((tis fine))
Amari nodded slowly and gave a weak smile, memories of that day were not very pleasant at all, it was actually a day he would rather wipe from his memory. He had almost lost Maawio as a friend and probably would have if he hadn't gathered his courage to return to her.
"I would never have killed him...the whole thing went further than I expected it to." He said sadly, sitting down on his rump. "I only meant to scare him but...obviously things got out of paw."
The smile returned to his features however as Bakhti seemed to cheer up and he nodded in agreement. "Maybe one day she'll come visit this place. You're the first lioness I've seen here so I'm not sure where the others might be. They must be around somewhere though, this place is so wonderful it must have attracted a few rogues to live amongst the trees."

She decided not to talk any more on the fight. It was a bad memory for oth of them as she had feared that she had lost both her friends only to find she hadn't. She smiled at him and nuzzled him again happy to still have her friend.
She then turned and looked at the jungle, "Care to explore with me? I am hungry anyway and would love something to eat!" She smiled realising that she was always hungry though she hadn't eaten since she started to track her Amari.

Maawios large eyes looked around and she smiled, tracking further towards Amari and Bahkti. She smiled and nodded to Bahkti, as she was now behing Amari, but she eyed her as if to say. "Dont say anything."
She sighed. "Yeah, maybe one day I'll visit..." She said, smiling again, showing several white teeth./size]

Amari agreed swiftly, he hadn't eaten for a long long time now and his stomach was calling to be fed. He supposed that after the eventful past days he hadn't had much of a chance, and hunting wasn't something he liked to do that much.
"Yes food sounds like a good idea to me, it'll give me a chance to watch a skilled hunter in action." He winked at her, a mischievious grin spreading across his face.
Then suddenly he heard someone behind him and he whirled around, eyes wide with disbelief. Was this some sort of mirage? He blinked his hazel eyes and tilted his head quizzically. "Maawio?"

She blinked her pretty deep blue eyes and gave him a warm smile. "Of course its me." She spoke softly, with her kind gaze looking over her friends. She pawed the ground nervously and gave him a nuzzle. "How have you been? I know it hasnt been long, but still."

Bakhti smiled at Maawio and then laid down guessing that they wouldn't be going anywhere now. She was certain one day Maawio and Amari would mate together. She never spoke of her thoughts though just watched them.

He nuzzled at her, an affectionate hum reverberating from his throat at her touch, before he opened his hazel eyes to glance at her. Only Maawio could bring the softness into his eyes and only she could fill that small hole which had been left in his heart.
Why was she here? He didn't care as long as she was, that was all that mattered.
With a flick of his tail he lay down on the ground, stretching out his limbs and yawning once again. He felt relaxed and content here even though he was hungry.
"How about that hunt?" He asked of Bakhti who had laid down near them. "I don't know about you but I'm ravenous."

She stood up stretching and yawning flashing her sharp dagger like teeth at the lions. She then shook her head and smiled, "Yeah sure. You can lead the way." She smiled and nudged him trying to make him move.

He chuckled as she nudged him a little, stepping sideways and giving her a small tap with his paw. Then with a fluid movement of his youthful form he turned and strode back past the moss-covered rock and into the lucious trees.
The leaves rustled together to create a wonderful harmony and the bugs now buzzed around harmlessly on ethereal wings that flickered many amazing colours.
Flowers had opened, large petals drawing in the dappled light which had managed to break through the canopy and all sorts of creepy crawlies could be seen in the grass and branches.
He curved his head back, shaking his mane as he did so and glanced at Bakhti. "I'm not sure what we'll find here to hunt. To tell you the truth I haven't seen much here other than the usual bugs and flies." He pulled a face and then grinned. He was in a good mood.

She smiled at him enjoying the feel of the leaves scratching at her sides and the sound of the flies buzzing about her head. "I dont care I am sure there will be something. Anything will do if it is edable!" She hoped to find something she wanted to live here after all.

Amari nodded in agreement lowering his form as he continued through the trees, when suddenly a new sound rattled ahead of them and he slowed his pacem dropping back until he was walking beside Bakhti.
He angled his head towards her slightly, "Do you hear that?" He questioned in a hushed voice, eyes never leaving the close-knit line of trees ahead of them. "What do you think it is? Boar?" He drew his ears forward and snarled as the adrenaline of the hunt began to pound through his viens, lips pulling back to reveal lethal canines.
"You ready?" He asked, knowing that it would be best not to get in the way of a skilled huntress.

She smiled as she moved silently around the boar keeping her body as close to the ground as possible. She didn't know if the young one would kill it if she sent it to him so once she laid down in the undergrowth out of sight she waited for the young male to drive the creature towards her.

He knew to be careful around boars, they could be extremely grumpy and they were also extremely powerful, their protruding tusks lethal weapons when used in a time of peril. With these facts safely remembered in his mind Amari stalked his prey, hazel eyes fixed onto the creature as it snuffled along the ground looking for roots to dig up.
The young lion entered hunt mode, his muscles bunching as he moved forwards with an almost robotic movement. He was aware of the wind, of the ground beneath his paws and of the beady eyes of the boar as it checked the brush for danger.
Then suddenly he lowered himself, form becoming lost amongst the grass as he prepared himself for flight.
three...the boar moved closer, snuffling noisily in search for food.
two...it turned it's back, raising the ugly head to gaze about it.
one...Amari pounced, forepaws outstretched and claws unsheathed as he tackled the boar.
Prey and predator tumbled across the ground, a high pitched squeal ringing about the jungle scaring a cloud of birds into the sky above them, then suddenly the boar was up and bounding away from Amari's grasp and dashing past the area where Bakhti was concealed.

Her muscles tensed a little but relaxed as she pounced, her jaws locking onto the boar. Her claws attached themselves to its sides. She had managed to get hold of the creatures neck straight away but its neck was fat and tough. She pulled it to the ground and in the space of seconds had her jaws clamped around the beasts mouth and nose suffocating the creautre.

Amari roared their triumph, rearing up a little on his hind legs and stretching out his front legs, before dashing over to where Bakhti was suffocating the boar. It's thick hide was obviously causing a little bit of difficulty but he could already see the life draining from its eyes. It wouldn't be long now.
He loped over, flexing his claws as he slashed at its hindquarters which were still kicking a little as it fought for life. The movement ceased soon after however and Amari beamed down at pride, he knew his faith in this lioness hadn't been misplaced. She was experienced and clever in all aspects of survival.
