dont have anything on my friend Kai though. Claim it to be bull if you wish(admittedly, it is extraordinary), but he passed his first ten(A real ten, mind you, such as one of the maxes.) after only having played for a month. A shame he cant play anymore. He'd probably be like pickles on steroids. I'm sorry but I really don't believe you. I've been playing about 4 years and I didn't start making c's, b's and a's on ten footers until later last year. The only ten footer AA I hold is on Sakura. XP He meant December 04. He's legit. Besides, how slow or fast it takes you to get high grades on harder songs varies from person to person. It only took me a little more than a year and a half to AA them all minus PSMO. I wouldn't touch PSMO with a fifty foot poll at the arcade. So many DDR n00bs there play it enough. But I have a high B on PSM and a A on Paranioa survivor. And sorry for my reply, Zombie lord Moses. I thought you meant 05, not 04.^^

Zombie Lord Moses I think I have everyone beat when I say it took me like a MONTH to get the hang of 1/8ths. I mean wtf. >.> Easiest stuff ever. Im just slow or something. It took me 25 days to beat anything with 8th notes with an A or better. xp But it took me for-freaking-ever to feel really comfortable with them. Although now they're hella easy for me, except on songs faster than 180 bpm, in which case I still have to work a bit to do well on them. And 8th-note strings that last for more than 4 measures will sometimes give me some more noteworthy trouble.

I put in 3-5 hours everyday for about a month, took a 1-2 day break and then was back at it.
N' its okay. Im used to being doubted. v.V;

I started...lessee...*goes off to check...Thursday July 21. Wow! My one year anniversery is soon...sort of anyway...by this point, I'm getting C's and B's in nines and tens. But I've only played in an arcade three times. I must increase that number!

Technically, I started playing December 04, so that would put me at 1.5 years. However, there was a period where I was unable to play DDR for at least 6 months (winter time--closest arcade isn't open, I don't own a home pad)... so I've been playing for about a year.
Ganbatte Mychasi, I wish I could give you some tips, but I haven't seen your playing style. Any AA's yet?

MovieFreek i have been playing on and off but i can play on the diffiult level just for one song and thats hestaria (cant spell right) And to that, I have a reply: wtf? How the hell is Hysteria the only song you can beat on (I'm guessing) Heavy? There are bundles of way easier songs on all the versions I've played, and I still only AA Hysteria about half the time on Heavy. confused

MovieFreek I hate playing them really slow songs and well i like Hestaria (still cant spell) its like the only song that i love with a passion its like the only song that i play next to End of the Century You know, if you hold down the X or O button (or both, if you prefer) when starting a song, you can make the arrows move faster. There, you now know the secret to AAA'ing all the slow songs, now go, fly, and try Burning Heat [x1.5] on heavy while you're at it, because it's not slow, and it sounds WAY better than End of the Century or Hysteria.

Hysteria: As choppy sounding as the Paranoias, and it doesn't even have real notes, just crappy sounds that sound completely computerised. BADLY.
End of the World: A combination of the shittiest lyrics I've ever heard and stealing REALLY shitty melodies that nobody likes. Yeah, great song.
P.S. there are a couple songs that I'd say are worse, but I do whatever I can to forget them as quickly as possible.
