NO KAROTZ, EVAR!
Dear User,
It was just a ******** sig disable. gonk
User "Detention Center?" "Illegal on Gaia?" Have you the faintest clue how ridiculous this phraseology makes you and the people who run this site sound? You're the trained show-pony of a cartoon make-believe website, and you expect me to take these puffy-chested, overblown "penalties and repercussions" seriously? I was more bent out of shape over a $25 parking ticket I got 7 years ago than I am about "OH NO, MY FAKE CHARACTER IN SOME ONLINE FLIGHT OF FANCY BEING PUT IN...DUM DUM DUMMMMMM... THE DETENTION CENTER! Call out the national guard! Free the Iran Contra hostages! Liberate Iraq! FREE TIBET, ******** far as I'm concerned, you can take your "fine" of an integer difference of 100 in an SQL database entry on your server and cram it straight up your a** while you continue to sloppily fellate your copyright-holding corporate masters. By the way, we have such things as throwaway E-mail addresses, dynamic IPs, and anonymous proxies. Think of my account as a variant on the mythical hydra: ban one, two more dupes are registered in its place, from wildly different IPs and E-mail addresses. Hubris only runs so far, and unlike my past patterns of can't-touch-me mockery, these account names are guaranteed not to follow similar naming conventions despite my desire to rub the faces of the Gaia-stapo in their powerlessness to do...well, just about anything right. Not only will the AACS processing key and all subsequently cracked keys be made public by yours truly, now that you've alerted me to the fact that it makes Das Fuhrer Lanzer scream and cry and jump up and down shouting "IT'S NOT FAIR!" they'll be so done in a discreet and inconspicuous manner, likely via channels of communication over which you and your fellow jack-booted thugs have no oversight or so-called "authority." The worst thing you can ever do in any effort to quash an unpopular opinion, movement, or secret is to force it underground. Maybe I'll tell 10 people here the 09 F9 key. Maybe I'll tell a hundred. Per day. Per clone account I register. Or maybe I don't even care. Maybe I have no intention of doing all the horrible, mean, icky, didn't-mommy-ever-tell-you-to-respect-copyright things I'm threatening. Maybe all I want is to get a rise out of you, and laugh at you laughing at me thinking "What a wingnut" as I, in turn, think "poor gullible sap, thought I was serious when I was just ******** with him after all." Whatever the case may be, rest assured that should I desire to, I'm more than capable of doing plenty of "damage" to the we're-whores-to-copyright-and-everyone-should-give-Japanese-animators-all-their-money-food-drink-and-shelter-be-damned modus operandi of Gaia Online, and that from what I've learned through my own contact with other members here, again through channels external to the Third Gaian Reich (boy-oh-boy, ain't Godwin gonna s**t a brick when he reads this?) and thus outside the reach of its would-be iron fist, I'm far from the only one interested in doing so. So now you're going to go scan PMs to find out who's being a despicable human being, because there's no crime in the world worse than threatening the profit margins of media corporations, but you forget that E-mail exists. Well, I guess no more publicizing member E-mail addresses in profiles. But you forget that instant messaging exists. No more of that, then. Oh, but you forgot IRC. And VoIP. And...well, it would take me all night to run down the laundry list of ways we can have our fun kicking around the 3-year-old child that is Gaia in the midst of its copyright-induced temper tantrum, and I have better things to do with my time. Like watching some Hong Kong anime bootlegs. I think it's Evangelion for tonight, or maybe Kenshin. Ta-ta! And cue the Vir Cotto finger wave.

I just love how a two page tirade about how he'll dedicate his online life to single-handedly bringing down Zero, Gaia Online, its evil corporate masters, and the Third Reich (who is clearly behind this all) doesn't qualify as overblown and arrogant, but simply disabling a sig in violation of site rules does.

When they came for the sigs, I said nothing. When they came for the copyrights I said nothing. When they came for the Jews, I said nothing. When they came for me, it was too late.

Jezz Shirokori Those PMs had me laughing so hard!! I don't get such interesting PMs. Just people trying to start Rp's with me but I delete them before reading them fully. The best possible PMs come when you're doing things from the staff end of Gaia. It is rare that I go through a day of moving threads with at least a few asking if I'm a person. And then there's the comically indignant, like one guy stating that he was 27 and it was rather uppity of a kid probably in their teens to move his thread without consulting him about it. So I told him to "check the age in my profile, sonny-boy".

I'm rude and tend to ignore random PMs/unbalanced trades, and thus I miss the true comedy. At the same time I may be 'feeding the birds' and not letting them learn how to fend for themselves because if someone is polite and quick about it, I tend to give them back their misprices. (Though I suppose that's not -that- much money lost, the really big misprices I tend to avoid for fear of hacked items.) I did get this one though that gets bonus stupid points for using images. leaving g i a 002 Hello. I will trade this item for your Western Zodiac. if you accept send a trade. Oh little tagged anything-box. I like the little note that tells me how 2003 items are handled.

For me, it wasn't anything in specific, but more like four PMs ironically being recieved by me in the same day all regarding my profile mentioning D.Gray-Man. To tell the truth, I was creeped out just a bit.

I get PMs from people begging me to add them because they love Roy and or FMA, people asking me for money and the most constant and prevalent... people telling me to shut because they don't like what I say in the AMC.
