Then something happens that Talpa cannot imagine. The armor pulses with a pale light, lightning crackling around it. Though Shoni remains uncouncious, the armor takes on a life if it's own, standing and looking at Talpa. Shoni, her eyes closed, speaks with the voice of another.
"Your armor is dead and the hatred in this one grows as you try to control it," she says, "if you continue, you die here and now."
If anyone looks carefully, Shoni's feet are a few inches off the ground.

Chamoka looks to where this odd floating girl was standing. "oy... so much talk of death."
She realized that standing behind this giant was not the best idea... therefore she ran over to where Lynn was uncontious.

Talpa releases the snare and flings the green and white armor to ground with his power. "Die, then, if you would be so completely stubborn!"

"Who the heck are you!," Chamoka screamed at the giant, partly to destract him... and partly because she really wanted to know.

Shade had been still, lost in her own memories, trying to remember what she knew she had lost, since she DID remember having all of her memory back.
she came out of it with as much of a jolt that sent her ito it as the building around her collapsed.
When she emerged from the debris, she stared.
She knew that giant.
and somehow she knew what she was wearing was a subarmor, but what it was and what had happened to her pendant were a mystery to her.
But..... the one thing she did clearly remember was how to fight, and that.... thing.... needed to be faught.
"Ok, let's see if I can still remember how to *use* this thing...."
She started to run, charging in for an attack.

Then, the weather thought it would be funny if it started to rain. It added a mystifying, dramatic effect to the battle. As it did, an unconscious Lynn sneezed.

"Talpa.....Isn't that Latin for mole?"
"Focus!" She snarled in her head.
She began to walk up to Talpa.... and scold him.
"Look big man! or big demon or whatever you are! Didn't yo' mamma ever teach you I ain't polite to hit a lady!"
"yeah... that's tellin 'em."
talk2hand "If y'ain't gonna act like a civilized bein'! Ya should just leave now! Or we're all gonna kick your sorry butt!" There really was no point in stopping her. she was on a role.
She was most assuredly ready to fight him now, especially after firing herself up like that.
She ended her little speech by spitting on his foot. The spit on metal made a kind of corroding sound.
eek "Again with the weirdness! What am I... Mutating?"

The sound of someone spitting woke Lynn up. She looked around and saw Chamoka standing next to Talpa, saying something about a mole. Lynn wiggled around in the pile of dirt like a worm, trying to get out.

Shoni lays on the ground for a moment, perfectly still, then begins to wake and slowly gets to her feet. She looks at the others, trying to decide her next mode of attack.

Talpa pauses for a moment, not sure who he is going to attack next. After a moment, he stabs a sword into the ground. Underground tremors run through the soil. Talpa pulls the sword the out and the ground all around him explodes. Then, someone- he is not sure who- strikes him.
"Impudent fool!" Talpa shouts. "You dare defy Talpa, master of the Netherworld?"

Shoni slowly stands, grabbing her sword. But before she can attack, Tusuki matches the Ronin in stance, blades locked.
"You should have stayed down," Tusuki says, "I would have spared you, but now you'll die."
"Wolfriders cannot kill Wildcats these days," Shoni says, "our blood is too thin. Either way, only one will die tonight."

"It's the apocalypse, I'm mutating, and my favorite pen pal is buried....Things just can't get any better,"
Ignoring her negativity's sargassum Chamoka desperately tried to conjure rational thought.
"Where can I get useful info on this situation."
"The dying guy!...Lynn!" She screamed back, "Follow me!"
She ran back and yanked her friend's arm.
"You ain't gettin' out of this that easy old man!"

Tusuki grins slightly, pushing her attack. But somehow, a weak Shoni holds her own. The two seem in a stale-mate, the light of Shoni's sword counteracting the darkness in Tusuki's own. The power starts to spiral around them.
