He's mostly just out for himself, trying to make money and what have you. If you *really* want to know about Pete, he has an interesting Biographical entry in the Wikipedia. Pete apparently had a commonlaw wife for a while that was a distant cousin of his. He also apparently had a real contribution to make to the US Merchant Marines in WWII. Goof Troop: A 90's TV show in which Pete was Goofy's next door neighbor, had a wife and two kids, and ran a used car lot. The Goofy movies were sequals to this continuity, as was Mikey's Magic Christmas (or whatever it was called.) Wikipedia says that Max was previously Jr., but Jr. doesn't look a thing like Max and his name is apparently George Geef Jr.... Stupid thing to be curious about, I know.

I use to kind of wonder if Goofy had a thing for Pete that kept him from realizing what a jerk Pete was to him (no offense meant to Pete fans...).

Now now, don't get me wrong.
I LOVE the Disney characters. If it weren't for them, KH would just be another ff! They're great. <33

I don't like to slash them either. But people have like worse, and to each their own.
Everyone is hatin' on Disney characters in Kingdom Hearts these days. They're like, "Oh my god, they shouldn't have Disney in there, the game would be better without them, Donald and Goofy suck, Mickey a king oh how stupid, blah blah blah" while I'm over praying to my King Mickey shrine. (what? he pwns!)

I know, the Disney characters are the reason I play Kingdom Hearts, it is what attracted me to the game. I just don't understand why the Final Fantasy characters were in there. They don't play any part, really. It would be better without the Final Fantasy characters, (don't get me wrong, I like Final Fantasy too. But I've been around Disney longer.)

Oh, wait, I'm not done yet. People tell me that the Disney characters suck. Well, if they mean that, they are saying that Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Axel... *insert the rest of the Kingdom Hearts characters names in there* suck. Because they ARE half Disney.
