there are many good and talented authors but id say my favorite would be DJ Machale the author of Pendragon.(one of my all time favorites!!!) He's created cunning, devious villans such as Saint Dane and creates mindracing challenges for the protagonous Bobby Pedragon throught out the ten book series.

hm..I usually focus on the story's plot and don't think a lot of the author but I have to say, I do own many books written by Judith McNaught. I also like the Vampire Academy series written by Richelle Mead. Brilliant plot.

Woah, tough question. My favorites are Stephen King (Dark Tower series) and Eoin Colfer. Colfer mostly because i like his borderline sci-fi fantasy writing, it just blows me away.

My favourite author, by far, is Trudi Canavan. She is not that well known because she is an Australian writer but she is a best-seller in England and America, as well as Australia.
