Those were so cool!! But I think he's getting old his Megatron voice in the interview don't exactly sound like Megs in the cartoon confused

I like how.....different he sounds.....I thought the way he handled Prime in the animated movie was already pretty damn good, but this is a nice suprise.....
The lips don't piss me off like alot of other random fanboys out there seem to be freakin' but.....it does look kinda dumb....

If it's any consolation, the lip animation seems to be unfinished in that shot. My guess is by the time it hits the screen it'll be more streamlined, and textured to hell and back.

While I partially agree with you, it is not total. Welker was my favoured voice for Megs- by a large margin. Then, upon hearing his rendition of Megs in some interviews for the game to accompany the movie, it sounded much older. Much more worn. Time has a habit of doing that to flesh, and perhaps it is time for an update. As damned near sacrilage as that sounds, it is how I feel.
Now my agreement comes in that I do not particularly like the thought of Megs as an arial form. What is the point of having "Air Commander Starscream" if the man in charge is a flying Con himself? A tank would have been far preferable to me- but that is squabbling. I can live with the jet.
Seeing in the previews how they handle Screamer flying under a bridge, and using his momentum to transform and flip up onto the bridge in question makes me appreciate that they won't screw up the flying ones.

My opinion is that the lip came about from observing those new Primes when they all seem to have some "lip/mouth" underneath a face plate. If my guess is right they would put a cover plate over his face when he's in battle like Optimus Primal in Beast Wars, which won't be as bad as the Robot in Disguise version where Optimus has a RED, wide, open mouth confused

I like the "battle mask" idea. The lips are fine, even Johnny Five needed some sort of facial feature to emote on the big screen, and somehow I can't see Prime working well with those huge Groucho Marx eye panels. But when it comes time to throw down, up comes the faceplate, and you just know that Optimus has done the Cybertronian equivalent of taking off his jacket and handing it to a buddy.
