I've found that there are animals that are part of me and animals that I should learn from.
I have cat (not a clue on the subspecies) and dragon (oddly, do know of the unnamed subspecies) tailored into my being, cat more obvious than dragon. I guess that might count as a totem. But goats and spiders seem to be popping up, which I should really look into. Symbolism and such.

I'm fairly sure that two of my guides are the wolf and the dolphin. Those are the two animals I feel a really strong connection to. I know that a person can have more than one guide...I wonder if I have more than two, though.
I'm going to ask for guidance from my guides tonight and ask them to reveal themselves in my dreams to make sure. I remember seeing a dream spell somewhere. Does anyone know where I can find it?

My animal is the grey wolf. A neighbor of mine who is a witch helped me to find mine. It was rather interesting how she did it to. She held my hand in hers and after several moments said what mine was. She sys that she sees the shapes then they become more defined she also figured out a few more things for me by doing that. I don't doubt that she's wrong with my animal because I have a gut feeling that it is my animal.

But goats and spiders seem to be popping up, which I should really look into. Symbolism and such. I'm pretty sure my "totems" are both the cat and the dragon also! The cat I've always known, as I've always felt a connection with it and people would sometimes say I'm "cat-like" (my grandparents recently started jokingly calling me 'the queen of cats' XP). And well, I always draw dragons and I guess I have a bit of a connection with them as well... But I can never be too sure. I have a wooden Asian-style dragon carving and a cat statue on my altar. XP

my main totem is the fox and i found that out by looking into myself and the fox magic describes me so exactly that nothing is missing and nothing is off.
but we all have more than one totem and not many people understand that

Mostly. They used to be a bit more similar, but they're changing a bit... or maybe it's my drawing style that's changing... Heh..

I'd like to share an animal totem story of my mother's.
It was Samhain. My mom - let's call her Anne - was camping. She went to sleep, and had a dream that ... 5, I think it was, men came and sat at her table and asked for food. The one that seemed to be the leader was missing his right eye.
Then Anne woke up. 5 racoons were sitting at her table, and the one that seemed to be the leader was missing its right eye.
(I may have forgotten a few ideas, but you get the basics anyway.)
Anyway, years later around Candlemas I think, my mom and I were driving home at night. We were close to our house, when we saw something in the rode, staring straight at us. We thought it was a cat, but when we came closer we realised it was a racoon - a racoon missing its right eye. It walked away, turned to give one last meaningful look at my mother, and then walked calmly away.

My only animal totem ( that I know of ) is a blue whale named Marque. ^.^ I found her from just simple medatation.

Okay i don't know which is my animal totem. My favorite animal is a lemur. But i always have dreams of me running through a forest and changing into a pure white wolf. Or sometimes i'll be running from bad people in a forest and a white wolf will come and fight them off. I'm really confused is the wolf my animal totem or the lemur?

It can both! Some cultures believe that we have 9 animal totems, one for each direction (like on a compass). Although they may not all be in your life at the same time, just when you need that specific animal. Does that make sense?

I'm pretty sure mine is a crow...Or a mocking bird, raven, mag pie...I know it's a dark colored bird, either gray or black...I don't know which of those it is, though. gonk
