"Cameo" Summon Materia... depending upon your luck, you get ANY famous character from ALL of the VG companies... like if you had maxed luck, then Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid would uncloak infront of the enemies, and depending on the type (i.e. weak, strong, arial, grounded) and for a weak enemy, he punches or shoots them with a silenced socom, for strong ones he uses the nikita guided missiles, for arial he uses a stinger missile, and for grounded he shoot's 'em up with the FA-MAS, oh and he will be one of many VG characters to appear from Konami. Others like Mega Man and Zero from Capcom will appear to attack with the materia as well... along with others from countless other VG companies.
"I fuggin' win!" Materia... Drops your luck to 0, but if the materia actually works, you win... REGARDLESS!!!.

schoogie it'd be cool if you won a summon materia after beating each of the WEAPON's, and you could summon that weapon with the materia ^_^ I like his idea the best

a materia that fills up the limit gauge
another one that summons aeris wedge biggs and jessie
wedge punches the enemies biggs steals them jessie puts a bomb on them and aeris casts invincibility on the summoners team mrgreen ninja idea idea idea cool

weather maker
as it levels up, you can cast different weather conditions that change the battle field.
basic would be rain, but more advanced things would be like blizzard and sandstorm. it could negatively effect physical attacks, but it increases exp receival and makes the battles look cooler.

oh, I got another idea.
in FFX, tonberry had a cool anti-aeon attack called voodoo.
voodoo materia that creates a small mimic of the enemy which the caster attacks and that deals 9999 damage and casts death.

Let's see... create a materia... got it!
A materia that replaces its user with Sephiroth for 3 turns. I'm not just talking about weak old Sephiroth from the past, though. I'm talking about Sephiroth's second boss form, the White Horse! This would totally rule. Your Agility would be so fast that, within the 3 turns, you get to attack 12 times! 900 MP, 9500 HP, and Infinite barrier and M-Barrier! All Special attacks and Limit Gauge fills up with 3 attacks!
2 words: TOTALLY DOMINATING!

Oh, NEXT IDEA!
A summon materia called Gay Bar. xd blaugh xd rofl blaugh rofl
A random choice will be made between girls and boys. They will appear in a randomly chosen location in the game, altered with green and purple lights. If the majority is females, all female characters in the game appear with red lacy underwear and grope each other numerous times for a 20 minute period. If the majority is males, all male characters appear in leather "Banana-hammocks" xd and commence jumping at each other with waists thrusted forward.
If the female sequence is chosen, the enemy is paralyzed for 3 turns.
If the male sequence commences, both the enemy and party are poisoned, paralyzed, confused, HP cut in half, no MP, attack accuracy reduced to 2%, and a random sex toy falls on a randomly chosen friend or foe each turn, reducing their HP by 1/4 if it's a male toy, and curing them of all status ailments, HP reductions, MP reductions, and is immune to the effects of this materia for the next 5 turns.

A materia eh? Hm... let's make a balanced one shall we? I think perhaps a materia called;
Enemy: Summon materia that allows you to summon the aid of any enemy you've fought and/or manipulated. The enemy will appear from a red and white ball, and stronger or larger enemies come from a purple and black ball. The ultimate enemy, Sephiroth, comes from a ball all his own.
Two word description: Poke Mon.

I would make a Ifrit/Bahamut summon where they would both attack at the same time.

i'd make a mindcontrol materia...it allows you tocontrol enemies and force them to attack themselves!

i'd make a multiply materia...it allows you to multiply all of the allies in battle and use them in the fight for upto 3 turns!

I would make a materia that allows you to kill whomever you wanted in the game. Like, even your own party members........heh heh *cough*Aeris*cough cough*
