Ryujisama " Oh, well if loosing movement in my legs is all, then by all means, do continue... Come on, and face me! I think I failed to mention that I never liked "Hide and Seek" as a kid..." This was, of course, a lie, but Rovell was getting tired of being strung around like a puppet. He noticed his flying blade nearly missing his opponent; it was getting closer to the mark, but he needed the blade to stay on him in order to effectively attack in this situation. Still, he could only wait untill the right moment came for him to counter his opponent's tactic. Meanwhile, Moira's Promise grew stronger, still, and it's effects began to take a physical effect on Rovell's body. The red glow on his body slowly began to become overtaken by the same blue glow that emitted from his blades. Rovell's confidence grew knowing that his speed was becoming more and more intense with each passing moment, but what good is speed when you can't use it? Still, even if he moved, his opponent could still see him, and that didn't improve his situation any better. But maybe he could use that to his advantage... Deciding that it would be better to give the hidden man a challenge, Rovell began to hop randomly in a diamond pattern. This, coupled with his increased speed soon began to give off the effect he was hoping for. In the small diamond he was hoping in, Rovell had succesfully created 3 additional after-images, and it gave off the illusion that there were 3 of him randomly hoping in a diamond pattern. 'If he wants to attack me in the dark, he's gotta figure out which one of these is actually me!' he thought. And since they were all just a product of his increased speed and reaction, then they all were, incidently himself. No matter, though. Trei hadn't been planning on a head on attack, Rather, he performs a rather interesting manuever. Next comes the fun part...channeling energy into Ryuujin, Trei casts one of his favorite spells: Moirae's Web. 75 threads of barrier energy snake forward from the blade, invisible due to the lack of light, but illumined to their caster's will. Rather than concentrate them, he directs the threads to spread out all over the path of his opponent's movements...any time the man steps on one, the thread will latch to his shoes and snake its way up, weightless as a hair. However, once enough are latched on, they will begin their work, connecting together and binding his opponent from the legs up...Edit- Vit-12 Qi-2 Spells-t3-1, t2-1, t1-1 Spell Duration: Nightsoul-3 posts Moirae's web-3 posts.

Well, so far, Rovell had suceeded in making a fool out of himself, but at least his opponent wasn't taking pot-shot's at him from within the darkness. Rovell and his after-images proceeded their plan in creating a moving target for his opponent to loose his focus on, but while his opponent stopped talking, Rovell got worried that something was up... well he always knew something was up, but something more than usual. His suspiscions were confirmed when he tripped over some invisible force, and could feel his legs coming closer and closer together. He was slowing but surely being binded together by something, but he couldn't quite see what it was. By squinting his eyes and using the light emitting from his sword and his body, he could make out very thin fibers wrapping themselves all over his body. He had to abandon his efforts to attack his opponent and tend to himself. While struggling probably made things worse for him, Rovell lifted up his head and shouted " Reverto!" Normally, the blade he allowed to "find" his opponent would've taken longer to return to him, but due to Moira's Promise it's speed increase allowed it to return near-instantly. Reacting to Rovell's thoughts, the blade skimmed it's owner's body, severing the threads that bound him. However, seeing as though the threads were so close to his body, the blade cut him a few times in the process. As soon as Rovell was freed, He spun on his back, and went into a spinning handstand. Simultaneously, he pushed off the ground, swipped away at the fibers that bound his free hand, planted the sword he had in his hand in the ground, and landed on the sword's hilt in a "ninja spire" fashion. After being safely above ground, he took hold of the sword that freed him. He looked at his legs to examine how badly they were cut... There were little cuts here and there, but nothing too serious. He'd have to break out the sewing kit once this was over. " Ok.... can't stay on the ground now... and I nearly turned my lower half into Julien Fries..." He sighed in frustration. This "friendly match" was not starting to be as friendly as he thought it would be. " Well, hopefully this dark veil will lift, or he'll decide to attack me soon... If I wait a bit longer, I can generate enough light to possibly see the guy, but it's not at max yet... God... what to do...?" He was starting to run out of ideas, and the frustration was forcing him to consider his "last-ditch-effort" to win this. He had to save it for last... He tried his best to repress the thought of using that power untill he truly needed it. Untill then, he can only wait untill Moira's Promise was in full effect so that he'd act as his own personal lantern to see through the darkness. Enub!a Her eyes met his, and humoured smile crossed her lips and she poked his arm. "You led me in there." Her hand drifted to his, fingertips just brushing his hand, then moved it back to her side hesitantly. "Oh. I guess I did," he chuckled, all the while looking deeper into the eyes of Tyrannas. "Hm.." The fighter paused, thinking, as his eyes wavered from the woman's eyes to the beings around him. Barely any of them looked human- which slightly frightened him.

And now they were both balancing on their blades...interesting, ya?
The only difference is this: Trei still has about 50-60 threads remaining, and they are now ALL converging on his now static opponent. And this time, Trei was willing to wait until they had all attached to his opponent before willing them to bind, when his whole body would be trapped.
"We can call it quits NOW, if you like...I hope you'll forgive the way I play, but when you used your wind blade I assumed you wished to be treated almost as a regular opponent..." Trei's grin is audible in his voice, as well as a mild weight behind his breath. However his opponent feels, its clear that HE at least is enjoying himself. "Gotta admit...it's been fun, ya?"

"Fighter!"
As if the dust had a mind of its own, Snow materialized at the center of ground zero, the dust dispersed and cleared of its contents. The orbs were gone too, and only his right weapon was unsheathed, dangled loosely by the contraptures of his right hand. Yes, it did take a few seconds to realize that Vercellius had again jumped through space-time to avoid the onslaught, but it also gave Snow the critical piece of analysis that he required.
Vercellius isn't just fighting by himself. There's something else that is also working for him, even if Snow can't see nor detect its presence. Which meant that Vercellius...
He pointed his blade towards the opponent who stood not far away from ground zero. "I think its time that we cut the crap, and get to the dance, shall we?"
Not entirely certain that this strategy will work, Snow is willing to bet on close range combat to affirm his suspicions.

"How wonderful."
Sadism dripped from each word in an entirely unhealthy facination. Giddy with the moment and the potential to envoke any extreme of emotion he played with his knives. Twirling them about as he readied himself.
"Well shall we?"
With humour in his tone a laugh rippled through his slender frame as Vercellius charged foward. In a flurry of steps he performed a turn in half stride. His left hand was facing Snow, palm out, with the knife gripped between his two left most fingers.
And then it happened, the wave was produced as earlier. There would be no chance to dodge it as the wave was moving at 340 meters per second and with not even a fourth of the distance between them the ground traveling wave would strike just the same as it had earlier.
But that was only half of it, when his foot came down he slid through an angle and he seemed to leap foward the remaining distance between them invisibly and just behind the wave.
Coming out against a split second after the wave stuck he was passing Snow by, a glint of steel being nothing more then a blur of motion as Vercellius lightly ran it along the man's neck.
Coming to a halt three meters behind Snow he stopped his motion with a jerk that shook his body before straightening out.

There is no need to dodge the wave at all. If Vercellius's wave required a certain time to release and to execute, then would Snow merely stand there and wait for the enemy to attack first?
Even as Vercellius charged forward, Snow too is on the move. Already suspecting that it would most likely be the same method that caught him off guard in the beginning, he raised the blade to the air and flicked it to the ground, transferring his own energy to the steel shaft in a vibrating frequency, manipulating the particles in front of him to cast a void of empty space between himself and the sonic waves. If the attack uses the same theory and mechanics in wave form, then certainly the empty space would negate and even deflect the wave to a complete standstill before it could even reach Snow's body.
As for the angle jump....
From all of the current moments fought against Vercellius, he had already observed four major things. One was the hidden equipment of the resonator, near the left hand. It is concealed, and doesn't seem to need a catalyst to boost its abilities, which meant that close range combat is risky. The second was the distortion jump, allowing Vercellius instant shift in location, regardless to distance, meaning that Vercellius can easily toy with the opponent with this high advantage. The third was premonition abilties before Snow's attacks could barely land a blow on him, and the final and most important one, Vercellius' mention of Ithaqua, the elemental manipulator.
There is a reason why Snow dispersed the orbs previously, as to flood the area around his perimeter with sensitive, malleable energy that he is able to use and control. In order to tone down the problem that the energy might be detected by Vercellius, he intentionally lowered the energy output to a mere detection mode, so that when or if Vercellius gate-jumps out of the angle, Snow would be able to detect the shift of the opponents body taking a physical shape to occupy the initial empty space around him, allowing Snow to react before Vercellius can pull the trick twice.
In a flash of action as Snow detected a distortion in front of him, he gave a sudden palm strike at the physical object during the angle out, ducking down to avoid the possible attack that Vercellius had flashed before the wave resonation.
The sword is also at the ready to swing upwards to keep Vercellius out of offensive, and if the palm strike struck true... The palm strike would be one of Snow's key signatures -- a delay strike.

It was a slow rumble of laughter that rolled up from the pit of his stomach to spill out his lips. Deranged in nature Vercellius took the blow with a calmness that was not called for the situation at hand.
His blade may have past through air but he let it continue. Using the momentum of the first strike in combination with his failed strike to pivot him upon the tips of the toes on his right foot.
With the twirl his right hand came down and with the flat of the blade he struck Snow's sword; driving it downwards and twisting it to catch his foes blade against the cross guard.
Standing as he was upon his right foot he looked like some manic dancer. His body stretched as the rest of him was perpendicular to the leg that supported him. Vercellius' left foot kicked out as he moved, that man may have ducked his first blow but his foot was striking lower.

Three minutes. The contact with Vercellius's stomach from Snow's hand is enough for Snow to inject a sudden burst of energy into the opponent, as the delay strike is now in effect. It won't show up on the enemy's conscience or detection, but the impact of the strike would surface when three minutes is up. As for now, the sensitivity of the strike would merely be felt as a mere palm strike.
Keeping Vercellius's blade at bay with the grapple of his blade's upward strength against Vercellius's intentional downforce in strength, Snow then kicked out with his own left foot as he got up, using the left kick to strike hard upon Vercellius's rising left foot as to attempt to force it back into a recoil.
A needle shifted out of place near the bracer Snow wore on his left wrist, and in a flash, four needles were gripped firmly on the left hand as he suddenly charged forward, applying weight to his left foot in a step before throwing the needles right at Vercellius's major nervous points near the central torso....
Acupuncture - an effective mean to immobilize muscle joints and paralyze, even to the point of damage on the body system. Unlike the collatoral damage of Vercellius's resonator, the needle is a concentrated attack that can damage the body far more greatly, because of its point of entry in the body system.
Keeping his body close so that if Vercellius tries to use the resonator, Snow would be able to respond quickly to halt the progression, it also served as a means to force Vercellius out of angling out, since both of their bodies are now in contact.
Hopefully.

As fluid in movements as a dancer Vercellius felt the shifting of pressures as he danced with this foe. Kicking off the ground with his right foot he used the upwards force Snow was applying upon his sword to push off of with his right to bring him into a spin.
His left leg moved to rapidly to be blocked fully, but it cliped the man; sadly while all that happened the heel of his right foot came around to strike Snow across the temple.
In midair Vercellius seemed to just float there as time seemed to slow down to the combatants; but time flowed just the same. It was only a testament to the speed at which they moved that gave the apperance.
The needles would prove useless, the twisting of his body causing them to strike against his right flank and glance off as they struck at the armour he wore beneath his clothes.
Throwing out his left arm to blunt the force of his tumble to the ground he rolled after hitting the dirt and sprung to his feet, ready for the next exchange of blows.

His head recoiled from the temporary blow, and a gash was there upon the head of Snow's temple. Bleeding lightly, he ignored the blistering pain and continued to charge relentlessly, raising the right blade so that it was parallel to the ground as he charged towards Vercellius as quickly as possible.
Reason being? He's trying to restrict him from using those two moves which may be fatal to Snow if the opponent manages to get some distance between the two.
Two minutes. The delay strike will then surface in approximately two minutes.
As soon as he got close, however, Snow then blasted the space in front of him with an empty void again before he gave a horizontal slash - from Vercellius's perspective, from the left to right - across the opponent's torso, readying another set of needles with his left hand in a counter-defensive readiness.

Vercellius took the movements in carefully, his mind sifting over what was happening. His training from so long ago resurfacing the longer the battle continued the more precision he would have; but then why let it go on that long.
There was a void infront of him where no air stirred before the slash of the blade. It came in from his right flank and was going for his torso, so be it.
Taking a quick step closer the blade caught upon his armour, he could feel the force of the strike as it spread through out his body. Clasping his right hand along the blade he trapped it at his side for the time being.
Laughing through any pain his left hand shoot forth and the infrasound device let forth a torrent of sonic waves straight into the man's body. There would be no way to dodge with them locked together as they were.

That was the cue. Whether his body is quicker than Vercellius, or his hand was slower than the opponent, this is it.
Snow yelled with defiance as he released the grip on his right blade and shifted to the right, in a pass-by motion as he skimmed past his own blade - one, to continue the fight, and two, to make it so that Vercellius's body would be in the way when the infrasonic device was activated. Immediately he stabbed with his left hand just as Vercellius's shot his own left hand forward, as Snow stabbed all four needles right into the opponent's palm to destroy the blasted resonator when it activated.
He balled his freed right hand tightly before mustering all the strength he can in that split second, to deliver a punch right at Vercellius's left face as he expelled all the energy into that strike....
Now it is time to see the results. Even if the resonator was activated before Snow's needles can hit it, his body would still be in the same action during the whole time, and the device would be rendered useless.
And the delay strike, which seems so far away from Snow's previous palm strike.... Explodes inside Vercellius body.
