The first spell I ever wrote (that was not a love spell that I half-a**ed) was a truth spell that I cast because I have two older brothers who like to pin everything on me, it wasnt a revenge type thing I just wanted the truth to be revealed it worked too. I have it written down somewhere and it involved a piece of paper with the lie told written on it and I don't remember the rest because it was a long time ago.
But the first chant I wrote I love to sing all the time, I find it relaxing to sing it when I am trying to meditate or draw:
Windys breath and
Fires Light
Child of the seas
Earths the mother of us all
Spirits guide me
I love to sing it because it is the first songlike thing that I ever wrote as well. (The first line was inspired by cardcaptors if you ever/never watched the show windy was the name of the wind card)
Recently I wrote one to find a lost freind That is at my house

The first spell I cast (which was the other day, yes, I'm that new to all this) was a sleep spell. I have been on the oddest sleeping schedule this summer, to the point where I was practically nocturnal. If only I could remember the spell I would tell you but I fell asleep not long after and I forgot it when I woke up. Darn. sad
But I am proud to say, that I have not attempted a love spell yet. Not saying I won't, just saying I haven't. smile

I fondly remember my first spell, it was an accident really.^_^ I was about 12 or 13, and had been practicing a chant. I remember I had had a really bad day at school (very unpopular. lol) and i was focusing on that day and how much I wished people would just like me. The next day people I didn't really know, and people that had claimed to hate me for awhile at school began wanting to talk to me and hang out.
It didn't last long, but it was fun. I'll never do anything like that again though, I know better, and am glad things that could have gone very wrong didn't. heart

The first one I ever used was acctually a healing spell for my boy friend who had a terrible stomach flu that just wasn't going away. I did it while I was camping. I had heard of it online and put it in my BOS the spell was :
Out of the marrow and into the bone,
Out of the bone and into the blood,
Out of the blood and into the skin,
Out of the skin and into the hair,
Out of the hair and into the forest,
Out of the forest and into the sand,
As surely as Goddess made Woman and Man.
Haha but I've found a better healing spell recently, so I don't use that one much anymore.

My first spell was a protection spell that I did on my mate. It's really easy to use because all you need is the name of the intended. You say it three times after the spell.
I call upon thee,
Sacred power of three,
To the ones of old with such power.
I call upon thee to assist with weaving a shield from my aura.
To protect the one who's name I call,
Protect them til the day I fall.
Send back the evil to the one who rents it.
Protect the one who was to receive it.
Craft this spell of my energy,
This is my will, so mote it be.
Protect: {Name of intended}
It worked the very next day so then I did it on my momma. Both of them have some really tough shields around them, so I surprised that they actually felt my protection on them. ^ ^

My first one was created for defensive purposes. I was targeted many times by a few threatened people. this amazingly worked quite well. it was my first and most powerful spell.
Simply grab three mirrors and create a triangle around with point being directly in front of you. position them so your image is seen mainly your mind. say this spell twice.
Mirror mind
I feel you now and ever more
leave me be or you are me
you use your mind against my own
let what you do reflect on you
{insert name of enemy}
NOw be sure the entity, intruder, or person thats harming you's name is in your head make sure it is the right person. This will not work if your not being attacked in any way. THis also inadvertly works with posessions of the small kinds. mind controlling and of the like. so it comes in handy.

My first spell was a healing spell.
I performed it yesterday for a friend of
mine who was having quite the upset
stomach (with his permission of course).
I made a herbal peppermint tea
and recited the Encanto Curativo, which I
found in the Library sub-forum on this website.
I'm pretty sure it worked since he hasn't complained
of any stomach problems since.

Evening everyone! I just recently began practicing magick after studying for well, almost a year now. I very much believe in the Norse Gods, and as such asked Thor's strength to help me in my first ritual, which I just performed tonight. *rubs back of head*
I would have to say it went well. Sure I know I made some mistakes in my ritual, though that's to be expected starting out.. There was a rather awe-inspiring power that filled me during the ritual.. it's still sort of there, but waning slowly. I asked for help in making someone not be so depressed while being away from me, and I feel that the Gods really did help me out here. I suppose the only way I will know for sure will be tomorrow.
I believe in my next ritual I will have a small sacrifice of alcohol and meat. (Can't exactly find any mead around here, which I feel would be tremendously better regarding the Gods I follow.)

I forget the words, but it's still hung up on the back of my door. My mom had a nasty habbit of going through my room and taking random things for her use and not returning them. Now the only time she goes in there is to put something in it. xp In fact, nobody except people I invite get further than the door. Lol. But my parents are pretty controlling, especially my mom. It's annoynig.

General ritual to ask for blessings, things, help from the Goddess/God:
1) Get a Heatproof Cauldron/Bowl and some paper.
2) Write on the Paper what is it you seek.
3) Fold the paper and place it in the Bowl along with any offerings such as Herbs.
4) Take the bowl outside and light it, make sure the smoke reaches the heavens.
5) Dump the ashes in a natural source of water or any wilderness.

My first spell was actually the one that confirmed my desire to become closer to the Goddess and God.
I do no recall the exact words, but I had been experiencing horrible migraines and stomach aches for the past three or four days and I'd pleaded to the Goddess for help whilst laying on the floor due to the pain.
I fell asleep and the next day I woke up, all the pain was gone. It was the most enlightening experience I have ever had. It was also the first and only spell I have tried up until now.

Ive noticed that most of the spells rhyme. do they have to rhyme in order to work or is it just how they turn out? sorry im just curious im new to all this. my first spell i just wrote today is like a protection from pain or stress.
This temporary escape from pain shall hold
Let it be known no harm will bw done,
This prism of hope shall hold even in the darkest of times,
Let the gods and goddesses guide me/you to the path of peace and tranquility.
i know it sucks but i think it works cause everytime i chant it i tingle on the inside like shivers down the back ofyour neck but its all over
