Quillan Games ticked me off! I cant belive that they killed off another Traveler before we even got to meet him! And then Nevva Winter (who me and my freinds constantly joke about her name) goes and joins Saint Dane? Then that whole deal with Leberge (i spelled his name right?) and his sister (can remember her name at this time) are really from Veelox, and how they hate Bobby becouse he was just trying to help. Leberge creeps me out (i hate clowns) ....... And i got completely off topic didnt i?

starting with this book, everything changes. i believe in the early books it was basically black and white, good vs. bad, but now... everything is grey. it never really said whether pendragon won or lost quillian...

Well actually they do mention that he loses Quillan. I mean, he didn't change anything and Mr. Pop, they're only hope and history, was destroyed, and Saint Dane aquired a protige. I'd have to say he lost that battle. But you're right, good and bad isn't as clear anymore. Bobby's playing by Saint Dane's rules now, mixing the territories and fighting fire with fire. So now he's become lost in Saint Dane's world where the truth is muddled and nothing's clear.

That was the point. The author of the Pendragon series is quite masterful, he knows how to twist the story at exactly the right moment so that it ticks you off enough that you keep reaing, even tho you may hate doing so.

Je suis a toi Shouldn't we change this topic to the next book? Oh yes, ahem, excuse me. My mind got carried away there. Anyways.... I believe the latest book, Pilgrims, to be very VERY suspenseful and full of great quotes, but too much Andy Mitchell and not enough of the Dane-meister himself. But plenty of Mark, that made me happy! I must admit, I'm starting to like Mark more and more!
