--when almost the whole bus sings last year's show. out on tune, very loud, and sometimes not singing your own part. only the freashmen feel left out
--you are out trick-or-treating with a group of band geeks, you pass by another group aof band geeks across the street, and after teasing and passing eachother, the ADM calls you to attention and your whole group snaps to attention and yells one (i hate you andrew!)

popcorn459 secretofreyn Mello-phony I was responsible for one of our school's many Dr. Beat's destructions. Our section stole it and just beat the crap out of it. Good times. It was recorded and put on our band video, and our director was like, "So that's where it went..." But the instrument thing, I haven't stayed on the same instrument for more than a season. Mello-Baritone-Sousa! dude, that's awesome. a chick who plays sousaphone!!! We have 2 girl sousaphones in our band. They switched from clarinet because there was a sousa shortage. those who like girl tubas missed out last year, 3 girls and only one boy, but he was cool and got the girl vote girl tubas unite!

-When the director of the marching band of the university you want to go to already knows your name, your instrument, your intended major, and that your application was accepted...and the tryouts for marching band aren't until the summer.
-When you base your decision on which colleges you apply for on whether or not they have a marching band, and how good that marching band is. (And after that you evaluate their uniform...)
-When you're visiting colleges and you can locate the band room from any point on campus...without a map.

Don't know if anyone posted these, but I'm too lazy to look:
You're sick, and you have to stay home, but you cry because you're missing band that day.
You schedule appointments around band so you can still attend that day.

- for fun u get in step with someone else
-u know u have been in percussion too long when u have a tan line of ure carrier from "band camp"
-when ure say,"do u want to here a joke?" and the person,from band , says i already konw its gonna be perverted
when u don't practice at all but ure still realy good

witchy_elphaba i hate dr. beat.... you know you're a band geek when you actually fall for when your band director says "one more time..." Yup...me too! Everytime he says that, it makes me wonder why i believe that everytime. You're a band geek when someone says "Starting Line" and you run to your spot on the field for halftime

You know your a Band Geek when you actually sit down with your friends and talk about how much you miss marching season.
You also know you're a band geek when on the way back from football games you get everyone on your bus to sing their parts to the song 'Hey Baby'.

scjsport 5) You find that you're walking on the same foot as your friends through the hallways. You know you're a band geek when it bothers you that people aren't walking on the same foot as you lol it does get annoying and then u try to get everybody on the same foot and they look at u crazy
