Jesse_Sparrow_278 xo.Twilight.ox Personally, I think Henry Cavill or Johnny Depp would make a good Edward. I don't know why Johnny Depp would, but he's sexy, and so is Edward...^_^ Also, I think Gerard Butler would make a good vampire...or human. I don't know who he would be best at though. But I loved him in Dracula 2000 and the Phantom of the Opera...^^;i think JOHNNY DEPP!
Johnny Depp is VERY hott, but I just can't see him as Edward....i don't really know why...I just can't...

Athena_Rose Babyjul well I would think of Jonathan Jackson from Tuck Everlasting or maybe the one of the guys from The Covenant
But, still, nobody could pull of Edward perfectly....Edward is too perfect for a mere mortal to portray him...*leh sigh* Jackson is the closest in my opinion tho...
So they can find an actor that could look like him, but doesn't have to be exactly like him, that's impossible, and we all know it. Edward is a fiction character, he's part of an author 's imagination.

Henry Cavill = No. I'm sorry, but I can't...I refuse to see him as Edward. Maybe if in all of his pictures, his hair wasn't so...Short. I don't know, but I can't see it.
I like Gaspard Ulliel from Hannibal Rising, personally.

I like Gaspard Ulliel from Hannibal Rising, personally.
I can't really see him as Edward either. In the main pictures of him that people are using, anyway.
There's actually a few that make him look... quite Edward-ish (to me anyways) x33

it is going to be like impossible to cast edward! (stephenie just made him TOO HOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and the one thought that i had of who should play i have dicided isnt quote the right person.

hhmmm....Well, the first pick you have up as Edward i dont much like...but the 2nd one of the same guy, just...Just the way he is looking...I can definitely see Edward.

I saw this one kid on Stephenie Meyer's website as a possible Edward and it just hit me!! I was staring at him for 15 minutes, looking at how perfect he was. His name is Jackson Rathbone, and he is the perfect Edward and ultra hot!
