Outside the tavern, there is a flickering image, and then at long last, Ksi finally appears before the establishment. It had been some time since he had been in this land, but at the request of an old friend, he has returned. He then casually strides into the tavern to see if Mr. Silvers was present, so that he may greet him.

*She nodded again to Spike before following Aykon to the shoe rack. Rhodes had almost forgotten the formal shoe removal, she grinned while plopping herself on the floor. First she unlaced the right boot then left before tugging them off in the same order. Her manner of shoe removal was much like a childs today. Taking both boots in her hand she inched up to a top 'cubby' and wedged them in.*
"What position would you want to but me in Aykon? I know some first aid, and although I can control the thirst.. some people might not want a vampire to handle medical situations. I make a lousy bartendar and an even worse cook."
*A small chuckle escaped her lips. Of couse her cooking was sub-par she hardly ate. The only things she had ever managed to cook was basic: soup, toast, sandwhich. There isn't much use for a cooking vampire in the clan. She combed her hand through her hair before continuing on.*
"I have some people skills as well. You know Aykon, just put me where you want. I'll try to do whatever you assign."
*Another heartbeat started to thump loudly in her ear and she instantly drowned it out. Stupid hunting senses. She wouldn't need them here. Someone had entered and she casually turned her head to see who it was. Another gentlemen. After giving the new comer a brief wave and smile, Rhodes directed her attention back to Aykon.*

Have you need of me for my skills or were you coming to take some time off from your blessed home in Kyoto? *Aykon's manner seemed much more stern and abrupt compared to how Rhodes would normally see him. Obviously this man who he was speaking to was of some import*

((Oh really? *pokes your avi*)) *Aykon waited for a salute from Ksi to be returned before he turned his attention to Rhodes and he was once again in his less formal manner. He nodded to you with happiness that you still honored his old rule if nothing else out of respect for him and the DarkSeas.*Well to be honest Rhodes, the type of work that you sound to be most interested in is that of a hostess...essentially you serve has the asistant to any guests. You would offer them a smile and a heartfelt welcome with the normal DarkSeas tenacity and would assist with showing them that which they seek. If they wanted food you would give it to them, if they desired a room you would offer that to them and explain our rates and rules, if they just wanted to know a history of the place then you would offer it as such. *At this point Aykon paused for a moment and made sure that you were on the same page before he completed his statement*This position pays the highest of the non management positions but can require the most work. For instance, since there are curently no established guests, you would have to spend most of your time cleaning...I hate to ask that of someone whom I hold so dear but that is the way it is. You, yourself, have admitted what you can and can't do so you would just have to work on your strengths and weaknesses. He is a man of great power but his mannerisms are more common...making him all the more agreeable. *He then pauses and nods to Rhodes*And Ksi, this is my dear friend and long term tennant Ms. Rhodes Ventru...a very respected member of the people who take solace within these walls.

As Red finishes up her pancakes she senses another presence, faint, but she knows someone is approaching. As a young man enters the tavern she watches him from the corner of her eye and sniffs the air. She could never be to careful from now on.
Taking in a deep breath she sniffed him out and smelled something very familar, faint, but again still there. She couldn't quite put her mind on it so decided to follow him. Easing from her chair she followed him quietly as he went in the direction that Aykon and the new girl Rhodes had taken.
Catching up with him a few seconds after he had already reached Aykon and Rhodes, she watched as Aykon broke into a formal salute and greeting.
Interesting, she thought. The smell came to her again and this time she recognized it for what it was. He smelled like Aykon. Standing off back in the shadows she watched the scene.
((Ksi! *tacklehugsglomp* xD To belay the confusion, I'm a girl pretending to be a guy, so if and when you address refer to me as a guy. ^^))

*Intently watches Aykon's salute to Ksi, it reminds her of how she acted towards the elders of the clan. It slightly bothered her to see it. She kept her vibrant eyes focused on the males until Aykon returned to speaking with her. After hearing the desciption of the hostess job she seems a little dishearted. Although she had said she would take any job her friend thought best for her, she had wanted to work in the infirmary.Perhaps she should've said so in the first place, but she didn't want to come off to stubborn. It was nice enough to let her have a room again. She put on a smile and nodded. *
"Sure Aykon."
*As Aykon introduced the general Ksi, her body dipped in a low bow. It was customary to do so to the higher ups. Again she was reminded of the clan. As she rose from the bow a polite smile shown on her face, her left fang protuded slightly from her upper lip.*
"Nice to meet you Mr. Karvey"
*Throughout all the goings on with Aykon, Rhodes kept an eye at the gentlemen with the pancakes. She didn't know what worried her more the silence or the sniffing*

Ksi smiled and casually saluted Aykon. He then patted him on the shoulder.
“Ah yes, I’ve come here for a small break, and to visit with you. Perhaps we’ll see where things lead us. So, how’ve you been my friend?”
The keen looking young man then begins to look about the room, and with a hawk like gaze, he elegantly acknowledges the others around him, nodding towards the girls he sees. A gentle smile on his face relays a calm and friendly nature.

Ksi Ksi smiled and casually saluted Aykon. He then patted him on the shoulder. “Ah yes, I’ve come here for a small break, and to visit with you. Perhaps we’ll see where things lead us. *He returns the smile as he replies to his superior officer with a notably lest formal tone*Well, feel free to enjoy my business, I find that this is a great place to relax after whatever battles I face. It is certainly safe from the likes of things like Felix...*shudder* I am actually just about to show Rhodes here to a room. She is taking up residency here for a while. I think she needed a break from her demanding life as well...that's part of the reason I am here too. *He then approached the stairs and began walking up them with Rhodes in close tow*You are welcome to come too and see one of my rooms but not even the mighty Ksi is allowed to wear boots on the tatami! *Aykon now chuckled lightly and waited for Rhodes to follow him upstairs.*

Ksi chuckles.
That’s fine, I think I’ll wait here and get something to drink. Oh, and don’t worry about the boots.
He lifts his left foot a bit.
I placed a ward over them before I entered, to make sure that they don’t disturb anything, even the precious tatami.
With a sly look, he lowers his foot, and Aykon can indeed sense the ward on Ksi’s boots. It seems they couldn’t even shift a blade of grass at this point. The Esper leader then walks over to the bar and has a seat, as he waits for Aykon to return, and perhaps someone to order a drink from.
(I’ll be out of town this weekend, but I’ll try to hop on and post anyway, if I can. wink )

Leaving Aykon and Rhoses to themselves Red follows after the stranger remaining a few feet behind him. As he sits at a seat at the bar she stands off to the side and behind him leaning against the walls trying to remain in the shadows as much as possible before speaking to him.
Your like him aren't you?

Rhodes *she smiles brightly, glad Aykon asked.* "I would like work in the infirmary.It's about the only thing I am sure I have good qualifications for. " *Begins to follow Aykon upstairs* ((It's short. Also moving the next few days so I don't know if Ill be able to post.)) Of course you can work in the infirmary, it is on the way to your room so you can see it while we go there! *Aykon now leads you up the stairs to the second floor. The stairwell opens on to the fresh tatami that appears untouched for many months but completely clean. To the right is a long hallway with rooms leading all the way to the end, each has a number starting with 2.*
*Over to the left of the stairs is a slightly larger room with a red cross on front of the door and inside are about 4 beds and several pieces of medical equipment*Right through that door on the left is your hospital, you can stop by and look at it after I get you to a room. *Aykon continues to walk up the second flight of stairs until he reaches another floor of rooms. It is laid out esactly like the floor below with rooms leading off to the right and each starting with the number "3".*
*He then leads you to the first door directly in front of the stairs which clearly reads "301" and produces his large keyring, unlocking the door. And then he stands with his hand ushering you into the room*Here you go! How's this?

((hope you don't mind me taking a few liberties with the description of the room. Whatever isn't suitable just let me know and I will edit it.))
*The moment her feet land on the soft carpeting she feels at peace. Nothing like the stone cold marble floors of the Ventru mansion. The floor was a soft off white which complimented the woodwork walls. As she stepped further into the room she could see the glass door and through that the balcony. Anyone would have to admit that from that balcony the view of the sea was spectacular, you could see the cascading cliffs the jutted out from a portion of the shoreline. At night the moon would reflect off the water to give the 'Lagoon' an eerie glow. The bed was a fourposter made out of cherry wood. Rhodes grinned and was quite pleased with the room.*
"It was like it was meant for me."
