She continued smiling, and tried her best not to blush as she took his hand and used it to help herself up.
With a small giggle she agreed. "That's right! Sasuke-kun and Sakura! The best ninjas in the world!" So maybe that was an impossible goal, but she didn't care; it involved Sasuke, and as long as she was with him.. as long as they were friends, she would be happy.
"You know, Sasuke-kun.." she started, placing one hand under her chin thoughtfully. "Today should be our day off. I think we've earned it, don't you?"
Forget the fact that it would not bode well at all with their families..

Sasuke had to laugh at her statement. He wasn't sure if they would ever be the best ninjas in the world, but it sounded realy cool, and it wouldn't hurt to try.
"I think you're right," he answered with a firm nod and a smile. "Where should we go?"
He didn't care about the fact that he'd get scolded when he got home. All work and no play makes makes Jack a dull boy, right? (Sasuke actually thought about his brother when the saying entered his mind.)
"Any ideas?" he added as he looked down the alleyways while he waited for her to come up with somewhere to go.

"Hm.."
To be honest, Sakura had always wanted to skip. She might have acted like a good girl, but deep down, she was an accident waiting to happen. Who said you couldn't have two personalities? But now that she was actually.. well, skipping, she didn't really know what to do. ..What was there to do?
"Well.." She looked down one end of the alley. "We could go get some ice-cream," she suggested. "And if anyone asks.. we're not kids, we're spies from another village!"

When Sasuke heard the word 'ice cream,' he smiled. He didn't particularly have a sweet tooth, but he loved having a cone of the cold treat every once in a while.
"That works for me!" he answered after she finished her statement. He didn't say anything abot the spies comment. He wasn't sure if anybody would question them anyway. The people would probably figure that they were just regular students, whom didn't start school until next week. If they did...
Well, they were spies from a different village!
"Let's go get some ice cream then!" he said with a grin as he began to leave the alleyways, going slowly until his friend could catch up and walk besides him.

Ino had been getting seriously bored waiting for their stupid Sensei to come back. Sighing, she glanced at the still open door, and her brain clicked.
Sasuke + Out of School + Rabid Fangirls = SKIPPING!
Of course, all she had to do was get a little stampede of Sasuke fangirls, and everything would be all set.
Getting up and making her way to the door, she looked down both hallways - Not a single soul. Grinning evilly, she shut the door and made her way to the front of the classroom.
Quickly, she cleared her throat, hoping to get attension of everyone in the classroom..
Talking was heard.
Frowning, she took her hand and dragged her nails against the chalk-board.
The talking stopped.
"Ahem. Excuse me everyone, but I'd like the attension of the Sasuke-fangirls in this classroom." She said, sounding confident. "Everyone else.. go back to whatever your doing, Sasuke-fangirls - Come up here with me."
More than half of the classroom's girl population got up and went to the front of the classroom.
"Now, listen here.. Sasuke-kun has left the building." She whispered, soon swoons, faintings, and squeals could be heard. "Now, I say we get out of this place, find as many Sasuke-kun Fangirls, and track him down!" She said, pumping her fist and the air. "I'll be needing everyone's cooperation - Seeing as Sasuke's new 'Best-friend' is with him." She gave an icy glare.
"Who?" One of the girl's asked, and others nodded in agreement.
"Haruno Sakura." She replied, and gasps were heard through-out the group. 'That b***h..' Some were saying. 'And I thought she was one of us..' Another said.
"Quiet down!" Ino said annoyingly, and everyone quieted down. "Now - Split up into groups and get out of here and look for Sasuke!" She yelled, and they yelled back in agreement. Ino lead the way, and they followed back like mind-less zombies.
"Watch out.. Haruno Sakura."

Sakura caught up to him quickly, and linked her hands behind her back as they walked. "I know the perfect place.." she told him, her smile still in place. "It's right by this place called Ichiraku Ramen."
She hoped Sasuke liked ice cream. She wanted him to enjoy his skip day, and she wanted him to enjoy it with her.
Smile fading slightly, she looked up at the sky to see it clouding up a bit. On reflex, she moved a little closer to the Uchiha. Her smile was completely gone by now. "I.. think it's about to rain.." she mumbled, shivering a little.

A smile lay on Sasuke's face as the boy walked with and listened to his friend talk. He was glad that she knew a good place to eat ice cream, because he didn't.
He had heard of the ramen place before, and he tried to remember any place around it that sold ice cream. Unfortunately, his mind was blank at the moment.
A sudden overcast sent the boy's focus from ice cream to the weather. ...Weird. It was getting cloudy.
He noticed Sakura scoot close to him, and he wondered if she was afraid of bad weather. It was a shame if he was; Sasuke actually enjoyed the rain sometimes. It was fun to play in, and it made training harder, therefor it made training better.
He noted her comment about the weather, and shoot his head, as if he were confused.
"It's strange...Mom said that it was going to be sunny all day...maybe the forecast was wrong?" he mumbled. However, if Sakura WAS scared, he didn't want to get her even more frightened. After all, it was their very own skip day, and he didn't want the day to dissapoint her.
"Don't worry," he said, hoping he would reassure the girl. "If it rains, it'll probably only be a drizzle or something...we could just find shelter."
He smiled at her, and silently prayed that she would feel a bit more comfortable.

Once outside, Ino split everyone up into groups, and each group had a leader. And the leader, of course, was snotty, bossy, and one of the higher ups of the SUFC. (Sasuke Uchiha Fan Club)
Shouting out to each group, she pointed in a direction. "Ami, you guys go that way. Natalie, down around there. Tiffany, you guys go up there. And we're going to look around in the market." She finished, and beckoned her group of four girls to follow her.
"Meet back in an hour." She said, throwing a kunai down on the ground in the spot. "If not, shout out and we'll go in the general direction." She said, and watched as her little army set out to do her job.
Oh, she was so evil. Who could come up with such an amazing plan? Ino Yamanaka of course! Her name would be known world-wide. President of the SUFC, and she wins Sasuke over that little brat of a friend, Sakura.
Ino glared. She always got what she wanted, and this was no different.

She smiled after looking up and seeing his smile. He was right. It would just be a drizzle.. anything worse they could find shelter for.. there was no need to worry..
..so why did her intuition continue telling her something bad was about to happen?
But.. Uchiha Sasuke, of all people, was trying to cheer her up. Honestly, how could she not smile? It wasn't every day something like this happened. Most girls in her class would kill for being in Sakura's shoes right then..
"You're right.. it's nothing to worry about!" And it was at that moment that the ice-cream stand she had informed Sasuke about earlier came into view. She gasped slightly. "Look, Sasuke-kun, there it is!" Without really.. thinking, she took his hand in hers and began running.

Sasuke was quite satisfied that he had cheered up his friend. He still couldn't get over the fact that maybe the sudden cloud overcast was a bad omen.
Sasuke shook his head. Superstitions were stupid.
He wasn't expecting it when his body suddenly jerked foreward. He blinked, and saw that Sakura was pulling him to a stand. It had a painting of a large ice-cream cone, and Sasuke knew that she was heading for the ice-cream stand.
"Let's go, then!" he called with a smirk as he ran to catch up with her. For some reason, he felt the need to impress her.
The hand that was taken by Sakura's own now gripped hers as he speeded up and ran ahead of his friend. He thought nothing of it at the moment, as he was focused on Sakura herself, and ice-cream.
Now HE was the one who was leading HER.

Suddenly, somthing flew from the bushes, landed on Sasuke, and completly killed the kawaii chibi SasuSaku mood. Oh no! crying
It was heavy, and snarling. As it came down on Sasuke, two red trangles and a bestial scrunched nose became visable.
"I DO NOT HAVE RABIES, DAMMIT!!!" the dog-boy yelled angerly. It was a bit of a sore spot, to say the least. "I ALSO DO NOT HAVE FLEAS OR TICKS, AND I DO NOT EAT DOG FOOD!!! MY DOG DOES NOT HAVE FLEAS OR TICKS, I GO TO THE DOCTOR, NOT THE VET, AND THESE TRIANGLES ARE TATTOOS, NOT MAKEUP!" He shoved his face in the Uchiha's. "I ALSO DO NOT LIKE HYUUGA NEJI!!! IS THAT CLEAR!?!?!"
Clearly, Sasuke was not the first one to make dog jokes.
The dog boy was angry. He'd have gotten the boy in class, but Iruka was already mad at him, and that freaky bug kid was holding him back, anyway. He kept glaring at Sasuke, fangs bared, ready to fight. There was also a not-nearly-as-thratening-as-it-was-adorable growl from a small white ball of fur that was puffed up to double normal size. (Note Akamaru is still a puppy)
"Wanna fight me for it, Uchiha?"
(Yey! Sasuke can prove him manlyness to Sakura! *cheer* Sorry I've been away, I'll be on pretty regularly now.)

Sakura sort of.. stood there, staring blankly when something jumped on Sasuke, their hands becoming separated in an instant. She would have fallen, had she regained her balance any slower.
She clamped her hands together and held them close to her chest, worriedly glancing between the two boys. "S-Sasuke-kun.." Oh, what was she worried for? Sasuke could take them!
"Of course! Sasuke-kun can beat ANYONE!"
Sasuke could beat Kiba with one hand tied behind his back!
"YEAH!"
But the small girl remained quiet and timid looking on the outside.

Sasuke would never admit it when he was older, but he was scared shitless when this THING came out of nowhere and tackled him to the ground.
When he realized that it was KIBA, Sasuke blinked.
Whattheheck?!
She got up quickly, only to recieve an earful of Kiba's loud (and quite annoying) voice.
With a look of mixed shock and confusion, Sasuke waited for Kiba to finish.
When he did, all Sasuke could say was,
"What the hell, Kiba?!"
The Uchiha looked back at Sakura, and was glad to know that he hadn't taken her out as well. Because then he would be downright angry.
He turned back to Kiba, a more annoying expression on his face.
"Fight you for what, exactly? Look, it's not MY problem that you and Hyuuga-baka almost kissed. Accidents like that DON'T happen."
Little did Sasuke know, they DID, and when he was twelve, he would experience such an accident, and the weapons mistress wouldn't be there to stop it.

A look of murderous rage crossed Kiba's face. He paused for a moment, and couldn't really think of anything to say to that. Uchiha was supposed to taunt him, and they'd fight, and Kiba would win! This wasn't how it was supposed to go!
After another few seconds, the Inuzuka came up with a stupid-sounding comeback.
"...what, afraid I'd kick your sorry paper-fanned a**?"
