Rosethorn Hall, Benirus Manor, that one in Bruma, then there's the Imperial City Shack, followed with the Mages Guild or whatever.

I've decided to traverse the country side, discovering EVERYTHING and then memorizing the Gold Coast so I don't need a map. I have noooo life. So I put all my useless crap (Extra armor, weapons that I don't need, potions, extra rings, etc.) and decided to sleep only in the camps of the bandits that I slaughter. Tis fun.

I live in the huge Cheydinhal place.
But I like Bruma the most, I like the snowy feel.

I chill in the Imperial Water Front house just because I don't really see why you need a big house if you're just running around all the time. I only go there to sleep and level up.

The first house I ever bought was the Bruma one. I liked the price and the location. Later, I tried out Benirus Manor in Anvil (it was a tough Lich fight, but it's a nice house cheap), Arborwatch in Chorral (another nice place, though I have no use for two bedrooms and three beds), Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad (that servant is the most annoying NPC I've had to deal with frequently), and I bought all the others just to see what they were like, except for the Leyawiin one. I assume that one sucks. When I got the DLC, I fell in love with Battlehorn Castle. Nothing really compares. Deepscorn Hollow seems cool, but the dark minion sucks (who leaves to murder people for days at a time, and just fails completely?) and it's as far as possible from civilization. Also, I can't get Sithis's blessing at the shrine because I hate being exclusively evil. It's just hard, when there's so much to gain on the various side quests that add to your fame. The pirate ship sucks except that it's cool to have a band of pirates under your command. Frostcrag Spire is awesome for alchemists and for the teleportation and atronoch familiars (although I wish the familiars could move faster so I didn't have to keep stopping), but kind of lonely for living in. I don't really like staying in guild headquarters, even when I own the guild.
So Battlehorn Castle for me!

Skingrad. But I own every house fully furnished, I actually live in Summermist manor (The Dark Brotherhood one). Skingrad's layout is confusing, but I like the houses. So much to steal
