after hearing what the instructer had said he placed his hands abouve his head and moved them down makeing the wall in front of him go back to it's original position. he then went forth to watch the technique so he himself could practice it. he spoke to Gauw upon reaching him "could you try doing that while actually bending? it would help me greatly." he said this cause he would use the vibrations caused from the bending to determine exactly what it was that Gauw was doing. he would also listen for anything out of the ordinary to make sure that he would have a perfect picture in his head of what performing the technique would look like, for example he would listen for any signs of Gauw complaining cause he messed up. In Daniel's mind being blind actually had it's advantages.

Gauw did another punch. Moving his right leg back to a front stance. With his arm retracting back, then punching with the arm the was further ahead of him. This punch was weak and then he brought this arm back in and move his legs back to a horse position. Once his body was steady in the force position he threw the last hard forced punch that should have cause the spike to come from the earth.

Unfortuntely he forgot to stomp with his foot so that it would be slightly tucked into the ground.

Daniel felt the vibrations and continued to go in unison with Gauw but by now he had seen the technique twice and he corrected for Gauw's error. in doing this he made the two hooks come up around a pillar, with a spike comeing up peirceing all the way through the pillar and then some. causeing the pillar to split and fall over crumbling as it hit the ground.

he then repeated the process again getting in his horse stance, he then performed the weak hook punch making a hook slide forward around another pillar at the base. he then slid his right foot back performing another punch moving his right leg into a frontal like stance, doing this made another hook slide up around the pillar a little bit higher than the first one. getting back in his horse position he performed the last punch driveing a spike right through the pillar almost causeing it to crumble from the shere amount of force it was hit with.

the first time he perfomred it slowly to make sure he had it down. the second time, he did it at a more rapid pace the entire move takeing but a couple seconds. after perfoming the move for the second time he continued to practice it takeing out pillar after pillar until he was too tired to do it anymore. he repeated it to make sure that he had gotten the move down pact.

Gauw paid no attention to the new comer. Why? Because he was totally focused on what he was trying to do. All the other steps he had done without the earthbending to it. Now for the first time he would try the earthbending with the punches and leg movements.

Gauw cast out his legs and took a solid horse stance. Moving the first weak hook punch out and shortly after moving his leg back so that he was in a front stance. From the front stance he did yet another hook. This one being weak like the other but creating another hook around the pillar that stood in front of him. Pulling his arm back and setting himself back into a horse stance he stopped his left foot into the ground. Making sure that a chunk of earth in front of him was ready to be moved. Then last with a heavy forward punch he created the spike the acted like a sharkes fin coming up from the water to expose itself until it collided with the pillar.

The pillar buckled under the attack of the spike and fell toward him. Gauw immediately know that this was a problem. The towers were tall and that ment that the pillars would fall toward him. Gauw moved his arms up from his sides, at the same time a block of earth rose to meet the falling pillar. The Pillar Collided with the block and caused it to stop in its place.

Gauw looked at the new guy. Gauw knew that since he was in charge he would have to do something about this guy and either introduce him to the rest of the students or kick him out. He really didnt feel like using his force for something other than training at the moment and spoke to him through short sentences.

"Complicated..."

Once the pillar was reset up Gauw looked at it, now through events his focus has been divided. Partially on Owen th new guy and on his training. Gauw made sure that before he spoke to Owen again he had his horse stance down and sturdy.

"My names Gauw!" he said, stomping the ground with his left foot so that the pillar would slide down int the earth in the hole he had just made under its cylinderic frame. From this point Gauw did the first of the hook punches that would cause an earthen hook to wrap around the bottom of the pillar from the right.

"Its more complicated than at first glance." After this he slide his right foot back tucking in his right arm at his ribs and going into a front stance. Doing an odd hook with his left arm, the second earthen hook wraping around the bottom of the pillar.

"There are hidden bendin im my actions." Gauw moved out of the front stance, as he came in to reconstruct his horsestance he not just lightly stuck his right foot to the ground but stomped it. Which created a loose piece of earth in front of his body.
